This place is must do when in Lethbridge. Especially for the winter festival of lights display. The Cafe and restaurant are very clean and bright. The washroom has to be one of the cleanest in the city.
Lots of parking and it's free.

Lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour by Chris. He is very knowledgeable and engaging with real life experience. The garden was spectacular. We learned interesting facts. Good history lessons as well.

Very beautiful and run by great people who actually care about their jobs which is rare in this day and age

DOGS IN THIS SERENE, PEACEFUL PLACE? WHY? IT'S NOT A DOG PARK! SOME WOMAN HAD NO CONTROL OF HER DOG YESTERDAY, AND IT JUMPED ON ME AND KEPT LICKING ME WHERE IT SHOULDNT. OH SOWWEE WAS HER RESPONSE. SHORTEN THE LEASH, RATHER, IF YOU CAN'T LEAVE YOUR PET AT HOME TO GO TO THE ZEN AND PEACEFUL PLACE, STAY HOME. IT'S NOT A DOG PARK. I JUST BOUGHT SEASON PASSES, I'M COMING TO GET A REFUND! HOW RIDICULOUS!

A Garden Of Friendship. Friendship between Two Countries, between Two Cultures and Two Communities defining Collaboration. Japan and Canada. This garden was made a couple of decades after the Second World War ended.
The greenery and the beauty of this place is unique in its own right. I would give full marks to the people and organisations maintaining this lovely place.

In my opinion, the best time to visit is during the lights festival but this is place holds a special place in my heart and I often visit it more during the warmer months. A must see attraction for anyone visiting.

Came to Lethbridge for family and business trip, so I searched what we could do in the city. This place popped up. When I was here, I enjoyed learning the history between Canada and Japan that I never knew about. My great grandpa was a Japanese so I keen to learn more. However, honestly the admission is little too much, but I keep trying to understand that the maintenances of this place need lots of work. Nice souvenir shop and cafe. I wish there was an authentic Japanese restaurant in the area as well, or activities where you can learn japanese cultures, like Origami, tea making, basic greetings, ikebana, caligraphy etc.where the visitors can learn on the spot. With the additional charge upfront on the admission, example: $20/person for admission with 1 activity, $23 for 2 activities. Just my idea, since the garden is really small so it wouldn't be too 'boring' to some people especially children.

This place is so serene! The place for you to meditate specially early in the morning with lesser crowd. A very quiet and nice place to be in a crowded city.
