I visited early in the day, hoping that I’d beat the crowds and have a great experience, but the employees weren’t welcoming or helpful at all. I had placed my first two pod orders online and was hoping for some in-person recommendations, but they were more interested in chatting with each other.

Great service and the complimentary coffee was very good. Went there because I'm from a state that doesn't have a Nespresso store experience and we were in Calgary. Bought lots of coffee sleeves and sampled their coffee. Sheri was very helpful and explained so much to us while we talked about the different kinds of coffee. Def worth a visit!

This place is amazing!
Fernando is amazing with his knowledge in Nespresso machines and coffees.
I highly recommend going in for a full experience of what Nespresso Boutique has to offer.
We purchased a Nespresso Vertuo Plus.
If you have friends that have a machine don't forget to ask them for a referral code so you'll save money off a new machine and they also save money off future coffee pods. (I think this is for first time users into Nespresso.

The buzzer waiting system this store uses similar to restaurants is just a thinly veiled marketing scheme and totally unnecessary-Let's get the customer to spend unnecessary amounts of time in the store in the hopes that they buy more. Don't complicate the process. All I want to do is go in, get my coffee, and get out-Not watch Nespresso commercials for 10 min while I wait in a fake lineup.

I couldn't even get my foot in the door before I was stopped by an associate saying they can't return coffee. Very unwelcoming. I intended to buy coffee in addition to the return, but was so put off by the greeting I received that I left. Please just do your shopping online. It's not worth the interaction.

Not everything has to be “an experience” give the greeter a debit machine so instead of standing in line when you want one item they could just ring it in. We love our machine although buying it was a pain because the staff did not understand the product line so it took two visits, waiting in line twice when we knew exactly what we wanted.

Now it’s wait in line and wait for people taste testing every time we want pods or cleaner. The staff are nice and polite but very slow at everything, if we happen to be at the mall and decide we want to pick something up quickly… it’s never going to happen.

Was told I have to wait in line even though I know which coffee I want. Staff available as they were not helping anybody else, and still have to wait for a simple checkout process. Absolutely regret buying coffee from here.

Update: It has officially been 2 months since I've placed my order and I have not received a single update about my order. Nespresso has stolen over $200 from me. This has been the biggest disappointment from start to finish.

Overall just a poor experience. Not only is it VERY expensive but the machine (vertuo next) feels cheap and mine will randomly flash red one in every 10ish cups (water level and everything else is fine). To top it all off I was told if I ordered online shipping would be fast but I've been waiting over a month for my order and still haven't received it.

Worst customer service from the support team. I bought my machine and just had it for 2 months and the machine the espresso button is not working and providing a very small amount of coffee for the large cup (smaller than an espresso shot) waisted lot of capsules

I've tried to redeem my $20 promo for purchasing my machine twice now. First time, I took a picture of the code and went in store but that wasn't good enough, I needed the physical card even though it had a unique serial number. Then, I come in store with the card, but I need a photo of the serial number of the machine to redeem it. I had the serial number in my phone (under my Nespresso account) but that wasn't good enough either.

The whole 'boutique' is so pretentious too. I should be able to walk in and buy the coffee I want without having to have awkward conversations with people at kiosks. This whole store is a mess.

We have had a Nespresso for a while now and typically order online. We went in store today and none of the sales associates addressed us. We are typically used to this as we look like a young couple with the potential to not be able to afford a product like this. I was most shocked when we were looking at pods and genuinely considering buying some and a sales person asked us to move out of the way so she could show another customer a product.

What a great store setup. I love that you get given a buzzer and can walk around instead of waiting in line. Also - the tasting bar is an awesome idea. Who doesn't love a free coffee?

I'm going to purchase online from now on. I found the staff to be lackluster and the hostess at the door was unprofessional. That said, I lived in France for a year where the Nespresso Boutiques are outstanding. Our general standards and expectations are considerably lower. It's not worth making the trek to Chinook for that.

Been there for few times and always had a great experience, all the staff are very knowledgeable about their products.
Sheri helped us the last two times.
She was very friendly and helpful.

I’ve been here a lot. Usually nice courteous service. Except for a couple days ago when I met an incredibly rude salesperson and a manager that pretends to care.

She was trying to up my order so I get a nespresso tote bag. I joked that I don’t need another tote and she replied she had one. I joked that it’s because she works there. Well somehow that set her off. She rolled her eyes and acted indignant towards us.

I then asked if I insulted her - which I never want to do - to which she just rolled her eyes then stared at me and said “have a good day”. I asked again and she again just said “have a good day”. So now I just asked for the manager and again her reply was “have a good day”. I had to go ti someone else to get the manager. He then told the employee it was all good (not us) before finally pointing us to the manager.

We told her what happened. She said she’d deal w it and talk w HR and get back to us. No call yet. We’ll see if they care that their employees act entitled.

It's October 8,2022. Why is the boutique continuing to require customers to line up in a queue.a 15 minute wait before I can even tell them the 10 sleeves of coffee I want is ridiculous. It was my first time back to the Boutique in 2 years (I typically order online). I won't be back again.

