New Indian Sweets & Restaurant (PALIKA BAZAAR)

If there was ever a most USELESS and UNPROFESSIONAL restaurant it is this one! You order things ahead of time and they are completely incompetent to make all the things on time. And you would have to basically wait for them to complete the order. They are greedy with complete lack of Customer Service.its like a dirty mom and pop shop.good luck getting SICK from here.

Visited here for breakfast, we order aloo puri and cholle bhature, both were tasteless except the music that was playing in speaker's.

We got a catering for our home party, too good food very fresh and tasty and good amount in very respectful price.also got complementary sweets and pani puri.highly recommended

No doubt food was really delicious and service was great too. But staff need to be well trained to greet and behave appropriate manner.

Food was really great. BUT STAFF NEED TO BE WELL TRAINED TO BEHAVE APPROPRIATE WITH CUSTOMERS. They should not answer in FLIRTY WAY.

All naan was burnt and I paid every naan $3 it’s waste my money as well I have embarrassed in front of my guests never come again

I tried fish pakora yesterday which was too delicious, I want to try it again. Sweets have also very good taste as I tried kaju barfi, it was so yummy.

Normally this is a goto place for me to get Indian take out food. However, I am deeply disappointed to see the detoriation in quality of fish poakors. I called the restaurant to convey the same, they another fresh order to remedy the situation.

Ordered dhal and 3 naans plus 1 naan comes with dhal, so total of 4 naans. They just gave 2 naans. When called the girl who answered the phone wouldn’t even believe me. Why would I even waste my time calling if the order is not correct and I paid for it. Argued with me, later said ok come back and will give you the naans. Now we have to waste our gas to go back to pick up naans and in the meantime the dhal is getting cold. Please do double check peoples order before giving because ppl don’t have time to open and check order right away at the restaurant. We trust restaurants. Thank you for your understanding.

Food was disgusting. It was stale.
Very POOR customer service. The girl working at the front was on phone. She didn't care who is entering the store. Very rude and arrogant atitude towards customers. She didn't even know how to reply back to greeting. She Ignored customers.

Garbage Food. Nobody should buy from here. I brought 4 pounds fish pakora. It was disgusting. Bad smell and tons of oil in it. I feel like they never change their oil from fryer. I am going to take this to alberta health service.

We order food from this restaurant and I noticed they took our leftovers Even we paid all ready! And they negotiators their prize! They charge me 100 people for 2000 and my neighbour only 1600 hundred what a huge difference! Please be aware if you orders from them!

My wedding guests enjoyed everything, the food was set up on time and everything was hot and fresh. The portion sizes were larger than expected for the price we paid. Fantastic food and professional service, we are now life long customers.

WORST customer service ever, I ordered food from them on 18th July and it was 3 items Fish Pakora, Chicken and some naan and missi roti.
First when we opened the Fish we noticed a weird smell in whole room and finally found that it was coming from Salad which they give with fish and it was all full of SLIME and the fish is also ROTTEN and feels like it was just some leftover pieces.
Then we moved on to Missi Roti and it was all black and burnt.
This is not the first incident like this …. We have called them earlier as well and this time too. But never received any back call from them. I request everyone if they do care about their health please do not order anything from them.

The food was really discusting, just the wastage of money and time. I ordered chaat with bhalla and one samosa. Tge taste if the chaat was zero jusg with big pieces of potatoes. No dahi, no onions on the top and no knowledge of the sauces. The samosa was also like the chaat, just the potatoes only without any taste of samosa.

I had gone in for dine in and they present me the menu with prices on it. I order chicken tikka roll, a can of pop and Kachori. After I am done eating I head up to the front to pay the bill. According to the menu presented to me during the dine in I should have been charged $11+gst (less than a dollar) but the waitress was charging me $17. When I ask why? She says there is an extra charge for dine in which I was not told about until I went up to clear the bill. After an argument with her she charged me according to the menu presented but I feel if I wouldn’t have checked the bill or the prices in the menu I would have gotten cheated. Never going back again. Disappointed by the service. Beware while paying your bills at this place.

Fresh and tasty Indian food. This place is located in the Palika Bazaar. There is free parking space in front of the restaurant. They have two entrances one for the take out orders and the other for the restaurant in dining area. I have been fortunate to have had only good and fast service. The food is traditionally Punjabi/Indian food and reasonably priced. They make their own Indian sweet too and it's good.

While the food standards are good, the customer is made to wait for a long time for it. When I have arrived on time to pick up the food parcels, I have always waited another 45 mins. On enquiring about the time delay, all they say is 'your food is ready, just needs to be packed' or 'the curries are packed, just finishing up the rotis'. Not looking forward to ordering again.

Pictures say it all. Not going back. Soya Champ was DISGUSTING served with no sauce. Samosa Chaat was MUSHY and tasted soo oily. Told the sever and she responded we will still have to pay for it even though the food was as full as u can see in the pictures. I refused to pay as we barely had more than 2 bites of each. Chef came out and was so defensive. Said this is how they make it. Disappointed.

I ordered chat I'm am very much disappointed with this. I have never seen such dry chat only matar. Dahi hega hi nhi c. Sukha peya c chat. ਮਟਰ ਗਿੱਲੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਦਹੀ ਨਾਲ। ਸੁੱਟਣਾ ਪਿਆ ਸਾਰਾ ਚਾਟ।

Great customer service. Person who works on the front desk is professional and courteous. Food tastes good, good value for money. Only issue I have had there is sometimes waiting queue is not super organized. No other issues.

