Nuovo Bistro

We had a wonderful experience at bistro nuovo. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the Caesar salad, wild mushroom gnocchi, and the polpettine, and all of them were amazing. The gnocchi was soft and fluffy, the polpettine was juicy and flavorful, and the salad was crisp and fresh. For drinks and dessert we had the cosmopolitan and the tiramisu, both of which were excellent. The tiramisu in particular stuck out, with a perfect balance of coffee, cream, and chocolate. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Italian meal.

I was visiting from Vancouver and a friend suggested we try this restaurant! It was great! The food and service were fantastic. I would definitely dine there again!

Food is amazing, big portions so definitely worth the price. The italian sodas are sooooo good. The workers are so sweet the owner even offered to take pictures of our table. Great restaurant!

Went here for lunch. We had the bruschetta, Caesar salad and gnocchi. The portions were shareable sizes and the food was the best Italian that I've had in the city. Will keep going back

The food was incredible and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The server was sweet, but seemed new? The music kept turning off so the atmosphere was too quiet - though we likely wouldn't have noticed if the place had been full and bustling. We will be back to eat here again. The gnocchi, carbonara, ravioli and calamari were highlights!

I love this place have gone with delivery and takeout mostly due to having a toddler- however the menu is curated perfectly; I typically get the bruschetta which is absolutely addicting as well as the spaghetti polpette.the ground beef lasagna with the mushroom bechemel is fantastic. My son goes bananas over the polpette- and the tiramisu is my absolute favourite dessert in Edmonton. This place is special and I hope they are in business for a long long time.

Amazing Italian restaurant! Just stopped by on a whim and they were able to accommodate our party of 6 easily. Drinks were good and the pasta was delicious. I had the mushroom gnocchi and it was the best I have ever had. Service was friendly and efficient.

FINALLY real Italian food. After years of dreaming of REAL Taglietelli pasta it arrived at my door. And the Caprese Salad. As it's meant to be. NO greens. Just simply. Fresh tomatoes and basil, fior di latte, and balsamic. Beautiful. Thank u from the bottom of my heart.and stomach of course! God Bless ️

Decided to come here on a whim for date night. This bistro has the most amazing food and the staff were absolutely amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough. 13/10

Oh my god, this place is amazing. I think this is my third or fourth time there and the food and service are stellar. I always get the carbonara with crispy prosciutto and my wife really likes the vegan options they have.

Tonight I took a work group and the server recognized me and was great with everyone. We ordered the calamari and it was easily the best I've ever had.

I would eat there every day.

Delicious, fresh made food with exceptional service. The squash ravioli with prawns and the arancini are particular standout dishes.

A friend and I stopped by here yesterday evening and after being seated our orders hadn't been taken for 30-40 minutes. It was really unfortunate because it was clear that it was understaffed with only one server on a Saturday evening, and she was prioritizing multiple large-group tables that made reservations ahead of time (I completely understand this as we were walk-ins).

We felt awful and ended up leaving. But my friend and I would have appreciated a heads up about the delay when we arrived or even when we received our menus from the server shortly after being seated; that way it we wouldn't have to waste our time or the only server's time and effort on such a busy night.

This is really unfortunate because me and my family have eaten here before about a year ago and had a pretty good experience.

Fantastic food and fantastic service! I’m disappointed I’m not local, or I would be back here at least once a week! Kirstin was friendly, served us promptly, and checked in on us just enough! I’ll definitely come back every time I’m in town!

In the heart of 124st district, you’ll find this gem! The food here is AMAZING. Fresh made pasta. Daily specials. Kind and passionate staff! Lots of parking available.

Good place for casual dining, food is made quick and portions are on the larger side. The open concept kitchen is nice added touch. The only downside is the restaurant is so small and the staff are limited. Depending on which chef is on duty will determine if your dish is a hit or miss. Stopped in the other night after work and had a lovely little meal. We were the only ones in there, so it was quite with quick service.everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for a casual Italian dining experience

I ordered their version of meatloaf through Uber Eats. I received a very burnt 1/3 inch patty which did not resemble the picture at all. The meat was spoiled and stunk. It was totally inedible.

My wife and I had a perfect Friday evening enjoyed some wine, calamari and mussels. Kirstin’s fantastic service made the night thank you.