Great location and staff here! I came in to buy a few sleeves, and the staff were extremely friendly to deal with. While we ordered, we were given a sample coffee of their seasonal flavour, and with my purchase of sleeves I purchased enough to receive a free additional sleeve on top of that. My order was picked quickly and I had the entire transaction done in minutes even though the store was super busy. Awesome having this retail location here to purchase pods and machines locally.

This store sold me a open-box item for the full price. The box had been opened twice before it was sold to me as there were 2 broken seals underneath the new one as well as water stains inside the machine. We had to take it back for an exchange but at the time they were out of stock. So my husband had to make a second trip and when they handed him the new machine, my husband was shocked as it was the exact item we returned!? Horrible inventory control! The shopping experience was extremely unpleasant. However, we would like to keep going back for the coffees as they are absolutely amazing. That’s why I spent my time writing this review, hope the store management can be improved.

I love the coffee. I hate walking in and seeing promotions that I'm not eligible for because I'm not a new customer, or using "that" machine. And enduring the staff member talk down to me to explain my ineligibility while I'm spending hundred plus dollars on coffee that would easily qualify for the promotion if I was new or using that specific machine. I'm only going to be ordering online, then I don't have to see what I'm excluded from or have to listen to an untrained fool explain to me that I'm ineligible. I am sure of this trend continues these jobs will too be eliminated and it will be because of their own incompetence and the company reacting to their unhappy customers.

I bought from this location by thousands of dollars in coffee and machines (never had a bill under $200) but looks like they don’t care for their customers and loyalty. I have 2 machines vertuo and original, the vertuo machine broke down and I was trying to switch the coffee I have left (still in the box) to the original one, but they said they can’t exchange it, and all they said call the head office, they didn’t try to explain why? They don’t even deserve the 1 star, but it’s the least available option. Terrible customer service will never be back.

Where do I start.ive been in line for 23 minutes, 3 people have walked out but they wont allow anyone in? There are two enployees that I can see that are trying to offer people in line a free coffee for the wait, instead of offering custimers a product. During this now 24 minute wait, I can see two tills that have not been used at all. Im only staying in line because wife loves this coffee and its Mothers Day tomorrow. Wow, at 26 minutes they allowed someone in.

I've had issues with my milk frother for a couple months now and the online support wasn't super helpful. I went into the nesspresso at chinook centre and the manager with the brown curly hair was super super helpful. Honestly, she turned my whole expirence around, was super kind and helped me greatly.

I was going to this Nespresso store cause I needed a last minute mother's day gift and was in a rush and man was I annoyed. I get and respect that some businesses want to keep the covid protocols in place. But your the only store in the mall that makes its customers line up. Because of this I was late to my other commitment. I get it people will still shop there because when you finally get in the store the customer Service is good and this is a specialty product. But please make adjustments like hire more employees to speed up the queue because its really annoying have to wait and Nespresso has done nothing to adjust.

Upscale coffee boutique.well stocked and friendly staff. Always worth looking to see if there is a promotion going on and time your capsule purchase accordingly. There didn't seem to be any sampling going on.

Just went in today to stock up on so e coffee. I love the store as it's a kid in a candy store for coffee drinkers. Staff was super helpful and made recommendations to us that we went with and are so pleased with our experience today!

Came to buy Nespresso machine for my mother. Got let inside and talked about which model to get according to what she would use it for. I asked the girl to give me a second to call my mom and get her to choose which color she wants. In the meantime another couple walks in and the sales person helping me starts helping them. I didn't really mind but also didn't realize I couldnt just go grab the model/color I wanted and bring it to a till. I find out that there is no till.you just have to work with an employee to purchase something. So I end up having to wait for the sales person to finish with this couple who end up asking a million questions. I quickly interjected and asked if I could just order it online and the sales person tells me well these models sell out all the time online so if you want it you better buy it here. So at this point she understands I'm frustrated and have been waiting for a while so she asks her colleague who is just standing there to help me. I buy the machine and leave. I check online and it's completely available at like 20 different retailers. This place didn't deserve my business but tricked me into it.

Experience in shop is terrible. I have only had 1 great experience with 1 individual. So I decided to utilize their online ordering system. Thus far, it is worse than going in shop. The customer service line does not help at all either. I just spoke with some that used "like" and "totally" every second word.

Horrible customer service. There were 3 people standing still at talking among eachother v waited like 10 minutes and noone came to even ask if v needed help we went to one of the associate to ask if they would a price match the associate asked the manager and the manager was least interested and she denied. Now here is the screenshot which i have attached that i had a chat with an online agent on their website and they clearly mention they would do a price match keeping few conditions in mind though. I highly dont recommend this place.

Great product, but inefficient service setup. Having 6 staff that can only help 3 people at once And it takes forever to fill order. Sure you can order ahead, but sometimes you just want to grab some coffee when passing by and don't need someone holding your hand. Maybe develop a vending machine or express lane.

Finally got the carafe for my recently purchased nespresso. I have tried quite a few types of coffee many which have been great. The machine is pretty quiet when it runs and it looks great. The staff have always been pretty great as well. The store can be a little crowded at times but it's worth the wait.

