I have been coming the the center for 14 years
The service has drastically declined. The triage nurses do not know the difference between someone needs to be seen by a Dr due to extenuating circumstances vs people who don't know where else to go.
I sat for over 4 hours with chest pains and the inability to breathe properly while people were going in who could walk talk and breathe fine were waiting shorter times.
I don't know how these nurses triage but I always thought it went by vitals
Bleeding, breathing, and blood pressure.

I’ve been coming to this facility for 20yr. The nurses and Doctors are top notch. The triage nurses always do the best even with the unnecessarily needy people that seems to bother them constantly while they try to do their job!
There is no doubt that our healthcare system is in deep crisis yet I’ve always been treated with the upmost respect, kindness and care. They always keep their quality of care top notch!

Kept hearing "we are not a hospital". I felt badly for the staff as they seemed severely over worked.

We have had to use this facility many times over the years. The staff are always incredibly kind and compassionate. Like any hospital the wait times can be extensive. But staff really have always been top notch.

The medical care is great quick and efficient. Remember that this is mostly an emergency medical facility. The emergency should not be used for non-emergency medical issues. 2023 Parking is being changed to a pay to park lot, so there will be very few stalls until the change over is complete.

I was treat like a 5 stars patient at this location. Felt good to receive so much attention and respect.thank you

A medical emergency and they send you some where else what is that building even there for.staff that doesn't care.

Wait time was 3 hours but received excellent care once admitted. Doctors, nurses and technicians were very kind, communicative and caring. I really appreciated the free parking.

I went to the medical centre because I tested positive for Covid but the health link nurse felt I should go to the hospital because she thought I might have pneumonia as well. The wait time on the website said just over two hours. After 4 1/2 hours I asked the triage nurse when I would be going in and she made a comment about how long I had been sitting there and said to ask Daniel Smith. I stared at her and she finally pulled up the screen and said I might be one of the next five and then said maybe the next two. Three more people went in before me. I couldn’t take sitting there anymore so I left. I’ll contact my family doctor next time.

Came in with diabetic shock. Throwing up every 5 seconds, so weak I couldn't walk or talk, literally just holding on. After 45 minutes of waiting I fainted. When I came to I was still in waiting room. And they sat we back up and told me to keep waiting. I asked for Zofran, an IV, or at least insulin to counter the high sugars.they said the Dr will be right with you. 10 minutes went by and they didn't even look at me. Husband called 911 and got an ambulance to bring me over. Sugar was a 450 (safe but high is under 180). They shot me in the ambulance with insulin and got the drip started while I was lying there completely motionless, awake, but not responding. This was 2 days ago and I just got discharged. Welcome to socialized Healthcare, everyone.

The wait time here is so bad. I have sharp stabbing pain in my stomach and they need me to wait 4-5 hours, which is torture for me considering how much pain I am in. A person would actually need to almost be dead for them to pay attention to you.

Actually a great experience in the emergency side of this hospital! Amazing nurses & doctor that seem to be concerned for the well being of others

Kind nurses and doctor was good. They do their best. I wish the province would invest in updating the facility as it needs some TLC.

I was in agonizing pain and I physically could not wait till my ultrasound appointment which was a month away. The nurse at the triage looked at me and treated me like a piece of meat. She must have had the super power to make a diagnosis that my problem was not urgent. At this point, I had trouble even walking. The nurse said, "You will have to wait 5-6 hours. Plus, we cannot guarantee that the doctor will see you even after the wait. " This hospital needs to train their nurses adequately to treat sick people like patients. I had waited 5 hours before I decided to leave. Please, note that the wait time at this hospital was 1hr 35 mins at the time of arrival.

I called to ask about the ER wait times and apparently they can't give out wait times over the phone? It's the most RIDICULOUS thing I've ever heard and I work in frontline healthcare. They said to "check on the website", which I did first because I'm not a Luddite and guess what? It's NOT THERE.
What kind of policy is this? People have to physically drive to their blessed clinic JUST to find out wait times? THIS is what my tax dollars go to?

Reading all the comments with a 1 star review. Why don't you complain to your current leadership who treat our healthcare and staff as a game. I've come to this emerg a few months back, it was busy yes. I was treated with respect and they did all they could with what they had. When they are short staffed and exhausted with little to no sleep I am not expecting much. Healthcare staff needs support so complain to the ones who have actually put us all in this mess.

