I've heard about some terrible interactions in this shop. Based on how unprofessional they respond to reviews I am very glad to take my buisness elsewhere and avoid the trouble.

Absolutely amazing service, if I could keep rating 5+ stars I would! In service and their local delivery is super fast and professional, I wouldn’t go to any other supplier for all my tattoo needs. The owner gave me a lot of good information and advice, I love it very one there! They care about what they do and you can’t find that anywhere else.

This place is known for being extremely condescending, and finding every excuse in the book when a customer has had a bad interaction. Name calling and fighting with cuatomwrs is simply poor business, dont get but hurt when you are held responsible for your actions. Whe workers pretend to know everything there is about tattooing it leaves a sour taste is many customers mouth. I've never heard many positive interactions with this shop. Only continued uncomfortablness, rudeness and weariness to even phone this. They are going to phone your shop, heckle you at every turn and waste your time, just order if off good guy supply. Atleast they don't pretend they are AHS and have to personally investigate every customer. I'd rather see a shop selling to folks with ease and educating individuals who seem like they could use a helping hand in their techniques, practices and safety measures. I've also noted and extreme prejudice against private and home studios, which are entirely legal despite what they've told you. They follow the same requirements and regulations as mall shops, etc. I have indeed set foot in this store and decided within 5-10 left without purchasing any items. Defensiveness and false accusations in review responses have futher solidified my view towards this store.

Very elitist and rude.whats with treating any and every customer with a "holier than thou" attitude? This place has become known for hassling you and treating you like a criminal for simply buying equipment and supplies. You are NOT AHS, it's not your job to berate customers technique and services and bother shop owners by confirming customers job occupation.

Called the guy and told him i was close and asked him to wait. He said yes so i continued driving from out of the city. I got there 10 mins after they closed and the guy wasnt there! Thanks a lot for the wasted gas and time.

And now your a liar. I did ask you to wait. It was the right place. You did waste my time. I will continue to order from an online supplier from now on and tell all my professional friends about you.

I will never reccomend this place. I was not treated as a professional by professionals. The instant judgment I recieved upon opening the door was enough, I should've just left. But the way the guy handled the few questions I had, showed his lack of knowledge and his arrogance finally was what caused me to leave. Appalled is an understatement.

Upon reading how they speak to people on their reviews solidifies my opinion of this place of business.

Seeing these 1 star reviews really grinds my gears. I have been using them for supplies since day one and this team I feel is a big part of my success and ability to do the tattoos I do execute from there professional top notch advice to absolutely class A supplies. I’m proud to call the team here at Northen my friends and I owe a huge part of the success in my career to them. I KNOW THEY DO NOT SELL TO WANNA BE SCRATCHER TATTTOIST WORKING FROM SIME DIRTY BASEMENT SOMEWHERE. So for you guys that get turned away don’t be an @$$ and write some bunk review making up lies and garbage because they are doing they’re part to keep our trade sacred and the rest of the public safe by not supplying scratchers and only licensed studios. HAVE GREAT DAY YA’LL! Hope my review helped DE-BUNK a couple of these down right dishonest reviews left by annonmous individuals.

My shop has been purchasing from Northern Tattoo Supply for years, and we cannot recommend them enough!

We just recently had an issue with one of the items we bought, and in less than 15 minutes everything was sorted out and they were sending us over a replacement. We've never had any issues except for this one little thing, and they helped us make it such an easy fix!

Thank you so, so much for being such a great Canadian supplier for tattoo supplies! You guys rock! (Especially Aidan, who helped us with our order!)

I absolutely love this place. The ability to walk in and physically see the inks and products they have on hand is just amazing to me. The guys are always in a good mood and more than happy to help with whatever you need. They have the best products on hand and are very knowledgeable in what they are selling. Keep it up guys. Easily the best tattoo supply company I've ever dealt with in my 15+ year career. Friendly, expedient and knowledgeable. And they stock great products too.

Very ignorant and Very self indulging. The worst part about that place is the first step into the building. Treated me like I was a child and had more questions for me then I had for them. They want to know ur last meal u ate right down to ur first meal u ever ate. Idk I wouldn’t go there. Funny because u can get everything off Amazon! If I could give it a below zero star I would. Owner is rude, came at me for no reason. Had no ground to stand on after he called my shop and they proved I was apprenticing there. Was implying that I was there for illegal purposes such as give home made tattoos, was implying that I didn’t know anything about tattooing. Was talking to me at a very high tone of voice. DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone who would like to support this local business. Go to worldwide tattoo instead.

This place is amazing. When I walk in I feel very welcome and like they actually care about helping me. They have excellent items and prices. This is probably one of the best, if not the very best, tattoo supply company I have ever dealt with. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are a professional in the Edmonton area this is the place to go. I can tell they genuinely care and you will not be disappointed.

These guys are great! They convinced me to try out their new cartridges and I never looked back! These guys are all top notch tattooers so they know what's up! I trust their advice because I've seen the results.

The folks at Northern are all veteran tattooers and incredibly knowledgable about their products. Having a storefront in Edmonton with such well-informed staff is a lifesaver for when you run out of a must have supply for your work day. Northern also offers same day shipping / delivery for those of us located in Edmonton for those busy afternoons when you just can't sneak away. All and all I am thankful for such a tightly knit, communicative, and friendly tattoo supplier to serve Edmonton and Western Canada with such high grade products.
