Nixx Neighbourhood Pub

Came here for a study session with a class buddy of mine. We both ordered the beef and pulled pork tacos. Decent tasting food but apparently they like to ration the cheese. Good pool table with pinball and arcade machines. Service was up to standards and the atmosphere was friendly. Would come again.

The mozzarella sticks were obviously from frozen. It was nasty. The server was not friendly at all. She obviously did not want to be there. I am definitely never coming back anymore.

This is a great small town style pub. But don't let the size fool you. This place has some of the best wings I've tasted in town, no joke! The server was great, and it's a great, upbeat atmosphere! Did I mention the wings! Check these folks out on your next wing night excursion!

Usually here for lunch but decide to come by for late night drinks and food. Was ok busy and only1 waitress at front of house handling entire restaurant.

Wings were fine, pasta was fine, drinks were good. Service was ok - nothing spectacular - no smiles, borderline minimum.

Nice friendly pub with good food and specials every day, nice staff and fast service, had a great drink and supper. Back again for beer and supper was great again will be back for sure next time I am in Calgary

I had my VLT payout of $100,75 stolen from my table by the server while she delivered our food, larger girl with tattoos. The last thing you expect when visiting an establishment is to be robbed, the regulars and staff seem to be in cahoots when confronted. Without going into details, it was followed to the liquor store next door. The blonde server who was in charge was mortified, but you could see it in her face that this is a regular occurrence and there was nothing she could do about it.

Customer of 13 years. Met with some friends on Saturday Aug. 26th, 2023. Check# 205374. Bill was $153.56 and I added $30.71 for a tip. After I had paid, 4: 23 pm, my friend and I decided we wanted some more drinks. I went to the bar and asked the bar tender for a crown and coke and a rusty nail. Long black hair and a major attitude. She was extremely rude and acted like I had asked her something inappropriate. I don't appreciate being looked down upon when I had spent almost $200 in your establishment today. I called back to register a complaint and I got more attitude from the same bar tender. You have lost a customer forever. Hope you're happy. Whenever I am meeting up with friends who live in the area, I will be sure to take them to another bar. Was it worth it?

Worst place for any activity. One of the waitresses decided it was a good idea to change the channel in the middle of a match and was very disrespectful when asked what was happening. Avoid this place.

Great little patio to hang out. Awesome service! Plus the food and drink specials really fit the bill:)

Service was horrendous. The server seemed intoxicated. Food was the opposite of fresh. Our pizza was over cooked. Server kept forgetting to bring our bill. Wasted our time. Will not return or recommend.

I witnessed her talking about people ask for change for the pool table. I canceled my food order because I couldn't support the way they were acting.
And I used to be regular when I lived in the neighborhood.
No one looked comfortable.

It was wing night and it was good
Only negative was a drunk patron who wouldn't leave us alone
We informed staff and they dealt with situation

Deep fried pickles were delicious. Had big rock on tap. Next time will have to try pizza special as guy at bar recommended

Nice little pub, the patio was nice and the service was good. I found it to be mostly for neighborhood people.

The food was fine, I had the buffalo chicken wrap, I wish there was more chicken though. Didn’t have high hopes. Fries were standard, good. Waitress was nice.

Our server, Angela didn't seem happy to be working today. No thank you, no smile. We felt like she didn't want to be there.

Food (nachos) were ok, nothing more.

Great experience all around! Staff are friendly, prices are fair. Would definitely recommend.

Tried to walk in the front door, it was locked. Went in the side door. Commented to waitresses door was locked. Her response was well now one uses it anyway. Didn't give me confidence on the food. I walked out.

Very local bar. Friendly staff. Lots of high chair tables, outside patio, pool table, slot machines. Loved it and will go there again.

Great neighborhood pub, exactly what I'm looking for when I think of that. Last time I visited I had the beef dip and salad, a bit small but on a nice soft bun with flavourful aus jus. Have been quite a bit over the years, mind you mostly for drinks, never been disappointed.

Pizza with the honey on it is so good! Big Mamma Mia! Friendly staff, VLT's. Beer cold!

I've had everything on the menu over the years, and I haven't been dissapointed once!