I'm giving this place a 1 star review. Spent 8 in Emergency for a cyst behind my ear, got told "we dont do that here" by the Emergency doctor who looked at the affected area. Told me to try somewhere else went to the Royal Alex Hospital and they were shocked he couldn't get rid of the abscess himself.

It's not their fault about the wait times the staff is really doing all that they can. Everyone is very kind and as helpful as they can be under our healthcare circumstances in Alberta. You need to be patient, which can be frustrating, but it's not the workers to blame. Thank you NECHC

Have had to go to emergency at NEH several times in the past months. Is it outrageously busy? Yes. Do the doctors, nurses and all other staff give kind, intelligent and compassionate care? Hell, yes. With the Alberta Health Care in the mess it’s in its a wonder these people pour their energy into every day the way they do. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for these professionals! Thank you to the whole team.

Extremely rude receptionist who decides to hang up mid call because of a (get this) two week long wait for a doctor's note. Tried and tried to get it only to be told that they've done all they can do. Really? Pathetic. Avoid this place like the plague. Believe the bad reviews.

I have been to this emergency room countless times, most of them were mental health related. The wait times aren’t long when you are in dire need to see a doctor. For minor injuries and illness the wait times can last hours and over night, but I find that it’s worse due to the pandemic. The doctors and psychiatrists I’ve seen at this hospital have always been kind, except for one woman doctor I seen. She was white with glasses and she truly dismissed my mental health and I could sense she wanted me to just “feel better” and leave even though I was struggling with attempting suicide that day. She made it clear that she didn’t understand anything really about mental health and just kind of dismissed me after saying some “things will get better” type of stuff, which people with suicidal tendencies know that it just doesn’t help in the moment. I have gone to the hospital many times for a safe place to be while in the midst of trying to take my life, and haven’t met a rude doctor once, until I met her. This one nurse however was an angel and made my stay so much better, considering I was in a hospital bed, and truly made me feel seen and heard. I wish I remembered her name but she was so kind.

The wait was really long i waited almost 6 hours to be admitted but when i went up to the Triage nurse they must’ve seen how long i was waiting because they took me to a bed i saw a doctor within 20 minutes. The nurse Diana was very sweet and came to check in a few times along with a few other nurses. Doctor Ian was very professional and kind. Swiftly got taken for X-rays and sent on my way less than an hour later. The wait time was a little ridiculous but the staff was very kind, I’ve never been treated more kindly or professionally at other hospitals. 10/10 would go to this location over the royal alex any day

Couldn’t give 5 stars because of the Terrible waiting time in the ER and waiting room but as soon as the doctor seen you it will be a bliss. I was seen by Dr. Verna Krisik and she was such a sweet soul. She made me feel her geniune concern and compassion which you rarely see in Doctors in Canada, sad to say. All the nurses that seen me that day were also very nice. Even before the Doctor discharged me she apologize for the very long wait as she knew I was there in the hospital for almost over 12hrs. How I wish there will be more doctors like her, have hearts for their patients and really know the meaning of their profession.

Ridiculous, the fact my little 15 year old brother had to sit in a room for hours in extreme pain waiting for an X-ray is awful. I get there are more important things to tend too but you did not even provide him any sort of pain medication to keep him comfortable not even when my mother went up to a nurse very kindly asking for some sort of pain relief for him and was ignored. This CHILD shouldn’t have to be on the verge of tears and in pain for that long for somebody to not even care.

Absolutely terrible experience here. The nurses talk about you to each other like you're not even there. Very uncomfortable experience. I wish I would have gotten the nurses name that was talking negatively about negatively about me as I would report her. Terrible, terrible experience. If you can avoid going here I would strongly suggest it.

Very nice nurses. Awful doctor i cant remember his name but he was rude from the start. I understand that they could be stressed 2 years of covid was not fun for them but still, they gotta try to be nice to patients. Patients are there because they feel sick, plus having a doctor who says mean things can get the patient to go kill themselves

Of all hospitals I've been to during a multiple sclerosis flareup, this was my best experience. I cried tears of gratitude just for the care and compassion shown to me and my family last night. Despite all the hurdles medical professionals have faced especially recently, you guys showed us outstanding care in a time most needed. Words will never be able to convey the appreciation we feel. It was a very average looking hospital, I've seen it before the pandemic too. I'm still blown away by how well you have rose above and kept providing incredible healthcare to patients. Thank you with all of my heart for taking care of me. ️