We ordered 5 entrees and 2 appetizers for pick up for a birthday dinner. Ordered over the phone and had the lady read back to me to confirm everything I wanted. Drove all the way over from the west end, gave a good tip even though it was pick up only to get home and realize she forgot the linguine di mare which was my meal and what I was really looking forward to trying.

I called and was told by the manager initially that it was basically my fault and that I maybe forgot. They didn't seem interested in taking responsibility but instead throwing blame at me. Eventually they offered a 50% discount on the entree they forgot only when I asked but said that's the best they could do. Due to the customer service and the way I was treated I will never go back which will cost them a lot more money in the long run. The entrees were average with pollo suprema chicken being very dry. To their credit the calamari was excellent.

The go-to pasta spot for us! They have daily specials along with half-off appies on Thursdays and Sundays. The quality is great, and the only draw back would probably the slow service. The wait staff is great, but food does take a little while to come out. Great place for a quiet date night for pasta though!

Walked in with my husband, still standing at the door waiting to be seated. I was wearing my mask and my husband had his mask in his pocket. Before the worker even greeted us, she points at her mask and says “you need to wear your mask” I look over at my husband and he realizes he forgot to put it on. He reaches into his pocket to grab the mask right away and not even a second has passed, she repeats “you need to wear a mask in the restaurant” then immediately says “there’s people behind you”. This was all in the span of 5-6 seconds. I don’t know why it was necessary for her to tell us there were people behind us since she needs to seat us/check our vaccine cards before she gets to them. She was just rude. As we were pulling up our vaccine cards on our phones, I looked at my husband and told him I wanted to leave because of this employees aggressive tone. I told her we were leaving but I didn’t have the energy to explain why. So we just left. Super disappointed with our experience, I can’t believe this is how your staff treats customers. First point of contact staff play a big role in business/the customer experience and the employee working today at around 6: 20pm lacks it all.

One of my favourite spots in the city! Friendly service and delicious food. Some of our favourite dishes are the cannelloni, gnocchi and the delicious rotating pasta dish (that I am hoping will become a mainstay on the menu) with turkey sausage, sundried tomato, and a creamy sauce. If you’re going be sure to order the caesar salad- the dressing is made in house and is the most delicious one I have ever had!

Price for portion, taste, quality, and service were all great. You must get the risotto balls. Gnocchi is really good.

Came in for a couple beers in the afternoon but didn't eat. The food looked and smelled amazing but most importantly our server was awesome.good job Kirsten. Next time I will definitely enjoy a meal.

Food was really good the pasta with lobster the sauce a little runny walked In and the 2 people working in kitchen could not acknowledge that I was even there

Went for lunch with a work colleague and the food was fantastic. Service was polite and attentive. Really what more could you ask for?

The absolute best chicken dish in Edmonton. 5* all the way. The whipped potatoes melt in your mouth. The blend of spices they use to season the chicken breast is sensational. Paired with the mushroom cream sauce. This will blow your mind.

I'm giving this place a 5* review after taking my first 2 bites of my pasta. Ordered at home tonight to try for the first time, and pasta cooked to a perfect Al Dente, meat perfectly marinated and overall amazing flavour. Highly recommend this place.

Never a bad experience when eating here, sadly I have never eaten inside but the food is still great and my parents and girlfriend also enjoyed it.

The food was pretty good. Loud atmosphere. Unfortunately they don’t have a lot of dairy free options. And the one option they did have they were out of and not very accommodating with making changes to the menu item.

The Aranchini was amazing and perfectly cooked.
The prawns were delicious with a fantastic lemon, wine and butter sauce
The Carbonara with boar bacon was decadent. Perfectly al dente and excellent traditional cuisine with flair added in the right places.
Staff were welcoming, attentive and gracious.

The cook was such a rude person. I told him that food is not enough cooked and is too salty and he said it is what it is. Eat it or throw it in the toilet.

AMAZING local find! It was cozy and quiet exactly what we needed for Dinner. Food was so good the arancini balls are a must try in house made and absolutely delicious! My husband had the wild boar Ragu and I had the cannolis we were very impressed we have been to Italy and this food was very much at par kudos to the chef. Kirsten was our server she was very friendly and made great recommendations! MUST try the tiramisu my husband doesn’t not usually like tiramisu due to the strong espresso. It even he loved it. We will definitely be back to try more of there great dishes Keep up the great work guys:)

Very disappointing. The waiters and the chef were extremely rude. At least they can say sorry for the bad quality of the food and long waiting time.
