Northgate Centre

Dirty, homeless population has taken over and has an on-site injection clinic that doesn't help the situation. Only go if necessary.

Like a lot of malls, it's turned over a great deal of space to offices and other services. Generally a positive survival tactic. I'd just like to see them do better with those wide open walking spaces. The place has a depressing clinical vibe.

There's a very nice little eatery space upstairs that could be more cheerful. Seriously. That mall as it presents itself insude, has nice structure. Lots of spacial interest. It shouldnt feel like this. More directories/indicators please.

Bus service maps please! It's nice to have a buss at the door, but if it's not your bus, it's a really long and difficult walk to find and catch the right one. Just try to go south.an outdoor transit route and bus stop access map inside the mall doors would be really helpful. Just some reasurrance that walking all the way across that big parking lot to the transit station across that huge street to the north is going to be a good choice would be nice.

If you attempt to walk around the west side to find a bus stop goung south, be prepated for zero pedestrian consideration. And then finding a stop will be even worse. A very stressful situation.

The shops are all on the main floor. There are some nice ones, but the struggle getting there and home makes it hard to enjoy them.

Loved my experience she took great care of my cuticles like no other salon I been too she was friendly and went above and beyond will highly recommend 5 stars im getting my first pedicure this weekend im sure she will do a superb job like she done my nails I only went I. For white tips n I came out even happier with what she suggested

Miss a lot of the shops that used to be located here. But a decent place to spend the day shopping. At least there's a Timmies.

It is quite apparent that Northgate has had a lot of renovations and cleaning up. Much better, the food court is always full.lots of people are having a coffee and chatting with friends/ family. All are welcome

I just think this mall is awesome. So many stores to visit. Walmart, safeway etc, etc, there be a sale in one store for an item, while another sale item in the other store, great parking wheelchair exessability, be safe wear your mask happy shopping

They got it all and the dollar store is going under a revamp. LOOKS GOOD.

Empty stores but full medical offices. Food court was all open except the seating was restricted to covid passports only. Reasonably clean and quiet

To meny people trying to find anything are someone to help you wS not good and than the person who worked there didn't have any idea were anything was in store

It’s a great place to get things done. Government unemployment doctors has a food court but for shopping needs it’s lacking. That being said it’s a very use full place. Walmart Safeway Subway Mc Donald’s Bell all these are there. It has all your food and drink needs. Gas station too. Beauty salon you could spend hours if you plan right have a good day

Haven't been out in quite some time, and while it was a little crowded, it wasn't too excessive, friendly and helpful staff.

Went to go to her gymmvmt. I always find this mall to feel very dirty and dark. It was 10: 20 and most everything was closed up. The gym was good though

Probably twenty years since I was last there. I don't think has improved her. Not as bad as Westmount or Meadowlark but still not what it once was. But a grocery store a Wal-Mart and a fairly good food court makes the mall useful.

Nice mall, one of the main attractions is Walmart and Dynalife medicentre.and the Winners stores is the icing on cake.you go there once in a while to visit one of these three places. And yes watching children practice Taekwondo/martial art on 2nd floor is another interesting part of my visit.

Food was good. Had the steak special. Staff was good. Place was real busy at noon and very noisy. Hard to have a conversation at a table.

Didn't visit the entire mall so I can't offer a view on that.
I'm sure it's a good place to shop.

BUT that Walmart is DEFINITELY the WORST one I have ever been to.
Found that out 2 years ago but thought I'd give it another try as it was on my route home out of town.
Was hoping it had changed.
Nope.
Think it got worse actually.
Place has a lousy floor plan, shelves and racks are a disaster and finding a sales associate for some help.
Yeah right. Good luck with that.

Won't even waste my time to look over my shoulder to look at the place the next time I drive by.

Actually drove out of my way to the NORTHEAST store.
Never have any problems there.
And I mean never.
Great layout, clean and tidy and friendly helpful staff.
Northgate management should go there and take notes. Lots of them.

Partially dead mall, shopping at Marshall's is good,
I don't recommend Walmart and Safeway because of unprofessional employees. Good for children's taekwondo.

The shopping is good but if you look out of sort the security won't leave you be even if your shopping they won't leave yoir side the holr tkme

Good selection of clothing sizes great determined customer service in the electronic department

Ok mall.always looked at it as a Walmart with few stores added. Only really go hear for the optometrist.nothing really special for a trip to this mall

Mainly I go here for blood tests at Dynalife. It's now not so much a shopping mall, as a medical specialty centre, with shopping choices such as Wallmart, Safeway, M&Ms Meats, a limited food court, and some kiosks. Some of the stores have fallen victim to the covid19 lockdowns, so future expansion is possible.

It has everything you need, it's just far from the city centre so the only people who hang out there are families and semi functioning addicts

The shop I wanted to buy something from was closed although someone was in the back (lights on & noise!), And it was around 12: 00 p.m. In the afternoon. Came back later, front doors still closed!
Dark & dingy mall & sadly a lot of stores had to completely close during this pandemic.