Absolute joke of a hospital. Waited 5 hours when wait time on alberta.ca was 2 hours. When asking the nurse if she knew how much longer of a wait it was, she asked what I was expecting out of my visit today. Um… to see a doctor?
My throat was so inflamed that it was hard for me to breathe. Didn’t bother checking my o2 levels or prescribing me anything for pain. The doctor finally came in and said there was no swelling/tenderness and my tonsils look normal. I had my tonsils removed when I was a child. The doctor also said it was 50/50 strep throat or a viral infection. Didn’t bother texting me for strep - just sent me home. He also told me to stop taking any antibiotics that I was previously prescribed; if I have an infection, should I not finish my antibiotics?
I’m literally flabbergasted with the treatment I received today. Majority of the nurses sitting behind the tables all scrolling on their phones. I cannot believe that this is an emergency hospital. Don’t bother wasting your time here.

0 Stars. My husband sat vomiting in the waiting room for over two hours when there was only two other people waiting and not a single emergency vehicle pulled up. Staff is extremely rude assumed he was a drug user when he is naturally thin. Useless hospital in entirety.

Waited there for 4 hours and only answer I got was we still don’t know when we can see you. Might as well die at home then. Emergency services should be urgent and reasonable but it’s complete opposite here. Saw several people walked out now I know why. Very painful visit.

Although there were many kind and caring nurses who were very helpful, I have to give 1 star simply because the nurse crystal ruined my entire experience. She is rude, unprofessional, and extremely disrespectful. She's certainly the rudest nurse I've ever encountered, and quite possibly one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. The first thing she said was that she wasn't afraid to call security. Even though nothing had happened, she threatened to call security. I was absolutely flabbergasted. She continued to be unkind and failed to tell me anything. She'd just come in and take vitals or blood with hardly a word. The other nurses would explain why they were doing what they were doing and make sure everything was okay, but not crystal. I had no clue what was happening the entire time she was on shift. I was just waiting and had no idea what I was waiting for. Not until the doctor came in and explained. I'll never return here because of her. I'd rather risk going somewhere else than be in her "care" again. If you happen to go here and your nurse is crystal, you'd get treated with more respect and get better quality care at a medicentre.

Why is this called an emergency hospital ur not even supposed to wait that long in a normal hospital! I’ve had way way! Better service in east Africa and Ethiopia. (more patients less hospitals there). I have 1.3 year old kid with a concussion to the head with me now and waiting for so Long anthill he fall asleep very sad Edmonton.

Thank you Dr Layton Dale Burkart and nurses who take care of me. Thank you all for your comforting words i wish there's something to do for my chronic chest pain. Sometimes when you see the doctor and nurses comforting you that makes me feel safe. I came here many times for chest pain but today march 23 is exceptional after the good support i got from the doctor and nurses. ️

I have been here several times and never once have I had a decent experience. Staff isn't very helpful or even paying attention half the time.

They did what they could to help patients. There was a woman who just spoke Arabic so they called an entrepreneur to help her, her husband could talk in English but he wasn't helping. They always treated my husband and I really good.

Everyone was kind and helpful. Doc seemed to care and was gentle. Wait time was not bad at all.

I have had to use the centre a few times and each and every time I've had an incredible nurse taking care of me as well as a very caring doctor. As an indigenous person sometimes I worry that I will be discriminated against but they were absolutely professional and caring. Thank you very much

Nurses doctors and staff was awesome. But condition of hospital was like a temporary pandemic house.it was so unhealthy and ugly.they used curtains to partition rooms which makes it more ugly.

I had severe diherea, vomiting and stomach pain, and no one h lped me for over 4 hours. Eventually I left l, I can lay at hom e as well. The worst hospital I've even encountered.

Wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Very ignorant health "professionals".

The doctor and nurse I had during my last visit were absolutely horrible. If anything I fear going to an emergency with the way I had been treated by AHS workers.

Typical hurry up and wait. Got there on time for my appointment and it was over 2 hours before I was seen and then the doctor came in, rushed through the results and left before I could ask any questions. I felt very disrespected and unimportant.

Can’t express the appreciation I have for the staff at this hospital.drs and nurses were the best I’ve ever seen.with exception of one security guard that treated a man horribly. I highly recommend this place had a emergency surgery and everything was perfect.overwhelmed with the great people there

Doctor and nurse experience was 4 stars.

1 star is for upon returning for bio sample, lab technicians were incredibly unprofessional and irrate to the point of causing a patient to cry, all because the doctor didn't fill out the paperwork correctly.

