If I can give no stars I would. Very bad experience. They told me that there will be soft inquiries but they done 4 hard inquiries. No answering the phone and not replying to emails are very bad signs. Don’t go here. They have $1000 deposit. If they don’t return me this will be worse

I just had the most wonderful service experience here!
I brought my Mazda CX-5 in for a Winter tire swap, mount & balance, as well as a service.
Wyatt in service treated me with utmost care & respect, and they got my Raven CLEAN and all done several hours prior to my expectation.
The only thing that would have improved my exceptional service would have been to offer a shuttle service.

The worst service and attitude ever. I purchased my pre-owned vehicle from this dealership last year. The front bumper was defected, fog lights didn’t work, and also there were some glitches with the entertainment system that needed to be updated. The sales manager promised that they would fix it at no cost when I would bring my vehicle for oil change or any other service. During the last two weeks I have called many times to the service and to the sales manager directly to make an appointment for the oil change and to get everything fixed, also sent emails, but they are just ignoring me.

UPD.after their ridiculous response. I did not run into any pole, just wanted to get what was promised. Do not deal with those guys ever!

I purchased a 2021 Mazda CX-5 form North Hill Mazda last week! I can say It was the best purchasing experience ever in its type. First of all, I need to say that I was highly attracted by their website and how organized and informative it was (tabulated information suitable for visual people like me who don’t like to be bombarded with some random numbers or technical words). The second great thing about this dealership was its professional sales team. When I got there, I told them I don’t want to be pushed at all as most of the dealerships do and it won’t work on me and will push me away. I did not see any signs of being pushed to purchase a car from them. My case was taken care of by Mr. Ramiro De Leon, who is the most professional, knowledgeable, polite, and sociable salesperson I‘ve ever met! Thanks a lot Ramiro for doing such a wonderful job!

Poor customer service and dealers. They will show you a fancy price and after you purchase it you will see difference in overall deal that you made with them. We went for our trade in car appraisal. We made a deal of trade in value of $8000 with them. That was the only condition we bought the car from mazda because hyundai was giving us $7750 already. But today I got to know that they made a value of $7619 only! I asked Eric Jui if he would give us the best deal only then we would buy car from here. Otherwise we were getting pretty good deals from hyundai as well. Secondly we were told that we will get the remaining balance as a cheque. We were never told that mazda will put remaining balance towards new car. I clearly remember they made a fair price of the car and we agreed on it. Nobody told us that they were gona put the remaining price towards our trade in car. I'm not gona buy anything from here in the future.
Nothing went as we agreed. As I said they will give you two different informations before and after purchasing vehicle from them! Totally disappointed.

We just purchased a 2022 CX-5 from North Hill and the entire experience was phenomenal. We had the opportunity to meet and talk with many of the wonderful staff, from sales, financing, management etc. I have had several new vehicle purchases and I have honestly never been given such great service. The day we ordered the car we were given a tour of the dealership, introduced to all the staff that were there, taken and shown the service department. Even walked around outside and shown the best places to park if you need to come, or to just park in front of the main door and someone will come and park for you if the parking lot is a bit tight.
Last night we took delivery of the car and it was truly special. We were walked through all the features, got the Mazda app, Bluetooth and navigation set up. And then they topped it off with a little celebration with a confetti popper and music, and lots of pictures. Just so over and above what I’ve experienced at any other dealership in the past. I wholeheartedly recommend buying a Mazda from North Hill! Top to bottom great service and such a memorable experience!

SIX stars out of 5! We visited North Hill Mazda recently in our quest to purchase a new vehicle. The dealership had been recommended by a former customer who had recently purchased a vehicle and been very happy with the service.

We were extremely pleased with the personalized service, the time and especially the extra effort on our behalf from Donna, the Senior Product Advisor and David, the General Sales Manager.

I could not believe the helpful atmosphere and attitude of all staff at the dealership. Many pitched in to provide us with information, a comment or friendly hello.

Having worked with small businesses for many years, I was absolutely amazed at the focus, help and care given potential customers.

North Hill Mazda could also go into the business of teaching and training other businesses in service, sales, relationship development, follow-up and friendliness.

Whether you’re considering a Mazda or not, you should try this dealer and their vehicles! They are a first rate automobile dealer and VERY NICE people!

Amazing customer service from the whole North Hill Mazda team! Lots of thanks definitely goes out to David Sosa, whom went above and beyond to help find us the perfect car. From the first day we met him they were closing in 30 mins, but that didn’t bother him at all. He stayed with us almost an hour after closing, letting us test drive multiple CX-5 models, helping us work out numbers, and showing us potential cars that fell within our budget. He had a great sense of humour, not pushy at all, which made my boyfriend and I immediately comfortable. We had already visited a few other dealerships before this one and received the best experience from here. He was very responsive with messages and phone calls. In the end, we could not say no to him. He really put a lot of effort and care into making us happy as the right price was so important to us. We went to North Hill Mazda to look for a first car for our daughter and the level of service we got was amazing! From the moment we met Mae to signing the deal with her and David the experience was always very positive and exciting! This was probably the easiest car sale we have ever had as they made the process smooth and effortless.

