New Dynasty Restaurant

This use to be our go to place for Chinese food but things have changed recently. I think they may have changed cooks because it is not the same. It’s not bad just not the same. The prices have not gone up as much as other places but the size of portions look smaller. I’m hoping they go back to the way they were. I like having a good reliable place to go to.

Really great food. We pre ordered for a birthday dinner for 9 due to having small children. The food came out quickly, the service was good and everything was delicious they let us bring our own birthday cake too!

Wow has this place nose dived. Used to be great food, but they closed down their buffet and our family stopped going there because of this. Other restaurants reopened their buffets but not this place. We now go to Buffet Yangtze on 64 AV.

The food was so bland, I had to use hot sauce on everything. Service was good but there was only one other table in the whole restaurant. Our server was very friendly.

Wonderful service, John was so friendly. The food is so amazing and we plan on returning when we come back to Calgary.

I was craving salt and pepper squid and Shanghai noodles with vegetables and was so disappointed. They tasted bad. My roomie who normally likes everything was even disappointed. I give two stars as the guy who answered the phone and greeted me at the door was very personable and friendly.

Not sure what happened but our selections were not up to calibre that night. Our fried rice was not fried. The sweet and sour chicken was not crispy under the saucel. It was soft and mushy. Our squid was great, as was the ginger beef. The noodle dish was ok.

Very disappointed food was cold and the ginger beef was soggy with no sauce and the sweet and sour pork was cold as well and very bland no sauce again. Won’t be ordering there again. We live 5 mins from the restaurant the food should be warm at least.

Booked an affair 2 months prior to the event and deposited 300 dollars for it. Something came up and approached her if we can just order food that cost the money since we know it’s non-refundable, she refused to since she knew that we will be going to another place (community hall). It is my hard earned moneyHow can she be so inconsiderate…

I went to attend a surprise birthday party here. It's a nice Chinese restaurant. The different dishes served were good - Rice, Basa fish, chicken, broccoli. Their service was good, and they were friendly.

Their furnish are classic and beautiful it looks like a palace.dishes are enough heat in the wok.

My favourite Chinese restaurant in Calgary, I absolutely love it and the staff is so friendly.

My family and I made a take out order from this place last night. I thought it to be on the expensive side but I don't mind paying for good quality food.
The ginger beef felt soggy and old. The chicken dish was super salty and tasted old again. The dumplings were also doughy and over all the food did not taste fresh or flavourful at all. Will not be returning here.

I ordered from this restaurant with my friend about a month ago and two of my dishes were undercooked and had hair in them. Upon telling a staff member at new dynasty they told me and my friend we could have the two dishes for free the next time we ordered. Tried to give it another shot and they were unaware of any free reconciliation food. Very difficult to communicate with and very rude. It was decently expensive too for what should've been fully cooked and sanitary food. I'll be sure to let all my local friends know.