I thought coming here I would receive good care. At first I thought maybe the nurses in the waiting room were burned out but then when I received their abusive behaviour and seen many others treated badly I was scared what type of care I was going to get. I recommend going to a actual hospital where they treat you with dignity not here.

While standing in line for the triage the nurse stands up, gathers her belongings and leaves. Nobody to replace her. Just leaves while people are waiting. I have never seen anything like it. Not impressed at all!

My mother in law was in the hospital there for 7 hours and NO ONE gave her a glass of water after she asked for it. Not recommended unless you are out of options. Not everyone is on the same page as in covid

Nothing is perfect or run like a well oiled machine, wait times are long, and patience run short. You can thank the many health cut backs for that. Positive feedback. Nurse's Doctor's are professionals providing the best care that they can given the staff they have to work with. You're in Canada not the States it could be alot worse.

Unable to understand the continued coming and going of staff while waiting. There are a lot of people working here. Only 2 patients at any one time waiting (no arriving ambulances), but its still several hours wait.
We are supposed to be privelged to have our healthcare system, but I don't see.

Online said 0-30 minutes. Place is EMPTY been left in waiting room for well over an hour. 2 hours since time of arrival. And it’s EMPTY.

I took my grandpa here for alarmingly high blood pressure. The triage nurse was soooo incredibly kind and patient. She treated us like human beings and didn't rush us away although there was a line building behind us. Very sweet! Then we moved to registration and got the same wonderful treatment. We didn't wait long to get into a room, but we did wait long to see the doctor because his symptoms weren't serious. They nurse who came in to check vitals and get more info was funny and very caring! Finally, at last the doctor came in and he was quite funny and extremely caring and kind towards my grandpa and myself regarding my concerns. He made sure to ask my name and took the time to answer our questions. Overall we had a lovely experience here. When another nurse came in to give him some medication a he mentioned that he was hungry and she asked him what she could get for him to eat.

I am grateful we had such a pleasant experience here since we were here until nearly 4am.

Not sure why good reviews? Got there 7.30pm with my son, triage nurge gave him Advil and said come back 9.15pm to check. Sent us to register then wait there sitting until 12.15am not been called. When I asked the counter, "we have few peoples ahead of him and depends if anything else comes up, there's nothing I can do". I have seen all those night shift nurses going home but, we are still waiting. Finally, about 1.30am they let us in, another waiting area. Waited another 20mins to half hour a doctor finally came and talked to us. Sent my son to X-rays and bla.bla.finally done 3.30am! Doctor is good but the wait time is ridiculous by just letting a 6 yr old sick kid wait the whole night?

They took excellent care of me, great stand alone Emerg for less severe issues. Very friendly staff.

I went in for x-rays on an ankle injury. I waited about 3 hours, had 2 (only) images done and was told that it was sprained. Go home, keep it elevated, apply ice/cold, take ibuprofen for pain and if it's not better in a week, have it checked again. I did. I stayed home all week and just came back from a different health care facility where they explained the injury to me, and said I should not have been putting any weight on it, so should have been wearing a walking cast and using crutches. This was such a simple but crucial thing; while they were pleasant enough, I'm angry. I get it, they are busy and didn't want to take the time to explain everything, so.why not have a handout at least so people can take the appropriate steps to recovery.

The worst telephone system I have encountered in a long time. 1.no answer, 2.cut off. 3.couldn't transfer call (2x) attempt 3 called back in and was disconnected.

I have being through many countries in my life and I came from the poorest nation in the world in Africa. But when I compare the medical service I used to get back 200% more than the service this place gives.
The waiting time more than eight hours. All the nurses are unprofessional. I suggest it is better to try your own home remedies for your heal issues.

They sent my father home rather than transferring him to a hospital for further testing. He came back the next day, they sent him home.

He died.

Please take your family member to a real hospital. This continues to haunt me seven years later. With antibiotics my dad would have been saved. I continue to blame myself for not taking him to a proper hospital. Every year I go to his grave and apologize.

Most of the nurses are new graduates (straight out of school) and resident doctors. They lack experience; thus, critical thinking.
I went there a few month ago for something little, and my nurse was a new graduate of 5 months. She was orientating a new staff.a 5 month old nurse working in an Emergency department training others.

