Dr Smith was super helpful! She helped me with health problems I was struggling with for years. She took the time to understand my situation and found long term solutions. I would recommend her to any woman who is in search of receiving help for their health.

I've seen 3 practitioners at Neurvana and all have been incredible! Each one has a unique specialty and they are willing to work as a team to provide the best care possible. I have had little to no success with M. D's, but have improved my quality of life by leaps and bounds seeing Dr. Best, Dr. Smith, and Dr. Nelson. They are all innovative thinkers and see their patients as whole people, not just a sum of their "conditions". This team has provided top notch care and I can't thank them enough.

Dr. Best and the Team at Neurvana are incredible! Dr. Best is very compassionate, empathetic, invested, and caring. He is very thorough and really looked into the cause of my symptoms, (which other doctors could not find an answer for/did not care to look into). He is actually a lifesaver. Overall the clinic and testing they do is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. I would highly recommend the clinic if you have any sort of complex chronic illness.

I am very grateful to have found Dr. Best. I suffered from semi-anaphylactic allergic reactions for over 4 years. In that time, I saw numerous medical doctors, allergists and other naturopathic doctors with no positive outcome or even a diagnosis. Beginning with my initial consult with Dr. Best I knew I had found the right person to figure out my issue. I would consider him to be on the cutting edge of his field, his knowledge and expertise are unparalleled. I finally got a diagnosis and began treatment 3 months ago. Dr. Deacon has been amazing! He was very thorough and took the time to explain the science behind what the tests found and the treatments provided. The treatments have been so impactful for me. I was getting no where in the traditional health care system, Dr. Deacon gave me hope that there was more that could be done, and delivered results I am astounded by. The staff are always friendly, the clinic atmosphere is low stress.

Bad experience, do not recommend. Have been a patient here for a couple years for both Naturopathy and Neurofeedback. I had a few weird experiences that left me feeling uncomfortable. Billing practices have been unethical, they over charge for sessions (ie.charged me 90 mins for a 70 min session), charge a naturopath rate but use less qualified techs (neurofeedback) and most recently they charged me an extra $85 for a session they claim went over 15 mins - in said session, the practitioner was late and spent a portion of time pitching me on his separate business. My expectation with any practitioner is that they are watching the time and advise me when time is up. In this case and a previous case my credit card was charged indiscriminately - discovered only when I checked my credit card bill. When I asked for a refund I was met with hostility and condescension - when I asked for clarity I was stonewalled. They refunded me only when I said I would have to cancel the charge with my credit card company. That was enough for me, having invested trust and money in a protocol that I now can’t finish, I decided to walk. The hostility continued when I had to ask several times for my records.

I cannot express enough gratitude for discovering Neurvana Naturopathic Medicine through the internet. As a concerned daughter of a mother diagnosed with breast cancer, I searched far and wide for answers and support. Neurvana has provided both through the expertise of Dr. Best. The patient portal is well organized and Dr. Best is quick to respond to all of my questions with credible information backed by clinical trials. His extensive knowledge is truly impressive. I highly recommend seeking a second opinion to ensure the best possible outcome. The internet is a valuable source of information, but it's important to approach it with discernment and to consider seeking professional advice. Thank you, Dr. Best, for being a valuable resource on my mother's healing journey.

PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS! I ended up in emergency with blood work extremely out-of-whack (some results more than 10x the top end of normal range). I sent all the lab results done for the next 5 weeks (2 times/week) to them to show what was happening. No word until they wanted me to repeat another test ($500+)! I said I wouldn't be continuing with them, as I had already spent more than $12,000 within a couple of months for lab tests, consultation, and supplements- and the only result was ending up in the hospital emergency room. I was told Corey wanted to talk to me via phone. I initially refused but after repeated calls, I relented. I was told the phone call would not be charged as a consult to my credit card and that I would not be charged anything. Yeah, right! I was charged $356.36 and they blocked my neurvana account so I could not access the two messages that they had sent less than 4 days earlier. They refused to re-activate my account long enough for me to receive the 2 messages. They overcharge for their services (lab tests, etc.) because my regular naturopath (who was on mat leave) can get the same tests done for less and the supplements she provides cost much less. Save your money! Choose a more ethical naturopathic doctor who is not gouging your bank account.

