NOVA Cannabis Namao

Went in looking for a gift for my fiancee. I know next to nothing about what types of weeds do this or do that etc, guy that helped me was super chill and gave me some great suggestions.

You can order and pay online, then pickup in store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you’re a beginner the staff is very knowledgeable and can help you find whatever you need. The store is pet friendly (on leash) too. Prices are very reasonable and selection is great.

Awesome prices, and the people who work there are great and know their bud!
Update: Forgot to add they always have an amazing selection and compared to alot of other places are always well stocked.

Hard to beat the price for products. Staff are friendly & knowledgable. Usually a fantastic selection of strains to pick from.

I’ve been in a couple times, the staff have always been friendly but not too pushy:) they had a ton of variety and good prices.unsure of their name but the person who helped me had short hair and they wore phoenix jewelry.they were really very nice to me and it made me smile when I was having a rough day.

Bought a vape cartridge from this location, it did not work, returned it the following day and was told to come back when the Manager Colton returned as he is the only one able to process returns, the manager never returned, it has been 6 weeks and over 8 in-person inquiries on our return. Each time they say a manager must be present but there are no managers? They took our receipts and our product, I have been very patient this past month but this is beyond ridiculous. Be wary, if this is not fixed this week I will be reporting this location.

Contacted them as they requested and they have ignored me once again so I have moved forward with my complaint with AGLC and Consumer Complaints & Investigations Alberta and we will deal with it from there. Beware of this location, thieves!

I was sold an empty package. I was in your store December 10th 2023 just before 3pm. I bought the House Station Amnesia Haze pre-roll for my flight. When I got to the airport there was no weed in the tube, no pre-roll, it was a sealed empty tube. Please contact me because this isn't right

I Moved to this side of the city last August. Been going to this store at least every second day. Staff has been fantastic. Today I was helped by a female employee who had helped me once before. She was very outgoing and A+ in Customer Service that day. Today while serving me, I’ve noticed that she was wearing a rainbow pin with her preferred Pronouns on it, HER/SHE. I cancelled my order and went down the road to Lucid Canabis, Signed up to their Rewards program and away I went. Leave your Wokeness at home.

Never a good selection at this location and never any good kind. The other vale bud around r so much better then this one ️

I give only 4/5 stars only because the lists they have up are never accurate. Especially for edibles. There’s never what I want on the board but when I ask at the desk, they have some. It’s not really a bad thing but annoying

Large store with amazing staff who are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Amazing choice in stock and concentrates that changes allowing you to try new stuff. This my place of choice and should be yours.

Great place. One of the cheapest places to buy your cannabis. People know there stuff. Only downside is there website updates very slow so it's not worth putting a item in your cart for pick up as they almost never have it.

Friendly staff and cheap prices. Might be a little biased because I work here, it's pretty great. Selection can be lacking by the time the weekend rolls around so be sure to check em out Wednesdays for the best deals and selection

I have been to 5 marijuana stores in Edmonton and this one was by far better than the rest. Its very open, clean and way cheaper for the same products! The staff are friendly, fast, and know what they are talking about. Answered my questions to the point and made it simple without acting like they were weed gods or making me feel dumb when i didnt know what i was doing. Defs make the trip even if its a little out of the way:)

The staff was awesome and absolutely wonderful. They are so helpful and kind and knowledgeable. Prices are best in town and selection is top notch. Whether you are a seasoned canna shopper or brand new, they have everything from craft to generic product. Shopping at this location your never going to be disappointed.

So I went here today to grab a specific item that was listed online as being available, only to get there and them not have it.the staff said their online menu is a mess and I agree. They were nice so I may try them again sometime, but I prefer to make my selection from an online menu than reflects what the store actually has.

Store setup is easy to navigate, staff are friendly and willing to answer questions at all times. More often they have stock but occasionally they run short, however this is a standard issue across the industry at most dispensaries.

When I first started shopping I went elsewhere, however after being treated terribly a number of times by members of staff, I decided to give Nova a shot. I have been there a few times now and every time has been excellent. Staff were enthusiastic, one girl and I had a full lovely conversation as she was getting my things sorted, and everyone is very knowledgeable of their products.

Do not go here, it’s overpriced and the weed I was sold is Black and appears to be Moldy and looks synthetic. The colour, texture and smell is all questionable. You’re better off going to your neighbour.

The staff was awesome but the options were fairly scarce, suggest looking online & signing up so that one can pick out what they want & have it waiting for pick up when you arrive to avoid disappointment. Also come asap when new stock delivered.

