New Indian Sweets and Restaurant (NORTH)

By far the worst food I have ever tasted, period. The chicken in the butter chicken I ordered tasted like hardened carton and when I called to ask what this was, they said thanks for letting us know. No remorse or surprise at what I was describing. Not going back again.

Very polite and friendly restaurant service is good the girl in front she is so kind especially with kids she give those small treat overall i am so happy and i will definitely will go back and i would recommend everyone to go specifically mom they definitely should go once

Ordered a day before my party and they delivered my order next day on time. Ram took the order and order was so delicious that every of my guest was liking it so much. Thanks Ram thanks New Indian restaurant.

I was excited to see jalebi here and quickly ordered few, much to my disappointment it didn’t taste good at all. Also there samosas tasted bland, as if they bought few frozen samosas and just served fried. They didn’t seem to be made in house. Glad there was an Indian grocery store in the complex and went there.

So sorry to say. I don't know what is happening on Tuesday's may be your main chef is off on tuesdays. I am a regular customer and when ever I bought food on tuesday ur food is garbage. Try to close your restuarant on tuesday and give off for everybody otherwise you guys lose customers

In the beginning the fish pakora was great had actually fish inside but now it’s only coated with lots of besan and only a thin piece of fish. I even complained about it but it’s the same now some of the pieces doesn’t even have any fish just the besan they use. I would not recommend anyone to buy fish pakora from here.

I ordered veg thali of $12 they just gave 1 vegetable, rice, 1 naan nd salad and the whole order was messed up and tasteless atall. Evrywhere veg thali comes with 2 or 3 vegies. This is disgussiting.

Horrible, before opening I weight the box it was 2 lbs and 14 Oz as it did not feel like 3 lbs when I got home they charged me for 3 lbs. They also squeezed It in to a box crushing them!
They are a rip-off. I do not recommend! There are better ones in Edmonton thought I would try a new one very disappointing!

Amazing customer service! If you're in store and aren't familiar with the Indian desserts just ask! The lady that helped me went above and beyond with her services and patience. Highly recommended. The food was also amazing.

Our favorite go to for Indian cravings through out last summer till now! But for some reason, it seems as though their take out menu portions have gotten smaller. Other than that, they have the best goat curry!

Very bad service. Wanted to order just garlic breads (naan) and this is what I got. Waste of money and time. I'm very disappointed.

We've picked up from here about a dozen times since discovering it, it's now our favourite. When I'm there I thank them for existing & I give my appreciation to the chefs I happen to see them. I love the food that much. Like "want to eat it every day of my life" type thing. The atmosphere inside is pleasant, the sweets are delicious and very pretty, the staff are so nice.but the food.is AMAZING. I rave about it to my friends/family and even to the staff there. I ask staff if they can open another location close to me (we moved but I still drive there to pick food up, it's that good So good that our household has a running joke/movie reference about what unknown mysterious magic or voodoo or ingredient makes it so good and "makes you crave it fort-nightly".

We like everything we've tried from the menu. That's rare since i can be very picky. At most restaurants, even my favourite go-to's let me down sometimes. NOT SO AT THIS PLACE. Perfect, delicious, consistent quality, every time.)

The sweets are really good. We love the squares. Some of them are like a fudge, others are less sweet. My favourite is the white or cream coloured, not very sweet, light-yet-rich, melt-in-your-mouth, slightly sweet squares from heaven. Can't recall the name. Ask the girl at the front for the "least sweet white squares". Lol

Good to know:
- Some dishes come with tasty naan bread
- Some come with a side of raita to tone spice down a bit
- You can also request less spice in some
- Calling in to order and pick up is a bit cheaper than Skip

Wow! Best Indian food on the northside. Delicious curries, appetizers and sweets. I'm addicted to their lunch specials - $11-12 for a big container with curry, rice, salad and naan. Plus, the manager is as friendly as she is beautiful. You won't be disappointed.

I've been waiting in excited anticipation ever since I first noticed this new Indian restaurant was opening on the North side. I've tried all the other Indian restaurants in North Edmonton. It was definitely worth the wait. Everything was delicious and it is one of the only restaurants so far where my lamb was tender and falling apart instead of tough and chewy. There was so much flavour perfectly balanced. The naan was declious, the chicken tikka was really flavorful and juicy and the paneer pakoras were not bad. I definitely have a new favourite place and look forward to trying some more menu items.

So far I have tried Chole Bature and Parathas and it tastes yummy.have been going here for this regularly after.

Chef Mohammad has made food for our family plenty of times just the way we like it! Thank you for the amazing tasty food and great service from the lady at the front always too! Highly Recommend.

The food is very good however I whish they would use cardboard takeout containers instead of styrofoam.

Love the food. Chicken Korma with naan bread. Place is new and very clean which is very important for me.
This place should be converted in fine dining.

I have been eating Cheif Qurashi food from last 12 years. Last year I used him in for my wedding catering. Everybody loved the food.

I was ordered Lamb shanks and some food from this place everything amazing and customer service also very good. Thanks Chef for amazing food, highly recommended this place.

Food quality is good no doubt, but the girl that works at front reception, she is very arrogant, unprofessional, I visited the restaurant Sep. 19 to pick my food, she was not wearing any gloves, was just not wearing mask in a proper way, I was amazed how her attitude is towards customers, seems like she don't like customers to come into restaurant.

On the other hand while customers were waiting in line to get food she was just not even caring people are waiting, she was busy just changing songs on TV, I never add any reviews towards any restaurant in past but I was amazed how she reacted to me when I said restaurant food quality is good but she need to improve customer service.

I am from India but I never seen such poor attitude and service in India in any food chain, if am a owner of that restaurant would definitely make sure my front guy who greet my customers have really good customer service skills.

Super tasty, had chicken tikka masala, jeera rice and aloo gobhi with extra naan. My partner has never had Indian food before and this was a hit! A very good spicy kick which we both love! We'll definitely be ordering again. The sweets hit that sweet tooth just nicely!

The first time we ordered the food was good. However, I hade to wait for 35 min while I was told that the waiting time is only 10- 15 min.
The second time was very little pieces of chicken in chicken tikka massala. Also, the naan was burnt-out. I don't recommend this place

Chef Qureshi is the best. He makes the finest Lamb & Goat curries in the city of Edmonton. Highly Recommend his Nihari (Lamb Shanks with 2 Naan) from his Chef’s special Menu.