I have sever asthma and went there around 6: 40pm, was given an inhaler from a respiratory therapist, then sent back out to wait. (She said she would come check on me, but never did) After an hour and a half I let them know my breathing is getting worse. They give me more of the same inhalers and move me to a room. I lay in pain, struggling to breath and coughing, NO ONE COMES, by 10: 55 pm. I had still not seem a Dr. Or anyone else for that matter. I walked out! This was my first and last time EVER to go to this pathetic place. HELLO PEOPLE breathing improperly is a serious situation. Guess NOT to these people. I have been treated way better then this for my condition elsewhere. THAT'S WHERE I'LL GO!

Not a bad experience at the emergency on a Sunday.

While I know that this is an emergency, I WILL STRONGLY RECOMMEND EACH EMERGENCY CENTERS INDICATING THE MINIMUM WAITING TIMES AND REVISE IT ACCORDINGLY.

The doctor and the nurses that attended to me where very nice but waited almost 5 hours before being treated.

November 10th 2019
2nd day of heavy snow fall

12pm I lost vision and got very dizzy

I was told by security (justin) to leave
After I stated my 1 and a half year old was going to cry for about 30 to 45 minutes she missed her nap

He responded that you will need to leave then
I was there after I had paramedics tell me I needed to get my heart check and go to this hospital.
Nurses were amazing took me in to see the dr while I was packing up my two kids to leave bc my daughter was crying.
I approached Justin and asked him his name then reminded what he had just said to me. He said it was a miscommuntion and he said I had to leave the elevator.
I said no you said I had to leave after I said my daughter is going to cry for 30 to 45 min.
He did not say I had to leave to elevator.

I went in to get a ecg done it didnt happen
The drs were more concerned about my eye sight and said I almost fainted.
No investigation was done to see what the cause was.

First time I went there in terrible pain. Waited for 21/2 hrs just to be put in another room. Nobody came and look out and see the staff hanging out by counter joking around. It would have only taken a few moments to come see how I was doing and perhaps bring a pain killer. I walked out and went to a medicentre. When my wife went with ankle she could not walk on, they took X-ray s and said nothing wrong and gave her pain killers and sent her home after three hour wait. When she gets to her doctor they send her for bloodwork and X-ray s. Could not the emergency staff send her for bloodwork? Staff there are very unprofessional. Never going there again

Horrible, slow, I waited 6 hours for an X-ray and I seen nurses doctors any staff just standing around chatting my experience here was absolutely ridiculous and I will never come back again

I payed the ambulance fees at this location but they did not send the payment to the Ems until the ems sent to the credit collector.nobody at his location to help me find a prove of payment.seem nobody know about the finance departement.it is frustated

EXTREMELY DIRTY AND UNSANITARY. I have provided some photos from our room during our 7 hour visit on a not so busy day here. I had brought the really flithy room to multiple nurses attention and no one seemed to care, I'm assuming because cleaning "isn't their job". Housekeeping is everybodies job in my own opinion. I've seen nicer and cleaner hospital rooms in other countries with less health standards. It will be reported. Avoid this place if you can.

My mom had to go in for her back, the nurses here gave so much attitude and we’re very rude! Plus it wasn’t even that busy and she made me and my sister wait the waiting room because “it’s to small”, when she had the whole room to herself!

Great experience with doctors and staff in emergency. They were friendly, polite, knowledgeable and caring. They took good care while treating my 2yr old daughter. There were two doctors and three nurses at the same time monitoring my little one while stitching/repairing the deep wound.

I’m not sure about these negative reviews, I guess people are very critical. I found the entire experience great from the time I walked in until the time I left. They were very polite, friendly, attentive and I received a fast diagnosis regarding my emergency. Admittedly it was a slower evening for them but nevertheless I’m very sure they do the best they can under the circumstances they face. I think people need to understand that this is an emergency centre and should be treated as such. Thank you for the positive experience under trying circumstances.

Had a blood gas drawn, the staff was delightful, the student who worked on me was kind and took her time, and tbh it was the least painful experience I've had with blood gas.my thanks and gratitude to them

This place is TERRIBLE. The staff are NOT friendly. They are not sympathetic and nobody does anything. There were at least 10 nurses standing around talking while there were a bunch of people that were in need of service. I never go to the hospital, but this time I did because I was having severe pain. I waited for over 4 hours and still didn't get to see a doctor and I was in so much pain that I needed to leave so I could drive to another hospital to see a doctor. This is the worst hospital I have ever been to and I would not recommend going here. Even if this is the closest hospital to you, go to the further one. Going here is pointless.

