A majority of the international students are really loud and obnoxious. It's hard to study or read in the library. Even during class, you can hear people gather in the halls raising their voices. They really need to enforce it better because it's disrespectful to instructors and students. It's really overcrowded here, It's hard to navigate throughout the school with people standing in the middle of doorways and the hallway to chat with each other instead of sitting somewhere more appropriate.

I have paid my tution before due date and as per the condition of offer letter i have sent my transcript and it was delivered on but, i don't get any response from their addmission team in this regards. Moreover, they didn't issued my acceptance letter till now. So, i suggest all international students to maintain distance from this college.if you don't do so you will going to fall in trap like me. Will result in time wastage as well as delay in visa application procedure.

I think you will take suitable action to fasten your poor customer service support.

Am so pleased with the services Mr Ishmeet offered me when i came at the college to work on my student loan very patient and understanding he takes you through all the steps and explaining everything so you are able to understand. He was patient with me and it gave me a sense of belonging as a student at norquest even what I don't know I was able to ask him and he explained everything well. Thanks Mr Ishmeet

Student Advisors don't reply to emails in a timely fashion. Even with added time to their 5 business day timeframe. Their lack of communication or accountability impacts your ability to receive the proper kind of funding!

I was so stressed about my student loans before my appointment but when I saw the financial advisor, Ishmeet, he was very through in telling me all the details about the loans and grants and also helped me all the way with my application step by step, it was like he held my hand and walked me through it! 100%recommeneded to see him if you have any finance related question.

Good college. Administration is so slow. One tip, hire some students for administration purpose, they have equally good if not better computer skills and can empathise with other students. They would be fast at work too.

I applied to the NorQuest College. I sent a few emails with some questions, however they don't respond. They say they will respond to the email within four business days however the first email was sent on August 19th,
And to this day I haven't received a reply.
My deadline for completing the to-do list is September 6th and so far I don't even have a response.

I applied for mahine technology 5weeks ago still no response from admission team nothing they didn’t even send me a confirmation email that my application is submitted now they are not even replying my emails zero stars from me

This school will scam you by telling you that you need to pay $900 in late fees which you have already paid months ago. They will then deny any proof of payment that you show until their bluff has been called. Outrageously greedy school looking to find a way to make money off students who would have been scared and paid it.

Honestly, I’ve had a great experience at this college. The applying process is super simple and easy with my high school transcript. My program AP has allowed me to learn such valuable skills like accounting, excel, communication, relationships, etc. Signing up for courses is easy as well as the tuition cost is reasonable, however doubled for international students as usual. Teachers have always been friendly and happy to help, same with the students. I’ve made good memories here and made great friends too! The overall atmosphere of this place is a warm feeling, the school isn’t the biggest but it has all the resources and accommodations such as computer lab, private rooms, library, bathrooms, etc, needed. There is also a Pizza 73, Subway, and Tim Hortons here too.

Let this place be the last choice for you, they are unorganized, slowly proceed, unprofessional, and what they care is only getting money from new students. If you wish to have a bright future please go to NAIT or Bow Valley college instead.

Not impressed at all. I applied for academic upgrading and they said my marks were all good to move forward w the program. Two days later I get an email saying my math isn't sufficient. Clearly they don't read transcripts thoroughly so I can only imagine how the rest of their programs are run. Huge red flag there.

There is not point in taking academic upgrading here because the marks are not registered with Alberta Education, therefore you grades are for nothing. The grades should be registered with Alberta Education so that this marks are counted for your High School diploma.

One the worst run organizations I have ever encountered. I truly fear the quality of care today's nurses (LPNs) provide in Alberta after witnessing the low quality education recieved at this school. From the adminstration to the teachers and course material, Norquest "college" is a disorganized mess.

The online delivery is especially terrible, providing minimal support to students - who are literally given no lectures through their "learning".

Enroll in Bow Valley College, at least they have online lectures and teachers who care about their students.

Suyen Silva at Norquest college wrote a bad review about our company when she was never a customer and never used our snow removal service. It is so disappointing that she would stoop to this level. This shows here true character. Based on this we would not recommend anyone going to this college if this is the type of people that represent them.

Worst school with worst service ever, tried to get details of LPN course, non of them in phone is helpful and they don’t even know many things. The email is just pranking. It’s more than a week I have send a question. No response! Thanks to show me your original policy before I join! Saved my money!

