The restaurant is clean and pleasant. The food is good value. Our server was knowledge about the menu and helpful to adjust the meal my wife was asking for. They have a gluten-free fryer, so a lot of the fried food items are gluten-free - except the calamari (which I don't understand: - () They also have another room for VLTs if that is of interest.
This place is a true hidden gem. Loved the ambiance. The pear and prosciutto flatbread was a game changer. Never tried anything like it and all the ingredients came together to create the most delightful dish. I didn’t care much for the mojo pork Cubano to be honest. I did however love the togarashi aioli served with the fries. Coming back here again to try other dishes.
So happy we stopped here for dinner before a movie! Loved the decor and they had a great patio. We were recommended to try the Peri Peri chicken and it was fabulous! I'll be going back to have it again. And our server was amazing- super friendly and helpful with the menu items. We will be back!
I love this hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy and chic, with trendy decor and soft lighting that made for a great ambiance. The drink menu was extensive and impressive, with a wide variety of cocktails and wine to choose from. I tried a few different drinks and they were all delicious and expertly crafted. I would highly recommend the prickly pear martini. The food menu was also fantastic, with a great selection of small plates and entrees that were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was excellent with with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had a great time. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable experience.
Came here for my anniversary and all i have no complaints or regrets i think this place has some of the best food in the city, everything tasted amazing we ordered the chorizo mac & cheese, mojo cubano sandwich, spincach sip and brussels sprouts i would order every single item again but i also can’t wait to come back and try more food wasn’t too busy when we went and the whole place was beautiful server was really attentive and kind
We went when they first opened and the food was ok. They recently changed the menu and we're much happier. Food is great and the patio is fantastic in this weather.
Would not recommend, seriously. Like this place can't decide what it wants to be, their branding is just completely off. The interior is modern and upscale, but the menu is everywhere, with all types of Asian, Mexican, and European dishes that makes me feel like they just can't decide what they want. This would be something I could let go if the food was good but it wasn't. I had the Banh Mi and the bread was stale and hard, it was also overfilled and cut open on both ends so everything just kept spilling out. The servers were lovely and kind but with how stressed out they were it was clear that management is a mess. Overall they need to narrow down on the menu and work on their branding and management if they want to be memorable (and not in a bad way).
We had a lot of fun here - upbeat atmosphere, mix of patron ages, refreshed interior design, taco Tuesday and the most delectable mojito-like Monk drink ever. Order it from the cocktail menu with some fish tacos - you will thank me!
We noticed the construction was done, so we stopped in for dinner and we are so glad we did! The new pub is amazing, we loved the decor but most of all the atmosphere and the service was outstanding. We loved it so much, we came back 2 days later. Jake and Mark, the bartenders and Marianne, server, were super nice but all of the staff were great. We loved the food both nights and excited for the new menu launch this week. We have found a new favorite bar as we live in the aera. Thanks New Camp!
Lived in the area my whole life. Decided to give them a try and ordered takeout. Got Calamari, and a burger with a side of fries. Was greeted by friendly staff when I picked my food up. The burger was delicious (although a bit dry). However the Calamari was not good. It was like a rubber band. No breading at all, and sure not crispy. All that said, the sauces that came with it were very tasty woth my fries haha. If I came back I would opt for a different appetizer.
Extremely bad service. After 1.5hour of ordering our ordering our gluten free pizza, the waitress apologized several times and still said it would take longer to arrive. We really want to like the new place, but there is something extremely wrong with their kitchen organization. We left very frustrated
Nachos were great. Wings were very good, but the ribs were awful. Service was excellent and the patio and inside decor are first rate. Prices are decent.
Lunch today was disappointing! It took 40 minutes to get our order and the burger was tough/way overcooked. It was disgusting and I did not finish. The server picked up the plate and said she would talk to the manager. The manager did not come to the table and $5.30 was deducted off the bill. A comment to the manager, If you would have been fair, came over to speak to us and provided a reasonable discount, I would have given you a second chance. We live in the area and eat out frequently. Unfortunately, based on my experience today and the lack of response from the management, we won't return. There are many great restaurants west of Sarcee and we will continue to give our business to these establishments. The cost to your restaurant to make things right would have been far more cost effective than losing our business permanently.
Unfortunately both times I have visited here, they were clearly understaffed.
I realize that it’s hard to hire right now, but maybe they should be closing some tables so they don’t deliver such a subpar experience: waiting 10-15 minutes to receive attention from a server.
Very frustrating experience! My friends and I waited for 1,5 hr to get our food and after that we still didn’t get our food. We ended up having dinner at Sunterra. Unbelievable!
Unfortunately, very underwhelming and inconsistent. My family and I were very excited when a new pub opened up in our neighbourhood, only to be let down. We have dined here eight times and four of the times were solid, while the other four were less than mediocre. Since we have been there we have had slow/inexperienced service, been charged for soda refills twice, had three different types of batter on the fish and chips, ordered a philly cheesesteak that came with chicken (and then brisket the next time we ordered it), flat beer twice, and various portion sizes of salad (none of which worth the 18$ price tag). Last night (June 22nd) was the last straw. It took over an hour to get our food (without a reason) and our server failed to check in with us. It was only after our comments/complaints, that we were given a seemingly insincere apology and a mere 10% discount. New Camp, we so desperately wanted to like you - I’m not sure what the saying is after being fooled eight times, but we will make sure not to make it a ninth.
I am so mad that 2 friends and I had to wait more than 1h and a half for our order. Even though we asked our order many times. By the end we decided to leave because they didn't even started to make our food. We left the place very frustrated.
I have PTSD from the previous pub that used to inhabit this space and likely made me delay coming in to try this new spot, but lunch today was totally on point. Great friendly service. Margarita on the patio was perfect. The Clubhouse was one of the best sandwiches I've had in awhile and my partner enjoyed the burger. Can't wait to come back for more. What an improvement from that pub that shall not be named.