I've always known this clinic to be slow with their emergency patients. We have always experienced a 4 hr wait time there even a couple years ago. So I think they still need to improve their patient wait times there but the staff are great and friendly! Most of them treats kids nicely which is great! Specially nurse Lisa and the doc that did the stitches on my daughter (apologize for not knowing his name as he didnt really introduced himself come to think of it) But yea only thing they need to improve on is patients wait times for the emergency area.

Posted wait time was less than 2 hours. Went for stitches for my son, waited 3 hours to get moved to a crowded observation room. Waited in the second waiting room almost 2 hours.
Over 5 hours in the hospital for the doctor to spend 5 minutes closing the wound.
Would rather pay a private hospital for reasonable wait times.

I went here this past Saturday and had a very horrible experience. I normally go to the Strathcona Community Hospital but the wait time was very long and I was experiencing some very bad symptoms.

I was getting nausea, feeling sick to my stomach like I was going to throw up, fever, sweating, hot flashes, shivering uncontrollably and weakness that mostly seemed to be occurring in the evening.

The wait time was not too bad and the nurses were alright but the doctor on call was very rude, lacked compassion and made my husband and I extremely uncomfortable that night.

He asked me if I had a history of anxiety and panic attacks based on my past medications he had on file and when I answered yes he proceeded to ask me several uncomfortable questions about my relationship with my husband, son and stress going on in my life. He then proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do for me and that it was simply my anxiety causing this. I told him that yes I do have anxiety but I am sure that this is not my anxiety. I would definitely not be coming to an emergency room for a panic attack. He ran no tests just assumed that thats what was going on. I eventually left in tears. I have never been treated like this before in my life.

The next day around 8: 30pm I started experiencing the same symptoms only this time I was up all night with pain in my lower back as well, maybe slept two hours and the symptoms would not let up. It was definitely the worst pain I have ever felt and I've been pregnant. I eventually went into the Strathcona Hospital at 6: 30am. The doctor there was amazing, thorough and was not biased about the fact I had a history of Anxiety and panic attacks. I found out I had a severe kidney infection that could have developed into Sepsis if I had not gone in.

Yes, I do have anxiety but that doctor should have taken the time to run some tests and should not have treated me the way that he did. I would not recommend this hospital especially if you have any mental or psychological disorders. I will definitely not step foot in this hospital again. The only good thing about this hospital was the free parking.

I had multiple experiences with this hospital. Since it’s right by my place and emergencies are emergencies so I have no choice but to rush. My mom was having chest pain and could hardly breath we waited 7 hours and haven’t been seen she was turning red. We wanted to leave to go to royal Alex because I’m not trying to let some unorganized hospital with rude nurses and lousy security have someone pass away there. Don’t go there it’s the worst thing ever. They don’t care about anything or anyone clearly you have to have heart attack to be accepted.

We had a TERRIBLE experience with Dr. Steve Fisher and the staff at this place. We waited 4 hours to be seen by someone suffering 8/10 pain from back, neck, chest and shoulder injuries sustained from being rear-ended at a dead stop by a drunk driver! The police took our statement in the waiting room! I had to constantly speak with nurses who kept telling us we would be seen shortly because of the amount of pain we were in.only to wait hour after hour.

When we finally met with Dr. Fisher, he spent less than 10 mins pulling on our arms, checking our breathing and pushing on our stomachs. The guy had the nerve to tell us it was just muscle soreness and it would go away after a A WEEK OR SO! He send in a nurse to give us a small cup of Tylenol and sent us on our way.

I don't have a cold, I was in a car crash with a drunk driver! No x-rays, no scans, nothing. I had to ask for follow-up recommendations.

The facility is out-dated, under-staffed and completely indifferent to the state of their patients. The "short" posted wait times relative to other hospitals is for GOOD REASON. BEWARE! Go somewhere else if you require immediate professional medical assistance.

I cannot thank the entire staff in Emergency enough! I fell on my elbow - hard & broke it on the ice & the entire team took excellent care of me. It was terribly busy & everyone was so courteous & professional despite how whiney & nasty some people were being to the staff. The care I received was phenomenal & I am very grateful.

I was absolutely disgusted in this "Health Centre" as yesterday evening my sister in law was denied care, as the triage nurse felt it wasn't an emergency. There were no patients waiting in the waiting and someone just didn't want to do their job! My sister in law has issues with low blood sugars and gets dizzy. It was so bad yesterday that she spent half the day in the bathroom vomiting and could barely walk, but they said she was not an emergency! It is really sad when a hospital is empty and they will not help someone who needs it. I only clicked one star because I could not post without giving it at least one!