Order pani puri from them the worst pani ever i got from this place when i went to ask for better they refused and said thats all we got had to throw 2 orders of pani puri in trash such a rude customer service and waste of money.

Not authentic Indian order a karahi paneer but it was with lots of gravy eat this kind of karahi paneer first and last time waste of money.

Use to be really good. Now every time we order from here.there is always something wrong with the order. And when called to confront regarding complaints they either make some lame excuse or say “it won’t happen again”. We pay good money for food but it’s not worth it if it’s not even good or fresh or can’t make the order right.

I ordered Gol gappa from this place for a party. They absolutely do not know what Gol gappa is and only order if you want to disappoint yourself. The Gol gappa here is such that the masala is made out of boiled potatoes and chhole chickpeas, and mint water which is supposed to be minty and spicy is sweet. It was a disappointment to me!

I tried this restaurant and the food is too delicious, perfect spices and I would definetely recommend this place for Indian food.
It is perfect price with perfect quantity.

Super quick service. I live 5 minutes from the place and I order right before I leave. By the time I get there the order is ready to go. Can't complain! The food is also good they don't cheap out and save ingredients when making there food, everything is fully and nicely stuffed.

The food was great, had the Chicken Handi and the order was ready on time. They have safety measures in place in the takeout area. We were there Sat. Nov. 21,2020 around 6: 30 pm but as we were waiting for our 3 Males walked in to their Dine in section past the pick up counter without masks. I did not like this it might impact my decision to go there. I wear a mask to not just protect myself but protect those around me in public places. But there are some people who don't see this as a priority, and one of those males walking in without a mask was a Punjabi Realtor from our community. Too bad I didn't have my phone camera on. Anyways I hope the Management looks into this matter.

Good quality and price is reasonable. Their samosas are really good. Would highly recommend for quick snacks and food.

I placed an order on skip the dishes for 3 orders of mixed sweets and I made a note saying “put them in fancy BOXES (plural) ”. I bought these sweets to give to my family for Diwali and when i received my order I got all three orders in one box and when I called the restaurant stating that I needed them in 3 separate boxes they told me that when I placed the order I needed to call them and tell them that I needed them packed all separately even though I specifically said “put them in fancy BOXES”. It was a waste of my money and now I have to go buy sweets from elsewhere in THREE SEPARATE BOXES.

The sweets and snacks offered here are delicious and I ordered a samosa after I already had 2 because they were so mouth savouring. Woyld love to order from here again.

I ordered chhole kulcha which I really liked it and there are wide variety of sweets available so it's difficult to choose which one to buy. I ordered gulab jamun for dessert.

I ordered the food from here and what a delicious parathas they have giving sort of deja vu. Their services are good. I would recommend everyone to visit atleast once here.

Went to Little India DĺID NOT EAT 80% Of food and left hungry Lack of any taste and was not prepared well and not following proper Covid protocol. People use to go for buffet before which may of been a good deal but after Covid Restaurant has gone downhill totally.

Went to New Indian Sweets & Restaurant (PALIKA BAZAAR) which was smaller but after this bad experience and was a 100 times better SERVICE AND QUALITY with Great service and Taste.

This is one of the best Indian restaurant I've come across in all of Canada, and I've been to quite a lot. Quality of food, quick service, friendly employees, and the ambiance- everything felt just right. 10/10 would recommend!

Very very very bad and poor food. I ordered Hakka noodles but my God, taste was so disgusting.it seemed I was eating just hot black pepper. No taste, nothing. Never ever think about going there again.i had to dump it into the garbage. Very disappointed to waste my money and gas

Very bad and useless services.very disappointed.illiterate people working over there.can’t take the orders in a proper and in a nice way.very confusing people and don’t understand properly to the customers.poor communication skills, lack of knowledge.treat customers in a bad way.the girl at the cashier till is superb confusing and full of attitude.which is not acceptable at all.not happy with the service and overall very very disappointed.never ever recommend to anyone.

I got the food from here. It was really good. I really enjoyed it. I came here very first time and customer service was really good. Harjot at the front helped me a lot with the order. They are having best customer service and the sheets are so cooperative. I would recommend everyone to come here.

The food was real good. Garima was really helpful with the choices and even offered sweets for the starters as a treat. Would definitely recommend it.

This place is nice and clean. There was a bit of lineup when I got here. Food tasted great but they did mess up my order (wrong dish). When I tried to tell them they hangup my phone. Hence I will think twice if and when I go back and obv. Double check my order before I pickup.

Today we called in around 5’sh and the lady pick up the call, we were just in the mid of our ordering she eventually hung up on us. After that we called in 4-5 times almost, every time she pick up the call after that when we trying to speak she hung up on us. Whoever picked up the call has the poor customer service. If there would be rating for O star i would love to give O star to that lady. If you don’t like to talk on phone then why are you standing nearby the phone. Apparently, If you have the phone then you have to talk too. Use some common-sense at lest.

Bland samosas, hardly any salt ir spice. Rude staff, doesn't know customer service at all. Never again. Stay away from this place

Order food during function. They have forget to sent some curry. When i ask for return, they offer me discount on next order no refund at all. And they start talking very rudley when i already pay 900 $ for food.not recomend to any one.
