I visited the market mall location this evening and advised the clerk that I was purchasing a large quantity of coffee (as I couldn’t make it in for awhile) and required 3 bags. I purchased 15 sleeves of coffee and a descaler kit and was given 1 bag only. If the rest of the spent capsules have to hit the garbage then I have no reason to be a nespresso customer.

I used to be happy visiting this location all the time. But not this time, guys who working today, very cold and no greeting or even say goodbye or thanks.

Better learn what is they working for…

Walk in on Dec 1st around 5 pm. Host by a male staff. Was not impressed by the service. I was just want to check flavor and the offer. When I taste my coffee and want it to go the staff shake his head. It make me really uncomfortable. Since it’s my first time in store but already make me don’t want to go back!

Honestly nobody needs this shopping experience… the way your stores are organized. I wish I could just grab what I wanted and leave. I don’t want to have a one on one experience with your staff. I just want my coffee.

I had an issue with Nespresso online where my coffee for some reason got shipped back to headquarters. Sadly. I was almost out so made the steps to venture to the mall where I was met by a very kind young man. He was tall and has long hair in a ponytail.

I didn’t catch his name but I have to say he gave me tremendous customer service. I was able to get all the pods I needed plus a new blend I hadn’t even seen yet. He was kind, knowledgeable and well-versed in his coffee. At the end he made me a new pod I was interested in trying but didn’t want to commit to buying.

He is a great addition to the team and I wanted to give him a public shout out because I was so pleased about my interaction. It’s customers like that who go above and beyond who make a company stand out from others.

The store itself is beautiful and calming. It is remarkably well done. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would consider venturing back into the mall even though at heart I am supremely lazy.:)

It was my first time here and staff were very kind and helpful in guiding me through the process of recycling my used pods and helping to buy more. There was a computer issue so it took a bit of time to process my order but the Nespresso customer service attendant directed me to the Nespresso bar at the back to try a new coffee. It was made exactly how I like it. I usually order my Nespresso pods online but I really love the personal touch with the attendant, the chance to try coffee before buying plus the atmosphere of the shop which was warm and inviting. I will most definitely go back.

The guy who helped me was friendly, but otherwise the overall Nespresso store experience is poor as there is hardly any stock on the floor to browse unless you wait for an available employee to hold your hand and walk you through your buying experience. For the most part it's over done for a place that sells mediocre coffee pods made by Nestle. I would recommend sticking to online ordering and avoid the stores unless you have to.

Went to the boutique on Feb 18 around 4 pm to pick up an order. Customer service was not that great. The lady (purposely choosing not to drop a name here) who approached me was lacking basic customer service skills- she needed to take a look at my order number for the second time.instead of asking me politely she just grabbed my phone off my hands. Number 2, she was rushing which resulted to her missing one item from my order. Good thing I checked my haul before leaving the mall.

Worst customer service from the support team. I bought my machine and just had it for 2 months and the machine the espresso button is not working and providing a very small amount of coffee for the large cup (smaller than an espresso shot) waisted lot of capsules

I ended up returning my machine

My new Vertuo Next machine arrived last week and right out of the box it was defective. I had purchased it online from Nespresso. I called support and went through some painful processes with extremely rude support reps and finally decided to return the machine to the boutique store located in the Market Mall in Calgary.

Upon entering the store, Yi Chien introduced himself and asked how he could assist me. So, I told him about my experience with this new system and he immediately sprung into action and replaced the defective machine with a new one. He also gave me three complimentary packages of capsules for my trouble.

In addition to this, he reassured me that if everything is not perfect with this new unit, bring it back and he will get approval to select any machine in the Nespresso collection to make it right.

Yi Chien was very polite and professional and solved my problem with a smile.

This new machine works great so far and has not raised any issues. I had purchased a subscription so I was only charged $1 for this machine. Great deal.

Oh Nespresso…just take my money.

In my opinion, they have the market cornered for convenience, but they know they do, as well. This means service is a mixed bag: sometimes I’m warmly welcomed and someone is up selling me with coffee samples and telling me about the origins. Other times, I feel like just another person to ring through.

