Terrible. We were in Japer for 5 nights. We went twice to Nesters in the afternoon and it was terrible. Shelves were bare and the second time the deli section was closed due to no staff being available. We went back a couple of times during the morning thinking maybe they stacked the shelves of a morning but it was no better with shelves still bare and deli closed. Do not bother going there just go to TGP in town, a much better option.
Large selection for groceries in small town/ small supermarket! Some of the staff were ok but some of them really stand out!
Pretty expensive if we thinking bigger city but still gives us huge convenience. Good location but parking is not great tho. Recommend walk if you stay near them.
Nice people work there! Soup of the day, creme of vegetables was tasty. Store just around the corner, very handy, with all necessity for travellers and folks living in the town.
One of those small town feeling grocery stores. They have pretty much anything you'd need. Thank goodness Jasper hasn't succumbed to all the franchises. Support local!
Good, clean (and I believe the only) place to do your grocery in Jasper. Great variety of products. Compared to Lake Louise, prices are much more reasonable, but I still would not consider the products as cheap either. If you are driving to Lake Louise from Jasper and planning to stay in Lake Louise for a while, make sure you buy your grocery in Jasper or you will regret it (or you might consider going to Banff for your groceries).
Fun little supermarket with all your needs right in Jasper. I found some prices a but high but overall reasonable enough. Check it out. I have come back to edit this review to mention the fellow in the deli dept packaged the sliced meat in such a distinct fashion that I am so impressed. (It literally was packaged in a perfect square as if it were a handcrafted envelope). Little details get my attention. The cashier did an amazing job as well by managing to carefully pack all my groceries into one reusable bag.
Worst grocery store experience of my life! Old lady ringing me through was extremely rude. She made it clear that I was bothering her by being there. I was So clearly an inconvenience to her. I’ve not left a negative review many time in my life but I left here feeling truly upset by the way I was treated by this cashier. If you want to be treated like a “less then human’ then I highly recommend shopping here.
Il a l'avantage d'être facilement accessible depuis la route principale et d'avoir un immense parking à proximité pour le desservir. Mais il manque quand même du choix, surtout pour avoir des produits prêts pour le pique-nique (salade de thon en boite, par exemple)
I was here few weeks ago and debated for long if I should leave a review. Store is nice, clean and we found most of what we are looking for. But I have never experienced such a worst treatment in my life. I asked the older blonde lady at the cashier for the bathroom and she replied to me "go somewhere else" dismissively then called the next customer. I couldn't believed what just happened so I just stepped away.
Picked up some of their sushi and packaged salads for our lunch on our weekend visit to Jasper and enjoyed it very much. Everything was fresh and tasty. Their selection is quite good for their size.
Great option while in the national park for food. Very nice staff and great selection all around, including lots of pre-made food as well as a good selection of fruits and vegetables. Fully functioning deli.
Its fine.everything is pretty much the same as Robinsons it replaced except the hot foods. There is none. They are all cold pre-packaged yucky food. Seriously miss Robinsons chicken wings and ribs! They were our go to food every time we came to Jasper (about 4 times/year), or even passed by Jasper to head elsewhere. Pretty sure it sold well too because you showed up too late and it was all gone. Even my super food picky Brazilian family enjoyed it when we brought them over. Unfortunately Nesters didn't continue it. We were very sad to say bye to our little tradition.
Nestors is new to town and adapting the old store to a nestors style. A welcome change of look with the same happy staff from before. I wish them luck and I hope the positive changes continue
Very expensive. Make sure you look at your receipt after purchase. The item charged was more than the advertised price. Difference was $1.61 so the cashier asked me to pick another item worth that amount. However, I only wanted the difference back. He seemed reluctant and he ended up only returning $1.50!
Very friendly and helpful staffs. It has fresh bakery every morning. It also seem to have better meat selection than TGP. You can use Apple Pay there too.
Was there at robinsons around lunch time today at the bakery, the guy was extremely rude, i asked the guy for" 1/2 a dozen of buns" and he said" we never had, only full dozen". In a rude tone. And told me to" get lost" But what he doesn't know that I am a local and will be telling everyone I know not to shop there. Sorry that one bad apple has to rot the whole tree Take tour business at the other place.
