The service is always phenomenal and their dim sum is top notch! I even do a Chinese food combination dinner once in a while and that is also delicious…. Oh and the coconut buns are to die for!

Don't understand why people can give them such a high review in Google that's why I went to this place at first time. Than I got food poisoning after this meal. Dimsum tast not fresh such as shrimp dumplings, some were over cook and plain, some were over seasoning, staem pork rib tast like rubber. Just go west jumbo seafood restaurant to have the right Dimsum if you looking for good food.

i’ve been coming to this restaurant with my family ever since i was 4 so around 13 years! Always have loved the food and the owners are very kind and fast.

We have been lunching here for 20 years. Lots of choices for Dim Sum. Decor is minimalist. Formica tables, stackable chairs and there is no longer cart service but still enjoyable and often packed.

I was here the other day. I enjoyed the dim sum. The lady was very nice to me and my women. I been here a couple times already and I will come back.

Standards have fallen! I used to love dimsum here but last experience was not good. Most items were lacking flavor. Pork in the dumplings were chewy/fatty bits. Although not busy, service was still slow.

Family favourite. Consistently good food and food is fresh. Noodle wrapped shimp are excellent. Owner is great knows many of her regulars and service always prompt.

The food is amazing and the owners are the kindest people you'll ever meet. I go for lunch every now and again and they always surprise me with something new and delicious to try.

This is the best Dim Sum in the city I’ve been eating here for over 15 years and have never had a bad meal. The service is phenomenal always making sure you have everything you need. I would highly recommend trying this place out!

Ordered dim sum for the first time, threw it all out. Curry squid was sitting in yellow water, didn't even look or taste like squid. Sticky rice was slimy with a dog food esque meat. Pork dumplings flavorless and gross. Would not recommend

First time here, we ordered 5 items and tea for a total of 39 bucks which included a well deserved 20% tip.
So fresh so much and so good!
Our new favorite dim sum breakfast place.
Park on the street with city of ed for 3 bucks for 2 hrs because impark is 6 bucks per hour.

The dim sum is always fresh and tasty, been going here for decades and there are more than just Western customers coming here.depends when you go.

I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a toddler, so I write this review with bias, but New Tan Tan has by far the best dim sum selection in the City of Edmonton.

The business is family owned, by individuals who take the time to greet, attentively serve and get to know their clientele, the food selection, preparation and taste delivers with consistency, and the environment is one where you can enjoy your meal/shared meal with friends, a family gathering or collective colleges without feeling like you’re being rushed out of the door. During the week and later in the days on weekend you’ll be tasked with ordering off their menu, but if you arrive before noon on the weekends the staff wheels around food items to select for your dim sum dining.

If you’re visiting Edmonton or just enjoy dim sum, definitely give New Tan Tan a try.

The service, the staff, the food, always exceptional every time. This is one of my favorite Dim Sum places to eat at.

We went there on Friday Aug 14.the food was good but they need to have help for the server.attention was lacking

The dim sum wasn't fresh at all

Chicken feet tasted moldy
Chasiu Bao sticky rice Shao mai was all frozen and tasted like whatever else was in the freezer

Chao fun was soggy and nasty, I'm actually not even sure what they did to it

Ate maybe a 10th of the food and threw the rest out

I have not been here for a few years, but it was a family go to place for years before that. The food was nothing like I remeber. The flavours and preparation were not good. I will not be back.

We just ordered dinner from this restaurant. The dishes, came with very little meat, and lots of vegetables which was sad to see as we ordered meat dishes and not a vegetarian dish, plus we spent $75.00. The food came in styrofoam and all the sauce from the various dished spilled in the plastic take out bags. Waste of money, our time, and the food was not good. Next time we will order from BLUE WILLOW.

I live this place, the food, and most importantly the staff and owners. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Their beef chow fan is a true gem. The peppy brown sauce is so rich and flavourful. I normally have a couple of go-to places, but I'll have to add this one to my list.

Great experience sharing a meal with my family. Unfortunately, my 1st time trying chicken feet. Soggy and gamey. We sent the first order back and the 2nd order was not as soggy but gamey. Other than that everything else was tasty!

Run of the mill decent food. Not what I was hoping for from the reviews but still nothing to be upset with.

My favourite dim sum place. Been coming here since I was a kid. The owner is very friendly and we will continue to eat here as long as we can! The ginger beef balls and the curry squid are my favourites.

I eat in this nice place often! This is my favorite restaurant to grab a bite. I visit this place frequently. The meals are excellent, the staff members are helpful and the rates are good. I enjoy being in this restaurant to have a decent dinner.

It’s a decent place for dim sum if you’ve had dim sum a couple times. But if you’ve been to enough places to know what you like, this might not be the place to go. Not saying it’s the worse dim sum place. But there is definitely better. It’s not the busiest place and the service reflects that as well. The food is good but not great. If you’ve never tried dim sum before and want to ease into it then here’s a good starter place.

Good Dim Sum, but limited roll-out selections as the restaurant was not very busy. You could order what you wanted, though, so we got a good lunch of our favourites.

Love this place! They have the friendliest staff and the food is always hot and delicious. Always accommodating and just the best place in the city for dim sum:)

Really good food. Had a bunch of dim sum dishes and they were all excellent. Ate spring rolls, bbq beef, pork buns, sticky rice and more. Once you go a few times, the staff remember you, great service. If you want western style Chinese food, they do have a menu with combo dishes to order from to. Very reasonably priced too.