Don’t mind this part of town Walmart is always packed plenty of stores they saved this mall with Reno’s when it was close to becoming an abbotsfield fail

This place has mostly everythong you need in here morthgate has a walmart and a safeway aswell as a dollarama and anything else you could think of wanting

Parking lot can be a bit crazy but I dont hold that against the businessness themselves, once you've parked there's convenient exterior entrances and a variety of stores to choose from. I've never been disappointed about any of them, sometimes they're out of stock but really quick getting it in. Petsmart especially, they also offer curbside pickup.

This mall is struggling to stay around. They did a face lift years ago but it never improved the traffic. It's 60% empty

Great place, nice outlets, perfect one stop shop for everything you need plus it's a smaller mall which means you don't have to walk too much to get what you need, great food selections and the place is always clean and smells good, never had an issue here and always love going here!

Clean mall. Wanted to eat, went to Taco Time. We'll never eat there again should have asked for my money back the guy kept taking his glove off and putting it back on after he touched stuff that is not a good practice during a lockdown in a pandemic.

Great little local mall for all your needs, Walmart, Dollarama etc. Little under populated but it's a useful mall not a "let's go shop and be fancy" mall.

Need security to sort out a few people and sort out parking curbside, no parking is no parking, not a minute or two either

I went there to go to Safeways, then I realized that most of the places I needed to go to were there. Liquor store, gas station almost anything you need. I really like it and plan to go there again to shop.

If uour going for Covid as I did its up the escalators to the right. I mmunizations they are fairly quick. As long as you have your appointment booked you should be fine prepare to stay 15 min after for reactions to the shot.

Two Dollarama stores, Walmart and a mix of unique boutique stores placed in a quaint spacious shopping centre. Public transportation is efficiently centered, and the access to surrounding neighborhoods makes commuting easy for everyone.

The new and improved Smitty's restaurant is definitely worth a visit, old fashioned dining and absolutely awesome gravy!

Doesn't seem like a bad place. Of course my review is limited due to the pandemic. I couldn't really sit anywhere or do much. The RBC bank was helpful and I bought more than I planned to at the Dollarama. They had a Timmies on the 2nd floor. I would recommend shopping here.

Very nice, bright, all the health needs in one place. Needs a dollar store, but it's got a Tim Hortons

Multi-service Center: but not so great. Like many other public places in the city, there is always a case of a broken escalator at least once a week. There washrooms are the most letdown for anyone wishing to use them. The everything seems to be falling apart: door, seat, faucets are very subpar. Management can do better. But overall, if you are determined you can achieve a lot here in one day. It's got a plethora of services, healthcare being a big one.

Needs more variety of stores in order to get more foot traffic. I think Adrenes and Marshals were great additions

I have been to Northgate Centre. It has Wallmart Supercentre, a Food court and few clothing stores. Apart from that, Most of the North Edmoton Medical Clinic and Health Serviced are here include Dynalife, AHS for Vaccine Center, Dental Care, Insight.

Quite a small mall. Does have a few interesting and different shops. Shoe and boot repair shop, candy and nut shop, etc.

Great location with few shops still operating there. I think this place was once a busy and bustling with shoppers until something changed.

I don't even know why they have the small open anymore of the escalators never worked Alberta works computers are not running properly the mall needs to be updated

They must have a mall wide hiring policy that states you must be rude, ignorant and give anyone under u0 nasty looks to work there, every9ne from security to the dude at the smoke shop, total a holes

Though, technically not the geographical center of Northgate, it is a great centre! I was sent here to get scents of different types and the selection of stores just makes sense. There is medical, food, clothes, and lots of everything stores for your everything's.

I come here to get my nails and pedicures done at Vo's nails and they've always been fair priced and no long wait if your a walk in

Small but good place for causal shopping. London drugs might be a better option to shop for electronics in the Northgate. And, there is "As seen on tv" store from which you may find something you want to try. The center needs more stores to attract more people.

Bought these at Northgate mall yesterday I love them I love the mall it's not to busy and it's full of professional offices so I end up comming here often

Extremely unhappy with the conditions at the mall today. Firstly the game escalators outside Walmart were out of service so had to walk to the Rogers side. There Only the up one was working. Nobody can get down except using the stairs. The central elevator in the food court had a huge line up and was over crowded. Men’s bathroom was filthy. Taps barely function. Floors had puddles everywhere of urine. Why’s are female cleaning staff entering it when there are young boys inside

I went to Walmart and on the way there I saw the Walk N Brow - I got my eyebrows threaded by a very experienced woman who did an amazing job in my opinion.

It's alright. Minus the fact the location makes you afraid. There are some creepy homeless people always there.
I also get scared in the parking lot because I got robbed there.so be careful people.

Questionable methods of service. Told to call if ussues to a new vehicle but claimed could nit contact me to replace interior air filter & windshield wipers. Charged ridiculous amount for a vehicle that was parked in a heated shop for 6 months. Neither needed changing - still brand new.

It's about as much as one could expect from a mall in Northside Edmonton. Nothing super fantastic but it is clean and well kempt

You took out the comfortable chairs that were up on the second floor for the people waiting to see medical staff or for their spouses while they wait while their significant other is in their appointment and replaced them with the most uncomfortable things possible. I'm glad my girlfriend is done with her appointments at your mall, as we will not be back.
