This place used to be in Chinatown. It was really good and now they moved to a new location in southside. Still as good as I remember! The people who run it are so kind and I love being able to pick my meat, veggies and broth! They also have prebuilt options too if you wanted.
You can’t go wrong with any of the broth but I love the sheep broth!
Diner feel.:) The best part? The people who run this most amazing noodle emporium. Great menu offerings. Build your soup starting with various broth bases. Add your noodle style, protein choice, etc. Mild to “watch people sweat” spice levels available.
I had the Wonton noodle soup. It was pretty good but also slightly pricey. The congee was good as well. About $1-2 more than most places. At least when you pay cash here. They give you 5% discount. I'll be back soon, to try out the rice bowls. Heard it's delicious.
I'm always happy to find another noodle restaurant! It was quite busy when we were there however food was promptly served. I was impressed with the Curry laksa as it was as flavourful as in Southeast Asia. The satay soup was a little bland. We will be back to try the other items on the menu.
I went here after recommendation by a friend and the food was excellent! The pork belly was super tender and the portions were very generous, with add ons actually being added on! We added drinks to our noodle bowls and my Hong Kong milk tea was delicious as well, not too sweet. The servers were very attentive and the additional condiments were very clean and were all topped up, which I appreciate. This is definitely a must-try, especially on a cold winter day!
I'm from Calgary but I HAVE to go here every time I come to Edmonton. The curry laksa soup is my absolute favorite and the service here is amazing. I love everything about this restaurant!
If your craving for spicy food, this one’s legit! my sibs love the noodle so much especially the beef brisket. Were wondering where are the flavors coming from. Highly recommended!
2nd time visiting. Food was good, lots of variety and options on the menu. Portions were also really good for the price. Service was fast and friendly! Would definitely go back again and again:)
This is a true noodle shop where they do a good job specializing in various types of oriental noodles. I especially like their various versions of delicious soups to complement your choice of toppings and noodles. Their spicy soups are my favorites and they go well with their nicely prepared beef brisket which are quite tender and juicy. Portions are adequate and prices reasonable. It is one of the hidden gems in the Chinatown district
Great Noodles! Fast. Good service for chinese a restaurant. (I'm Chinese btw) Location and parking is undesirable, but totally worth it for the noodles! Yep yep
Best staff! She remembered me from 3 years ago visiting from our of town. Very tentative, knows I can't eat too hot and gave me a cup of ice cubes. Gave me extra cilantro as well! I always visit her every single time I stop in Edmonton!
They make great soup at this place. Lots of options for different noodles, meats and vegetables, can get it mild or super hot, the green onion cakes are tasty too.
Our favorite noodle soup place, maybe even favorite restaurant in Edmonton! Service is always great and the food is amazing. The sheep broths are a must try, but everything is amazing here! Been eating here since it was Tao Garden. Thank you for the amazing good and memories throughout the years!
Good option for a quick and cheap bite in Chinatown. I like the flexibility of choosing my own ingredients. Portions are generous but soup base could use a bit more flavour.
Saw this resturant while driving by China town and saw the high ratings and decided to give it a try. This restaurant seems very similar the Tao garden which also offers build your own soup from other poster's pictures. If I were to compare the two, I say the portions are similar (was hoping for a bigger portion because Tao garden seems to have shrunk its portion size) and they don't include a hot drink in the price but have to add a dollar for hot and 2 dollars for cold. They do have a couple different broths and I feel the beef brisket is thicker here (which I like). I will probably try it again after a little while, probably the little sheep broth, which was my favorite.
Tasty soup, you can pick your broth, noodles and your toppings or you can order off the menu. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is small, clean and bright. I would recommend this place. Free parking in the back but it is limited.
This is a great build-your-own noodle soup place! $12.99 for the soup with choice of broth, noodle, and 2 proteins. This time, I got pork bone broth soup with Vietnamese pork and basa, and shanxi noodles, and it was great! My friend had wontons in her’s and said they were really good too!
Very tasty soup! Lots of choices, but would have liked a couple of pre-made combination selections to help figure out what to try. Very good experience nonetheless.
You build your own bowl of soup here, by choosing a broth, noodle type and 2 or more things to put in the soup. I enjoyed my selection, and the Vietnamese spring rolls on the side were hot, crispy, and delicious!
I have to say when a new noodle shop opens up in Edmonton I’m always excited to try t but often they are just the same as the next one. Not Noodleholic they make an amazing soup, I personally tried the extremely spicy version and man it was actually spicy. So much flavour I’m going back for-sure you should check it out.
