Newcastle Pub & Grill

Stopped in for lunch new years day ordered monte Cristo with soup, soup and sandwich good. Sandwich would've been better if they didn't forget to put the turkey on it, so I basically had a grilled ham & cheese

Prices a bit high considering. Got upsold on things without warning. When someone asks for a side salad and you offer caesar or garden, maybe mention the caesar surcharge is almost 5 dollars and the garden is no charge. Then when someone asks you what the drink specials are and you say happy hour is cheaper domestics and they order coor banquets, maybe let them know thats the only coors thats classified as an import. Pretty steep for what you get. Server wasn’t overly friendly until you’re looking at the debit machine and suddenly a chatterbox. Food was decent though. Not in a rush to go back.

The last time we were at this pub with out of town family, the waitress approached us and commented on the lack of tip for the price of our bill literally as we were discussing the cash tip we were going to leave her at our table. She said I just need to say that you didn't tip very well for the cost of your bill. Pardon me? #1, you do not come at a customer about a tip. This is not a requirement although we had no intention of not appropriately tipping. It was rude and coming at customers like that shouldn't be something this business tolerates. After that interaction she was lucky we left her an over 18% tip. We do not plan on ever returning to this business. Get better waitresses with higher class than that.

Nice pub, wish we had one like this in our neighborhood, this is a bit far away for us. Went there to treat our youngest son's 23rd birthday!

Steak & eggs jumped up $5! That’s almost 30%! AND you now have to pay for coffee refills. I won’t be back. Go to Lumberjacks where the prices are still reasonable, or better yet, Tasty Toms. Both 5-8 min away

Do not work here. Management is horrid and does not care about you. I wasnt trained by the manager but I was trained by other servers. This led to me being left confused about policies and ultimately fired over it. You have to tip out the kitchen, bar AND the house 2% of your total sales. Leaving you with only 2/3 of your tips, (if that). There is a 5$ cover charge that you must charge guests after 7 pm certain days, even if the guests have been there for multiple hours prior to 7pm. People understandably argue against this and it becomes your problem to deal with. There was hair in the food a few times as well. This establishment is losing money because the food is mediocre and they are greedy in every way possible. I was told the "house tip out" was to help if somebody walked out on their bill among other things but I had to pay 115$ from my own tips after a member from the party of one of the bands playing walked out. Steer FAR away from this gross, greedy pub. Current employees are looking for other jobs and I understand why.

Best eggs Benny, great coffee and wonderful staff.
Tough to access with LRT construction, but many folks find it worth the effort to dine we'll. See you soon

Waitress was pleasant but the daily special was oversaturated with BBQ sauce and the middle of the meat was cold obviously it was microwaved

Stopped in for a quick drink. The bar layout was nice and open. The bartender was attentive and knew how to mix a drink. The live band had finished its second song when I had to leave. The band and drinks were so good I wish I could've stayed. I'll go back again just to be able to stay for a full show.

DEEEEEELICIOUS FOOD! Breakfast especially, but the food I have has here has always hit the spot! Terrific steak sandwich as well!

I used to go to this place when it was called sportsmans bar. The new revamp is very nice and all the staff is friendly. Great lunch spot

Tried the Newcastle Burger today. It was ok but a little disappointed of the sauteed mushrooms sauce. I love their club sandwich with fries and Pizza. Got to try it if u got a chance.

Amazing pizza, next day pizza is my thing so 4 star next day pizza.live music is sometimes a bit loud but thats live music for yea! Servers/ bartenders are top knotch!

We order from here almost weekly. We have tried so many things and every single thing that we have tried is absolutely amazing! I am so impressed with the portions and the prices. This place is the poster child for amazing pub food! Highly recommend. I may need to buy shares in the company soon lol.

I've eaten here on many occasions and I also frequently pick up food orders as well. The food is always good and you get what you pay for.

My partner & I always enjoy ourselves at your pub! Last night was good. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the band was a little hard to dance to. We found them to be more like a sit back concert type of band. We still enjoyed ourselves, though!

Good food and entertainment. Very lively atmosphere and a good crowd. I'll be back for sure