Good school but the restaurants here-tim hortons, pizza 73 have the absolute rudest workers I have ever experienced. I don’t understand how they can hire workers like that who have ZERO customer service skills. They almost refused to give me back the correct change when I asked for it, I feel like they did it on purpose so they could keep my change for themselves. And multiple times at tim hortons the workers are yelling at customers in such rude loud tones and today while waiting in line I looked away for a second only for the worker to yell HELLO? !? !? At me only for me to go up there and then she ignored me for a minute to do other stuff that could have been done later. Not impressed that restaurants at a college would try and keep change from students who most of the time do not have much money.

Before Submission of assignments your some of the instructors never give you right direction. When it comes to marking they give you tons of right feedbacks. Seems like they want students to last for more years in their college just to pay more tuition fee. I hope they understand student's are at learning stage if you give them right direction before submission nothing will loss by you. Students do their work themselves they don’t ask you to do their work just give right feedback what needs to be done more so at-least students can pass. It will motivate them they will keep your college in priority for recommendations, but if you continue to do that students will get demotivate and never ever let anybody in from there knowns. Please stop making fun with our futures let us learn.

Trying to do high school upgrading. Terrible. Literally the worst process to get assistance for financial funding and meeting with a Student Navigator. Student portal is NEVER working. If I call I'm sent to 10+ different people on the phone who don't know what they are doing. TERRIBLE!

I wanted to set an appointment but no one was there to help me. Even student navigator do not know how to help. I sent an email but got no reply and some email addresses were found wrong! No one is there to help you when you are in problem and if you go to instructors they will keep forwarding you to someone else!

Waiting times are shorter then expected. Student Navigator are there to help as well as they can. Worth a visit

Got into a car accident and they said that’s like having an excuse not coming in because of a hangover then kicked me out this place is a joke

This school is a joke. It takes 3-4 years to finish a 2 year program because they over fill the classes, so there is not enough space for everyone.

There have been some difficulties with getting into certain courses throughout this year. We used to be able to register for our own classes which made things easier for students. This year things changed and we needed to enrol through the Office of the registrar. This made things a little complicated, and made it challenging to receive proper student funding. There has been some disorganization in a few classes I’ve taken which made learning a little more difficult. It also can be hard to reach people at certain times in regards to financials. The school itself is a nice, big, clean facility and the atmosphere is friendly. I just would recommend more resources for students, especially ones who have challenging health complications.

It’s been very disappointing and frustrating here. Teachers are so unorganized, they aren’t helpful. They do the bare minimum and most don’t even care if you do well or not. If you offer a hyflex program EVERYTHING should be able to be done ONLINE. I’ve had the worst instructors, they don’t explain anything well or actually teach anything. I’ve had to rely on YouTube videos and other online information to teach myself. I will be trying to transfer to another college for my second year. I can’t handle the extra stress of having to teach myself. I’ve had one great instructor during a full year of attending there, Kathy Kimpton, she actually cared and went above and beyond. She put in the effort to help make sure her student’s succeeded. The rest seem to just be there to get paid, and it definitely shows! I regret not doing more research and reading all the bad reviews for this place. I really regret not applying at Nait instead. This place is a total waste of money!

The teachers are distinguished, the method of teaching is simple and easy to understand, its construction is beautiful, it has several floors, and on each floor there are several classrooms, with more than one place to sit, rest and read, there are four elevators and they are also very fast.

Been trying to reach a student advisor for 2.5 weeks. As a prospective student who has already submitted an application for a program this is concerning. Cannot say anything specific about the program itself or the school since I have not spoken to anyone despite my numerous attempts.

If I could give zero stars I would! 2 year program will take 4 years. Everyone passes the buck! It’s been nothing but hell for my 2 and many others. Please think twice about sending your child here. Waits of time, money and leaving these kids feeling defeated.

We are planning to bring our nephew to Canada for further studies and had tons of questions. Speaking with Gurleen Bhandohal was such a treat, She was so patient and not only answered our questions one by one but also walk us through their website. It was such a pleasure to speak with her today. She changed the way we look at Norquest College now.