We bought a dry herb vaporizer and a grinder to go along w the 3.5grams of top herb. Prices were acceptable and the staff were helpful. You are in knowledgeable care w their employees.

Nice enough store and the staff was nice. The selection was lacking and i did not find what I was looking for.

I'm a firm believer that it only takes one poor experience to drive a customer away. A brand new NOVA Cannabis store opened in Riverbend Square. Two days ago a very polite and knowledgeable staff member sold me a new VAPE. The one that I was using was hot and I suspected it was burning my tounge. On the recommended advice of the staff member I bought the VAPE. I used it two nights and the new VAPE is way hotter than mine now. I attempted to return the new VAPE to the store. NO WAY was the manager going to take back a product that I will not use again ever. For a brand new business in Riverbend they have made sure I will never step foot inside a NOVA CANNABIS Store again. I'm not saying all NOVA Stores have this lack of customer service because I have not been in more stores. I'm back to using NEW LEAF.

I've always enjoyed my experiences and service given at this location. I've viewed a few different dispensaries and from the moment of standin in line the day of legalization, to this afternoon. The service has not been beat (as after viewing other facilities I have more gone back to any), and when for some odd reason the prices are cheaper for the exact same percentage of CBD and THC in strains; there really is no other choice!

No product options. Not stocked until Tuesday. Hipster Image, info cards not stocked. Poor planning. Too few companies (Edison) most importantly of all OVERPRICED

50 dollars for an eighth is outrageous. 35 is outrageous for a strain only providing 10% THC

I thought the idea was to be comparable to the illicit market.

The waste produced by all the packaging is also insane. You need to offer a recycling program for the waste that offers some sort of incentive for the customer to actually want to return the packages. Just having a return station isn't going to cut it.

People like me who only buy ounces at a time don't want 400 dollar ounces. Your loosing a huge fraction of your customer base by not offering deals for bulk quantities.

There is zero reasons for people like me to shop at these stores.

Please don't buy your pot from these monsters, they're driving up the costs and laughing all the way to the bank. Was so excited to have dispensers in my area when the news first reached my ears but now I just want them to go away.

Horrible Quality, we just purchased an 8th of “Harmonic Harmonie” for $44.05.
It has a bunch of stems placed on the top of the buds and has Dog Leaves throughout.
It’s EXTREMELY DRY and just crumbles like shake.
Over paid for shake, not impressed at all. Will never purchase Alta Vie brand again. Save your money!

It was my first time buying from a dispensary so naturally I had lots of questions as to what's available, strains, percentage, oils vs flowers, etc. The man helping me couldn't possibly have been more inconvenienced to help me and answer anything. He gave me lots of one word answers, when I asked what was available he rudely said "just look at the board". I've worked in customer service and service industry for years and have never treated someone so inadequately. I get all people have bad days but it really put me off. I ended up buying some stuff because I needed it but I will never come back. I would've left without buying anything otherwise.

Sales person so rude asked me to leave as they ignored me and then didn’t understand I was in a rush and just wanted a cheap brand and leave. They saw me coming and left the counter and then told me to leave as I said I just need it quick. Won’t be coming back

Worst place ever. Only racist people work here. Let 5 diferent people on without cheking ID and walk straight to me and ID me 3 times for one purchase. Interesting to know that they didn't ID any of the other people inside the store but they did ID the o ly one person of color in the place (me) making comments to each other in the ear. The worst customer service ever.

First and last time in this place. Went to get some prerolls. The person was really rude and was not paying attention to the tra section for been jocking and talking with coworkers try to return his mistake and didn't reverse the transaction for me saying they didn't accept returns when it was their mistake. Worst place ever. Never going back to nova cannabis

Good potential to be a serious contender, with the rare items. Low on stock when I was in, but one should give a new business time to sort their stepping shoes out. All in all, I'm happy for this business.they are serious about having YOU have a unique experience. Well done, Nova!

Haven’t had any bad experiences at anytime in the store, great staff always so welcoming. I like the layout of the stores. And prices are cheaper than some stores.

It's been fun to buy legal weed! Prices are high, but they are what I expect and I don't mind paying them for the convenience. There are always lots of staff working and there is always someone to help you out.

Different from Whyte Ave. Checking with you after you purchase products on the receipt, no white board for immersive experience, white zipped bag instead of the paper bag, and roomy.

The customer service has gotten much more consistent. This is my main dispensary now. Great environment, staff, and selection. Just went in on Saturday and the three guys helping were all super informative and went above and beyond. Super impressed.