I called in and they were able to get me in same day within a couple of hours to replace my passenger side window (even having to get a window shipped from another store). After we realized our initial purchase was not the right vehicle for us we found they were very willing to let us exchange (7 day exchange policy) for a vehicle more suited to our needs. It took some back and forth negotiation on exchange pricing (I drove Donna nuts!) yet both her and Robert made sure that all is well that ends well. I couldn't imagine a smoother car purchasing experience! I was greeted warmly by Ushindi and later met our salesman Mae. We found Mae very attentive in what our needs were and paid special attention to what brought us in that day. She also respected that we preferred to go on the test drive on our own and needed a bit more time since my wife was unfamiliar with the car beforehand. Her style meshed well with ours as she didn't pressure us at all. Very nice and friendly person. The negotiating process was over after a few calls with Mae and David, the sales manager.
My dealings with David was brief as it should be. But I appreciate that he valued my time and we figured out a number we were both happy with. The final process of signing papers with Corey was good too. He presented some considerations for warranty and explained what I needed to do for registration.
I really was impressed in how the vehicle was delivered to me. It showed the effort this smaller dealership puts forth in creating a memorable car buying experience. It was also evident that the staff there work well as a team.
I would definitely recommend (and already have) this dealership to anyone looking for a new car.

We bought a CX5 from North Hill in June and not a single follow-up call. The bigger concerns were the "Protection Package" representations and quality. We were told by the Sales Manager the "Paint Protection" package would be done with ceramic wax. It was not. After two washes, there was no evidence it had been waxed. The roof was definitely not waxed at time of pick up. The dealer charged $500 for its wax job. We were also told by the Sales Manager the paint protection film would be applied to the front of the vehicle. There was one piece applied to the top third of the hood and a piece applied to the front of each mirror. The application of the mirror pieces left a gap in the middle on both sides. North Hill Mazda charged $500 for those 3 small pieces of 3M film. We ended up taking the vehicle to someone who specializes in automotive paint films. For $600, we had the old film removed, a superior film applied to the whole front section of the vehicle, including the entire bumper and front section of the fenders, front edge of the roof line and bottom of the rear quarter panels. At time of pick up, I asked for evidence that the "Rust Protection" ($500) and "Under Coating" package ($500) had been done. We were told that they would not be able to show us because it would be too difficult and closed the conversation with "trust me, it was done". Based on what we learned about the other elements of the "Protection Package", frankly, we don't. The final concern was the lack of response and follow-up by Mazda Canada. It asked for our feedback in an on-line survey a couple of weeks after we took possession of our Mazda CX5. We gave the above input to Mazda Canada on our experience for its knowledge and consideration. We were advise in an electronic response that a representative from Mazda Canada would be discussing our concerns with the dealer and he would get back to us. That was over 6 months ago and we had not heard from either Mazda Canada or NHM. In short, the whole "Mazda family" thing feels like an empty platitude. After the money passed, we feel more like strangers. We also own a Toyota and a BMW. In our experience, those dealers and manufacturers make you feel like you matter and appreciate having you as a customer.

We are taking our CX5 in for the first service and will report too on that experience. However, we won't be going to NHM. We are picking a different location in Calgary.

I brought my car in to have my back bumper put on the advisor Aron said it would have to left for the day I was ok with that taking the day off work. Later that day 2: 45 pm I got a text saying my car was done and called and asked how did it go? He said nothing was done only fluids were checked! It’s not covered under warranty well I was furious when I went to pick up the car the tape that I had put on was not the same as when I dropped it off which could have been a road hazard. I asked to speak to Aron and he was very rude to me while smoking his Vape claiming that I yelled at him. Any way I fixed my problem myself the point is it should have been communicated better rather then waiting all day to accomplish anything. Just to note this is my second car that I purchased from here but will have no more revenue from me again I will go to another Mazda dealership moving forward. It’s no wonder why so many changes in staff there terrible service experience for me just passing it along beware!

The service that I have received has been excellent!
All the technicians who have worked on my Mazda 5 over the past 4 years have done a great job of diagnosing the problems and fixing them. The service agents and parts advisors are very knowledgeable and have gone out of their way to be helpful. I would recommend this North Hill Mazda dealership to anyone who owns a Mazda because of the excellent service and maintenance that I have received for my Mazda 5.

Not really good experience. We're in today for Mazda recall. When my gf brought our car in at requested appointment time she was told to expect 2 hrs to be done. After 4 hrs the car even didn't leave the parking lot. We needed to ask how long was going to take the job again? Basically after our complain the car was brought in and after 30 mins done. Nobody said any sorry (which i didnt need to hear anyway). We felt like if we didnt have to pay for the job as it was MAZDA RECALL nobody cared! Worst experience with Mazda dealership ever. Choose any other if you can.

