Service was super friendly, always fast to get in, I think the feature where you can text in a see how your car is doing during the appointment is great. Only frustrating part was the $85 bill for a software update where a bulletin was released saying it was glitchy and turned engine lights on without cause. But it is what it is I guess.
I dont like being called into this branch for a $1000 deposit on a used vehicle with extensive hail damage and than being told the price is non negotiable.

I purchased a new 2021 Santa Fe Hybrid from Ryan Lajeunesse and Northstar Hyundai in May of this year. First off, I am very happy and pleased with the performance and fuel economy of this hybrid model. I purchased the luxury model so it has a number of conveniences that make driving this vehicle very easy and pleasurable, coupled with the many standard safety features I think that this will provide a nice and comfortable ride for many years to come. With regards to the Hybrid aspect of the vehicle, I love how quiet this vehicle is and after one month of driving this vehicle I am averaging 6.9L per 100Kms or around 41 MPG for city and hwy driving. Not bad for a mid size SUV. I found Ryan Lajeunesse to be very knowledgeable about this vehicle and was able to provide good advice and support. From a purchasing standpoint he was very helpful in getting me what I believe was a fair deal and overall I am pleased to say that I was very happy with this transaction and would recommend Ryan and Northstar Hyundai to my friends and others.
I had the pleasure of working with Cole in sales recently. Cole was very informative, worked with our budget and was accommodating to our schedule. Cole was kind enough to hold our unit a few days past our right of refusal time to allow us to view the unit which he was not obligated to do. You can tell Northstar really cares about their customers. Not only was Cole was very professional, he was so easy to talk to it made me feel like I had known him for years (that type of customer care is hard to find). The finance department was incredibly helpful and it was a smooth transition getting into my new vehicle. Over all 5/5 stars all around and be sure to ask for Cole if you want a smooth, friendly, reliable person to work with. We are thrilled with the vehicle and service we received!
Over that last few months I had looked at a lot of vehicles all over this province. I was tired of the sales “tactics” and the hidden fees. I never once felt like the salesman cared, or that I was getting a good deal. That all changed when I started dealing with Shareef! This car buying experience was amazing. Amazing service from this dealership. We took our car in for a handful of repairs/maintenance. We didn't know what was wrong with our AC, they initially gave us a quote that was much lower (because what was actually wrong with it wasn't what they initially thought). They ended up giving us a much lower price to fix what was actually wrong since they initially misquoted the repair. Also, the backup camera lens was corroding (we didn't notice) and it fell off during their complimentary car wash, and they are going to order us the part and fix it for free! Amazing management & service. We will always take our car back to Northstar. We can trust their service and know they will give us the best service possible.