If I could put zero stars, I would. I've had 3 decent teachers out of 7 courses. The school is very unorganized. I fell behind several classes because of it being so unorganized. Not having assignments up and than boom, you have an assignment due tomorrow. Teachers don't reply for days, or weeks if at all! Not to mention, I'm an online student and have done all my courses, assignments, exams online. I am out of province and figured I could do my exam online like usual! But no, it has to be in class which is ridiculous, anyway, I emailed FBET students to tell them and they didn't answer any of my questions they just said "I suggest you fill out this deferral form" so I did, and I was denied because of lack of documentation which I sent my itinerary. But it didn't explain why I am out of province when in all honesty, it's none of their business. So now, I am going to lose 40% of my grade because of something so ridiculous.

Absolute mess of a college. The service points are all a mess. If I need help with anything the people at the desks aren't able to help they try to find someone to help or tell me to book an appointment or email the library if appointment times don't work. There are never appointments the same day. If I'm working on an assignment I should be able to get help the same day and soon after I ask for help when I need help, not later that week. As students we pay a LOT of money to be a student. We shouldn't have to hope that we fit into the schedules of the people who supposedly are the only people who can help us.

Then there is the bookstore. WTH is up with that? We have to order books/course supplies online on a website that is not easy to use and arrange a pickup time. I don't have a credit card and had to borrow a family members and then pay them back. The bookstore never answers their phone and emails take forever for a response.

This is the really disappointing. I've been calling and every time I call I just get transfer to the next person, ALL THE TIME! If you need help you most likely have to send an email which takes them weeks to respond and when that time comes, it would be way to late to be able to get the help that you need.

I also phoned earlier and while stating my concerns, the person made it sound like it is my fault. Like, the problem I was concerning isn't even connected to what she's talking about. She couldn't even help me.

This is the worst college i have ever seen i am an international student here due to some technical issues i missed my exam instead of giving me any solution the instructor is not replying my any of emails. The college is not appropriate for international students. The only thing in which they are good is failing the students with no reason.

Mandatory vaccinations, hey you can still get covid! Your just asymptomatic! This does not protect the institution or have anything to do with protecting Norquest college! This just prevents the ICU from filling up! To be an institution and not have correct facts speaks abundance.

The day is not far when an International Student will commit suicide because of Norquest College. God bless all of International students who make money with blood and sweat and pay fees and then get exploited with irrelevant reasons.

I know someone from this collage and there are disgusted by how unorganized this place is.
They told me that they have to pay $15 just to redo the exam, because first the collage made her overload
her browser then after blamed it on her. People should be aware before entering this collage.waste of money.

This college will take money from international students and then stop answering their phone or emails. All their voicemails are full and they aren’t even replying to their representatives when students are stuck in India waiting for enrolment letters or even access to the portal so they could study online.

Do not waste your money here. I am currently an international student here and I have to take two extra semesters just to complete my one year course which was originally of two semesters. They cancelled two of my courses without any reason at all just two days before the semester starts and I emailed enrollment about this no answer till now. They just care about money and nothing else.

This school has been very disappointing. Everyone passes you off to the next person for "answers" after you wait an inconvenient amount of time, but you will get an answer after enough time has gone passed that you are now ineligible for any refunds or to change anything. A friend was brushed off over her concerns, they made it sound like it was her fault/problem (zero accountability) and they made it really hard for her to transfer credits from an Alberta University.

The process of signing up for classes is awful and confusing, you need to take the courses in the order they are laid out online otherwise you won't finish in the time they say it takes (so good luck if you work full time). I only have one school to compare NorQuest to, and it was 1000x easier and student focused than this school. Wish I went somewhere else. Live and learn I guess. I should have looked at the reviews before I wasted all this money.

I started the school year as an online student, now they have Hy-flex courses, the technology was only recently received at the school and the teachers don't know how to use it. The courses have started and we don't have access codes for the books. One of my instructors was told the day before that he had to teach this course. It is a complete mess.

They replied to this review more quickly than I have ever received a response about any issues I have had. Still waiting a week for anyone to respond to me after multiple attempts trying to email and call, only took two days to respond to this review, says a lot.

I have read all comments. I am writing letter to all IRCC and educational board. This college should be closed permanently. They give too much stress to student. And they don’t help anything. I hope they will get soon notice from canada education board.

Student navigation does not care about the students. They claim to be there to help but they do not answer their emails for weeks and if you call you are stuck waiting for hours to hear from someone. The school claims to have the students mental health as a top priority however they do not. The stress levels of finding and enrolling in the correct courses are through the roof and it is only increased by student navigation when they give the wrong information or when they tell you they can help just to be told later that they can not help.