We recently purchased a Mazda CX-5 at North Hill Mazda. The staff Adam was fantastic to work with, he were very informative and not pushy but efficient, we were thinking of buying Honda CRV at the very beginning, but the dealers we dealt with had changed our plan. In the end we called North Hill Mazda, which turned out that our decision was right, Adam was very nice, and very straightforward, the car turned out to be nice, much better than CRV, we are very happy that we bought Mazda CX-5

They said the GM of the dealership would contact me on Monday of this week in regards to my complaint and I have yet to receive a call from anyone at North Hill Mazda. I'm left with a car that is in worse condition than when I had them repair it, while they are profiting from my $1300 in service charges. How is this acceptable service? Regards.

Very unhappy with my treatment from North Hill Mazda.

I took my 2005 mazda6 wagon to North Hill Mazda after a major coolant leak. I had it towed to the dealer and did not drive it there as it was overheating. I was told by North Hill Mazda the car needed a new water pump and thermostat for the car. I took several days before asking them to proceed with these repairs. When I started my car at the dealership after the repairs were “completed”, the car was shaking and idling very roughly. I asked to speak to the service manager before leaving with my car, and he looked at the car with the tech who likely completed the service. The service manager said something might not have been put back right or possibly another issue. He also said that they don’t look at everything, only the main problem. While I don’t expect them to check all my lights, etc, if the $130 I paid for a diagnostic was limited to plugging into the car’s computer, I could have done this myself! I also would have believed that there could be other issues had I not had the car at North Hill to replace a fan control module only a few weeks before, with no rough idling issues prior to, or after this servicing. This service also included a “diagnostic check. ”

Had I known there was other possible risks I would not have proceeded with the water pump and thermostat replacement. What is more concerning is that they would have let me drive away with my car in this condition! I brought the car to Mazda since they should be the best at servicing a Mazda, but now I think that was a mistake. I would have expected them to be honest and have said your car isn’t still right we would like to hang onto it. I would have even paid more for them to check this out. If this issue wasn’t apparent to the service tech, then why would anyone bring there car here for service!

They kept the car for another week and told me they put a used mass airflow sensor in for free, but it still has a lumpy idle, and likely needed a tune up and spark plugs. I took a look at the mass airflow sensor they put in and the sensor wire was completely dirty! Could they not be bothered to even clean it? I am not even sure they replaced it. The car is slightly better than the first time I went to pick it up. But still idling quite rough, especially with the AC on, or sporadically while driving (scary!). I’m now left with a car in what I would consider to be worse shape than when I brought it in for service for the water pump since it didn’t even idle rough when it started to overheat with the coolant leak.

Not transparent! Avoid North Hill Mazda!

A rare find!
We visited/contacted all 4 Mazda dealerships in Calgary as part of our purchase preparation for a Mazda CX5. Our personal experience was by far the best with North Hill Mazda. The other 3 dealerships be it in person or over the phone left us with the unfortunately "typical" strong aftertaste that a lot of people associate with car dealerships e.g. Pushy sales people, a lot of up charges such as "mandatory" dealer accessory packages for an absurd amount of money, not much transparency and so on. Then we went to North Hill Mazda prepared to experience the same "spiel". There we met Danielle in sales. She was very helpful, respectful warm and friendly (we did a rely long and thorough test drive to make sure we like the car). So we decided to make an offer to purchase. They only made one gentle attempt to sell us addons such as window edging, nitrogen tires fill, paint protection etc.but we only had to say "no thank you" once and after that they let it go. We knew through our research exactly how much we should get for our trade in and how much we should pay for the new vehicle (third party info such as blackbook and autotrader /we also searched the used car marked listings to compare prices. We used carcost and unhaggle for the new vehicle info). David, the sales manager was a rely nice guy to deal with, he was truthful and upfront with all the info's he provided such as the dealer invoice price and more (that we all where able to confirm with our 3rd party info mentioned above). All in all during the purchase process there were at least 3 major instances where they proofed to us repeatedly that they were trustworthy (each time we checked with our own research) in the past with other Dealerships we where often lied to so that is a big deal to us!
This was our 5th new vehicle purchase in 20 years and it was by far the most pleasant and enjoyable experience we had.
Thanks to the outstanding and enjoyable service through Danielle and David we would not hesitate for a second to recommend this dealership to our family and friends!
Ps, it rely helps to do your research before you go car shopping!

I have been taking my Mazda vehicles to this dealership for years. Last week was the last time. I brought my new vehicle in for its first oil change, when I went back and paid for it, I got into my vehicle and the windshield was cracked from top to bottom. I went back into the dealership where I was told I would need to speak with a service manager the next day (I was also informed he would be on at 730 am). I left angry and returned to the dealership at 730 am to find out the service manager was in fact not in the store. What I got instead was the general manager. After pulling out a pen from his pocket to track the massive crack in my windshield he looked at me and told me it was my fault because I must have had a rock chip. He claimed when they hoisted the vehicle up on their machine the chip must have ruptured into a massive crack. He refused to do anything for me other then blame me. Comically they also left a note in my vehicle saying "thank you for allowing us to service your vehicle", yet all I got was a massive crack in my windshield. I have since contacted Mazda's head office, let's see if I hear back.

Needless to say I wont be returning to the north hill Mazda location

Erin / Arron in Parts was awesome in follow up call. Initially quoted me on the wrong part but the follow up and correction was amazing. Send me a diagram through email for me to verify.
