My Dr.told me that Dr. Khullar is the sleep guru. If anyone could help me with my sleep disorders it's him. He was right. Dr. Khullar has improved my sleep significantly. I don't know how I would function without his help.

I did the sleep study and had a terrible night sleep fell a sleep around midnight woke up around ~4 am. I let the lady know this and marked it on my paperwork. When I went in for the results the lady said I had Sleep apnea and needed a machine. When I looked at the data sheet they give it has me going to bed around 6 pm and waking up at 7: 15 am. When I mentioned this the lady said you still have sleep apnea and need a machine. When I told her I can't trust the results if the time is off she said the data is right. Interesting because from 4: 30 on I wasn't even wearing the machine. Rudely, she promised to rebook me for another study.

After a month they called to rebook and I said no. This place needs to get it's customer service together.

Dr khullar has made my life significantly better. As great as reviews can be, as well as inflammatory, your experience at this clinic and in life in general will vastly be determined by your personality, and general outlook on situations.

Terrible patient service. The more focused on how to make the patient accomodate them rather than how to treat and accomodate the patient. Not recommended, if you can get a different referral, do it.

Really don't want to have to give this place such a poor review. The medical knowledge here is wonderful and I've gotten support for a condition that no one else would even care to investigate. I sincerely appreciate that. However, it is excruciating trying to deal with with place outside of your scheduled doctor's appointment. I have numerous examples. Was told in November I was being referred for testing, supposedly would take no longer than 2-3 months to be able to get in. I hear nothing in January, and I start checking in, nothing in February, continue checking in, nothing in March and by then/April, am quite aggressively checking in. After all that time, I find out the referral was missed. Why did it take so long to figure that out, especially when I kept checking in, being dismissed with, "you should hear back any day now". So I didn't end up getting my testing until August! This has severely affected my quality of life, stress in dealing with work and insurance. I do have a diagnosis now, which I am so grateful for. But I got the diagnosis in September, got my daytime meds adjusted and was told to give it 6 weeks on adjusted daytime meds before coming back for my night time prescription. I knew within a few weeks that I had reached equilibrium and was NOT DOING well. I was ready to start on nighttime meds end of September because I was not getting any better.daytime meds had reached their limit. Even in my distressed state, I asked to have my appointment moved up earlier and there was a big deal made about it. Fine, I'll bite the bullet and wait until Oct. 15. I arrived Oct. 15, having held my breath for that appointment, thinking I'd just have to hold it together until the 15th and it would get better after that. So MUCH FOR THAT IDEA!: ' (Little did I know, there's a whole procedure and process for this night time medication and it is November 5th and I'm STILL WAITING.on paperwork. This is outrageous. I'm not holding it together anymore. I made it to Oct. 15 running on fumes (and hope) and had nothing left to carry onwards with after that. I tell my work.oh any day.for the LAST THREE WEEKS. There is no sense of urgency or responsibility when patients lives and livelihoods are on the line.

I recently moved to Edmonton after having lived in Calgary, and was a bit worried about switching to a new sleep doctor, as I had a really positive experience in Calgary, and was hopeful that that would continue. I have a very erratic work schedule, which means that my treatments basically have to work around that- and Dr. Khullar is very sympathetic to my needs and feelings, and is willing to work around my work schedule.

He is also very keen to find something that works- which is something I've been trying to do for years. The struggle is to find something that works- but that doesn't have side-effects that compromise my quality of life. He's willing to change prescriptions, and tinker with amounts, and seems to know my file well enough to know which ones have caused me agony in the past. Very grateful for a doctor who pays attention to past medical records, is willing to work with a varied lifestyle, and to try everything he can think of in order to make me experience as close to a 'normal' lifestyle as possible.

The receptionists are also wonderful- always sweet, smiling, and have a good sense of humour when I crack awkward jokes, and even the man downstairs in the pharmacy is down-to-earth, kind, and also has a good sense of humour. Great people all around.

Getting the referral and seeing Dr. Khullar has been life changing for me. He is so knowledgeable and kind. He takes all meds into consideration when he has to prescribe and is excellent at sending treatment updates to my family doctor. I don't have sleep apnea and a c-pap machine was never suggested or forced upon me as some of the other reviewers have said.