The school needs to get better at their communication skills, because too much gets missed or it is misinformed.

Totally not a best place for International students. The motive of few instructors is to just fail and demotivate the students by not appreciating the piece of work they do. Even the faculty and others dont even respond to any of the emails and other concerns. They keep delaying which is very disheartening. They mentioned that here at this institution students are be heard and they are an important asset of the institution but all they play is unfair plots. Whatever the instructors says is the final decision and i dont think so listening to the students is mandatory for them.

This college is one of the worst education institution which only cares about money. To all the new comers i will not suggest this college to take part in. The only thing this college is best at is racism. In the class of full 40 students only 2 students are passed and ironic thing is all the failed ones are international students. No one cares about the students in this college.

Really disappointed with the instructor first of all college are close we can’t see them in person and the instructor took 3-4 weeks to reply back and it’s only 2 months course…. In one of my assignment she gave me zero and I emailed her regarding that but no reply for 3 weeks then I mailed the head of the course and she didn’t help me too …. And now after 4 weeks instructor put a misconduct on same assignment. That's how they help if you try to reach out to them …. I am so stressed don’t know what to do ….

Completely agree with all of the 1 star reviews. I attended norquest college in 2012 as a single parent. There were absolutely no supports to help you get through, no one to answer questions, etc. Fast forward to almost 10 years later and I am still having the same issues. The student navigators are not helpful, nor or they compassionate or even around to help you. No one in the school seems to know how to answer anything without directing you to someone else. This is the third year in a row I have just been given a run around. 10/10 would not recommend. Norquest is a joke.

Highly would NEVER recommend going here. I look esl here and it’s honestly pointless the teachers do everything in there power so you fail. We had to do an essay writing and I did it. The only mistake I had was a spelling error and I got a 92% and I asked her why and the teacher told me she just doesn’t give 100s just because we’re in ESL. How is anyone suppose to do good if the teacher refuses to give anyone full marks. NEVER go here it’s honestly a waste of your money

My experience with this school was not a good one. Teachers lack any decent communication. If you have any difficulty learning do not waste your time or money here as the teachers aren’t helpful at all. Wish I read the reviews before wasting my time here.

I have taken ESL evening with norquest for one year.was just not worth it I didn't gain any thing. I started with my test result I took from other institutions CLBA 7 and after a year working full time and evening classes three days a week each three hours, I had to take a test to know my results and the fuuny part I said okay I had learned a lot and I can get my CLBA 8 and that give me CLB A 6 ii ts just a joke. Now am so glad I quite and moved to MacEwan university, they are the best and knowledgeable I love each class with them. I had finished all that I needed within 4months and currently am taking my desired course. I don't advice any body to go norquest espicaly if black they have an issue with black.

I transfered to NorQuest college as a university student. During submiting my transfer credit application I faced some difficulties, but the college has very responsible staff and thanks to chief customer experience officer Matthew, I was able get my results much faster.

Instructors at Practical Nursing don't have knowledge on how to teach or in some cases, don't know what they teach entirely. Toss in some "issues" with students, apathetic staff and an all around terrible atmosphere for the student body, NorQuest is a true hell. Avoid this place like the plague. Literally anywhere else is better.

I paid full tuition for a HEAS1000 course with LPN instructors who DID NOT prepare lectures or lecture material, design or create assignments, mark or respond to tests and assignments. Where did my $700 go? I DON'T KNOW. But surely it wasn't toward my education.

NorQuest leadership doesn’t hire quality LPN instructors. Majority instructors are slow to mark assignments, extremely irresponsible at answering to student emails, and unqualified at designing learning material in Moodle.

Having not been able to settle things with them personally, I escalated to the department chair, and faculty head, neither of them really took me serious. Both of them protected them as though they were children who needed shielding from scrutiny, and did not in any way acknowledge that they were in fact not children, but lab instructors in a position of considerable power and influence. So, I was summarily brushed aside.

Cold and depressing as an LPN student. Bullied and ignored. For them it's just a business. Only your money matters.

Overall NorQuest is a LOW CLASS EXPERIENCE!

If you are planning to take a program there and if you are an immigrant do not do it. This school is a joke just want your money. They say they are inclusive however some instructors are so racist and if you complain about no ones is gonna be in your side.