What a ridiculous experience during my last visit this past week. I had originally given a 5 star rating as my first visit was incredible but the second time, not so much. The associate who helped me was so emotionless and made the experience unnecessarily complicated. As someone who is new to Nespresso, I had a lot of questions and she just made me feel like I was bothering her.

The product is okay and I use it when I’m in a hurry. Stay away from this store though 3x substandard customer service. It’s like walking into an area where enthusiasm ceases to exist.

Our family was treated like a burden every time. Shame on you.

I'm seriously considering getting off the Nespresso brand.
IF I have to buy from an actual Nespresso store, or online, you would think that Nespresso would make it an enjoyable and convenient experience, which it never is.
Tonight I go to get coffee at the Chinook store to find out they closed at 7, while the mall is open until 9 pm! Wow

First time visiting the store and it was awful. I realize you can order online but I was totally out of coffee so decided to visit the store to get some right away.

I went in to buy 10 sleeves of Colombia.

Setting up an account was tedious. It was obvious to me that the sales associate who was helping me was new to the position and was not trained well enough. I was able to let this slip however.

The sales associate told me I could get a set of coffee mugs/saucers as a 'gift' for buying 15 sleeves of coffee. I agreed. She left for a few minutes then came back saying it was actually 20 sleeves needed to be purchased to receive the 'gift'. This is either a manipulative sales tactic (trying to get me to buy 5 more sleeves), or a result of inadequate training.

I decided I would just buy 10 sleeves of Colombia as I originally planned. Sales associate then informed me there is a maximum of 3 sleeves for each type of coffee per customer. This struck me as incredibly odd.why can I only buy 3 sleeves of the coffee I want, when online I can buy up to 300 capsules (30 sleeves) ? I decided not to argue on this point because at this time I had already been in the store far longer than I had planned (mostly due to the tedious account setup).

I finally agreed to get 12 sleeves (4 different flavors).

Upon arriving home, I realized I was given the wrong bag at checkout and am left with someone else's coffee order.

All in all this was a total failure when it comes to customer service and order fulfilment. Won't be returning and won't be using Nespresso machines any more - would rather use a company who takes customer service more serious and allows their customers to purchase what they want.

Being in a customer service position is not an easy job, but buying $90 worth of coffee and getting treated worse than at a McDonald's drive-thru is despicable.

We were in the store for a while before being approached, but eventually were noticed. The attendant made us coffee and provided some information which was helpful and then went on to help someone else. We waited patiently as we decided to buy the $190 welcome package but could not get any additional help. We approached the attendant again and were told that she would help us after finishing with another customer but never came back. After waiting another 20 minutes we decided to leave. It was somewhat busy, but not to the extent that we should be ignored so completely.

Ever since they moved from The Bay to their own store, the staff have been unfriendly and snobby. I was in on Sunday Jan12 and nobody came over to see if we wanted help. I have been buying Nespresso pods for years, but now i prefer to buy online and have shipped to my door than deal with the staff there.

Nespresso Chinook has a terrific coffee bar run by a very cool and knowledgeable person. Knows a lot about coffee but unlike most wine sommeliers that cannot explain flavour nuances without complete BS, we uninformed can learn and understand without effort. A superbly executed retailing experience, well worth checking out.

I was just in the store as I entered I got a brief hi and after that I was ignored. Walked around the whole store nobody approached me. I'm from BC znd had a list of coffees I wanted plus wanted to look at some mugs. After a 3.5 hour drive I came directly to this store excited because we don't have one. Really disappointed and to top it off one of the staff was kinda rude so I asked him his name and he said we don't give them out for safety reasons, more likely because the service is so bad. When I was here in December talked with owner great guy. Too bad Amazon getting my business now. My name is Paddy.

I’ve been in this store a handful of times and i’ve never been greeted, even as the only customer in the shop.i spent nearly 15 minutes wandering the shop looking for a machine because they’ve got a decent sale, but no one seems to want to help the customers.i’ve witnessed multiple other customers walk in and have been offered help with their shopping.this has happened on too many occasions.you’re better off finding a different location or purchasing online.terrible customer service.wish i could give it a 0 star rating but hey, a good sale is a good sale, and that’s their only redeeming quality.

Got what I needed but one visit here makes me appreciate online shopping that much more. I’ve shopped Nespresso in Paris and found it less pretentious than the crew here.

Though I love my Nespresso machine, I hate the awkward and pretentious nature of shopping in this store. I hate waiting to select my coffee with the clerk and then waiting around for them to fetch it from the back. Plus, they offer a coffee at times but in a ceramic mug that you are then forced to awkwardly drink in a hurry to remove yourself from the whole situation. I should probably just order online but I usually need to go there to drop my used pods off to be recycled. Not my favorite place.

Love this coffee. My friend introduced me to Nespresso about a year ago and I was hooked. In fact, I would invite myself over so I could have another cup of that black gold. He caught on about the 3rd time. So I bought one and have never seen him again.