I cannot say enough good things about the exceptional care I received while working with Dr. Alex Smith. After many years of dealing with feeling unwell Dr. Smith was able to solve the root cause of my problems and used a holistic approach to treat my health problems effectively. Dr. Smith was very personable and always treated me with respect, listening to my concerns and needs. She was extremely knowledgeable and resourceful when it came to my gut, hormone and reproductive health. The patient portal set up by the clinic was also very useful to commute to Dr. Smith while working through various protocols and supplement regimes. I always felt like I was being heard and that Dr. Smith had my best interest at heart. I struggled for many years with gut health problems which in turn affected my fatigue, energy and overall well-being. I also had concerns around hormone health that weren’t being addressed effectively or in timely manner in our healthcare system. Dr Smith was confident and successful in being able to help regulate my hormones and I’m so pleased with the outcome. In our healthcare system I was seen as healthy based on ‘perfect lab work’ and ‘no findings’ from other tests and even western medicine specialists said nothing was wrong with me. As much as there is always that piece of mind it’s nothing ‘major’ it still doesn’t disregard the fact that my symptoms and health affected my personal life and limited me in the things I enjoyed doing. Meeting Dr. Smith was just so enlightening. She gave me hope from Day 1 and now through her tests, supplement protocols and some diet modifications, I feel more like myself than I have in years. I am able to do what I want now and not be limited by low energy or feelings of being unwell. I am also to eat many foods that I used to think I was allergic or sensitive to. I appreciate that she always educated me at our visits so that I could understand the way the body worked and the reasoning behind the advice/treatment being given. I always appreciated her honesty when I asked questions. Believe me- I asked her A-LOT of questions yet she continued to be so patient and willing to help! Additionally it was so nice to have the opportunity I had to tailor my journey based upon what I felt was important to me at a given time. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience in the clinic but also the expertise of Dr. Smith. I feel so fortunate for all I was provided and how well taken care of I felt. If you’re serious about wanting to be healed naturally and willing to put in the effort and commit to the advice given here I’m confident you’ll have a great experience as well. Specifically to any ladies looking for help with reproductive or gut health concerns I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Smith! Dr. Best encompasses everything I was looking for in an integrative oncologist. On top of being a good listener, he's very knowledgeable in the area of oncology (specifically testing and treatment). He's been clear with me about what he believes to be the best treatment approaches, which is important because I wouldn't want a doctor that tells me what he thinks I want to hear. Furthermore, he's also been very patient with my many questions. This is a big plus! One more thing that has been really significant is that Dr. Best is knowledgeable about both alternative and conventional treatment strategies, both effective and ineffective. The long and the short of it is that I plan to continue as a patient of Dr. Best.

Oh my gosh! I cannot recommend them enough. I had a pretty minor concussion but pretty severe symptoms from not being able to speak or walk to forgetting where I was or who people were. I had a couple good Dr's but no real answers other then to go home and rest but as the weeks went on I was getting worse ANYWAY my brother found Neurvana and from the beginning they were amazing in so many ways! 110% recommend them.

Dr. Best is very informative and caring in his approach and doesn't give up on his patients. When I first started seeing Dr. Best, I had debilitating symptoms that made day-to-day life very difficult. He was able to deal with symptom management right at the first visit (for symptoms that I had had for 2 years and had been told nothing could be done for several times) and then worked to address the root causes. I've had a great experience with Dr. Alexandra Smith. I had been misdiagnosed a few times and was struggling to find someone to look at my symptoms from a holistic and all encompassing approach. Dr. Smith spent a ton of time getting to know my full story before putting together a proper supplement protocol and treatment plan. Would highly recommend for other women looking to find strong medical support.

I went to Dr Best at Neurvana Health after having a Baker’s cyst rupture behind my knee, It was very painful and was not healing properly, It would feel ok for a few days and then go back to pain over and over again, Dr Best recommended a laser therapy treatment to speed up the healing process. I booked in for a weekly treatment with Mike the laser technician, he was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job, was able to answer any questions I had and is very personable, By the second treatment I could feel a big difference in the reduction of reoccurring pain, by the 4th treatment it was fully recovered and back to normal.
I would highly recommend this process to anyone who is interested in speeding up the healing process. Dr Best and his team are definitely worth checking out,

Came in for planter fasciitis and nerve pain to my left foot, noticed a major improvement and manageable pain in the second weekly Laser Treatment. Each treatment after I am making way to a full recovery. Can’t say enough about this painless healing process and the friendly staff, would recommend for all ages.