Another thing I have a gripe with is the machines themselves. Again - love the convenience and style of the machines - however, the ultra hot cleaning /descaling required on the machines has destroyed the seals on two of my machines. But without it, the flavour and function isn’t up to par. Double edged sword.

They need to do better in providing cleaning options that won’t destroy machine seals and create leaks. Again, only my opinion, but I’ve had the distinct pleasure of paying three times now for new machines and yet no one will acknowledge what the real cause may be for repeat issues.

I've been a Nespresso user since 2010 and the customer service here is trash. Not sure why I got so much attitude asking to try the new pumpkin spice pod. When someone spends thousand of dollars here per year you should treat them as such. Based on other reviews, management does not care about the quality of their staff. Train your staff properly. Pathetic.

Worst customer service I ever seen from Kate. Very unspleaset service. You can't try coffee you need to guess a taste and misleading information about exchange of coffee you don't like. I will dispose of my coffee machine. Very hard to find capsule and very unpleasant service. It's a brand that says that are proud of service.

I've been buying from Nespresso for 4 year's, I recently bought a new machine. Unlike my last machine it was externally loud, compared to my other machine. When I went to return It, I had to return the pods as I have a vertio and this one was the original. The manager refused to return or exchange 2 opened pod boxes, I maybe used 4 pods until I decided to return it. I've been a loyal customer for years, knowing Nespresso is more expensive then most. Good to know my business is a only worth two boxes of pods

Loved our salesperson, she was lovely. She was helpful with pointing out some new flavours we might like to try. We walked out with a large heavy bag full of delicious Nespresso capsules.

I also appreciate the lineup outside to limit persons in the store. Once inside, the personalized service was excellent.

Has anyone have leaking issues for the virtual next model? My new machine leaks very badly. I saw people on YouTube have been taking about that… any other model that would not leak?

Came in last night, and the sales team was absolutely awesome. My first time using the boutique and they were able to help me find what I needed and really hooked me up with some pod recyclable bags. Will always come in whenever I’m in the city!

Arrive at the mall for 10am opening only to find out Nespresso sets their own hours of 11a-7p. Fine, I kill an hour at the mall then arrive for the awkward upsell attempt. Get through that, give them my order & they can't seem to ring up the pods. He goes to the back to check and yes, they're in stock sitting, waiting to be purchased. Then I'm told to come back later when a manager is back to sort it out as they are "off somewhere in the mall". The concept is simple: order pods, exchange money for item, leave. Instead, I wasted 90 minutes at a mall just to leave emptyhanded because they couldn't complete a simple transaction. No wonder so many people are moving away from Nespresso.

Worst service ever, the sales had literally no knowledge about there machines. He told me to choose 15 caps for sample and then after I paid he said I don't get to choose them.

You can't buy Nespresso anywhere but the Nespresso store. This is 1 of only 2 locations in southern alberta. So when you make plans, and drive FOREVER to get there (and I live in town!), they won't take cash. No exceptions. Which apparently isn't just a pandemic thing, but regular policy. So I left empty handed. They really want you to shop on their website, which charges shipping, unless you spend over 50 dollars. On COFFEE. I really love their product, but they have just put up too many obstacles to obtaining it. Putting my machine on kajiji.

The store staffs are very patient and friendly to help customers. Some of coffee I shop online. I also like to go to store to tease new items and to recycle the waste.

I don’t understand the whole concept. There’s 8 employees and there’s only allowed 4 ppl in the store. Like come on you’re selling coffee not Louis Vuitton handbags.

Went to Chinook Mall Nessprso. They won't take cash. Called customer service. Where the gentleman that answered my call hung up on me. Think twice about getting one of these. They were happy to take my cash when I bought 2 Nessprso machines

I tried calling the store as I had questions about ordering online and picking up at the store, they only have one general number of the Canadian website and after a long wait I got cut off, tried this 3 times and am totally not impressed with the company’s lack of personal service. Looking forward for competitors.