I had a consultation with Neurvana. I discussed what I was looking for and was told the initial meeting was $375 (which is not the issue). However after discussing my concerns with Melissa I asked, so what are the testing costs for the things I am asking about. She was unwilling to find an answer. I understand that tests are based on individual needs, but I was looking for a rough estimate, was it going to be another $500? Or another $5000. When I indicated that I have to be able to afford it if I was going to pay the $375 out of pocket I was told there was financing available (red flag that this was likely going to be very expensive). When I indicated that without an estimate of what it would cost, I was unable to afford it, Melissa indicated that she could find another clinic better suited to my "financial situation". My financial situation is fine thanks, and it's fine because I ask questions like how much is it going to cost in advance. I was not expecting Melissa to answer that minute, but maybe take the information I provided her and at least ask. What I was looking for is not something crazy, I believe it was a reasonable ask. But I guess Neurvana must be only for those with very, very deep pockets. If that is you, than I am sure the doctors are amazing. If you ever get to that point.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the amazing staff at Neurvana Naturopathic Medicine. The ladies up front have went above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of. Y’all know who you are! My husband has been seeing Dr. Ryan Best for the last two years ever since he was diagnosed with cancer. It has been nothing but a fantastic experience in every way. My husband is cancer free and I know it has been because of Dr. Ryan's great care. Dr. Ryan has treated us with the utmost respect and is so knowledgeable that we learn something new every time we visit. I also recently took another family member in to see Dr. Ryan as she was dealing with depression and anxiety. He gave her some tools to use right away and she is already seeing some improvement. I took up an offer that was on FB as I was frustrated with Knee pain I have had for the last 18 months and also Dr Erik Nelson was offering a 50% reduction in the cost for the intial visit. I was sceptical at first becuase I have never used naturopathic treatment before but I felt I had nothing to lose as I could not find a solution.

I am extremely happy with the treatment and recover plan that Dr Erik gave me. He really knows his stuff and he pinpointed my injury on the first visit. The treatment is going very well and I am back to enjoying an active life the way I want to.

Dr Erik made reccommendations for supplements which I bought elsewhere and he offered thier supplements but did not pressure me to buy them. Dr Erik is now one of my go to guys. Excellent service.

When I first came to Neurvana they started me off with two Neuro-Feedback sessions a week. I started seeing improvements almost immediately, but then it started to plateau. Then they had me do one Neuro-Feedback a week and one session with Liz Deacon who does the Solus training and therapy. Since I started seeing Liz, I've made huge improvements and changes. If you're looking for a Naturopathic clinic, this is the place to go! And if you get a chance to meet with Liz you'll love her. She makes you feel very comfortable and at home and is very knowledgeable in her field.

Amazing experience with this naturopathic clinic. I received a "devastating" diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. I did not want to be on immune system suppressants for the course of my disease. I see Corey Deacon, and he is a truly caring person that listens and has been able to help with my progress towards healing. He listens at every appointment, and can help me understand my symptoms on a cellular level. This is not a clinic to go to if you enjoy suppressing symptoms and not healing yourself. However, if you want to change your life - and YES even fatigue is life changing - this is the place to go. They won't prescribe you ritalin, or immune system suppressants. You will get real help from real and extremely intelligent people. They understand how our bodies really work in an integrative way. I can't say enough good things about this place.

So much gratitude for the team and services at Neurvana Health. I cannot overstate how much my life has improved in just 3 months since we began working together. Wish i knew about this place earlier. The crew at Neurvana is simply amazing, knowledgeable, happy and helpful. I am still on a healing journey, but I have noticed a difference with Neurvana Health’s treatment program. My symptoms have been significantly reduced making life easier as the days go by. Corey and his team are very knowledgeable and opened-minded people, with a wide range of experience. What I like the most about this clinic is that their treatment programs are personalized, realistic and flexible. I cold write a book on the journey I've had over the last 10 years. Misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis, hair falling out from poorly prescribed medications, perfectly healthy organs just about removed for no reason and a lot more. I'll be the first to tell you that Canada's health care is fundamentally flawed at it's core and I have the scars to prove it. So far I have been doing a rigorous supplement protocol that gets updated every few months as the conditions change, along with Neurofeedback which has made a massive difference in how I experience symptos as well as in how well I can think, sleep and react emotionally.on top of that they had me adopt many lifestyle habit changes including eating, which wen't way beyond what any other naturopath has ever suggested to me such as "remove corn, soy, dairy, wheat" the standard stuff. They actually look at your body type and what foods are right for you, not some blanket statement that is mass marketed. For me it was to avoid salicylates which I never even knew was a thing until their nutritionist Carly shared some information with me. It's now been just over 1 year into working with them and I havn't felt this good since i was 18. They are truly results driven and they don't just advertise that as window dressing as so many other alt providers do. They are seriously dedicated to making lasting changes and I wish I would have found them years ago. Even with how much I have spent with them, it pales in comparison to what I previously spent not just in money but in time. You would be absolutely insane to go anywhere else if you have a serious condition.
