Stay away from this place! Such a rude agent who can't even let the customer speak properly. I was explaining about my mother that she is brand new to Canada and am her sponsor so her address is the same as mine. The agent didn't even let me to prove that. She threw my mom's passport and paper to us. We are coming here to get a service and pay our money not to be disrespected!

There’s only one person who is remotely interested in helping customers (Person at Desk #2).

I’ve made multiple trips there for the same registration because they expect you to know everything and won’t take the time to walk you through the required documents/steps.

The folks there are hard to understand (which is fine; I ask for clarification). The issue is they look at you like you’re an idiot when you don’t understand them and basically stonewall you until you walk away. I’m in awe that they are still in business.away. One of best registry. The lady was really helpful in getting my car registered even though it was 5 mins to closing time. Excellent service, has the option of scan and wait type of line up. 1000 times better than Taradale registry.

Been to this location a handful of times. To get a marriage license and certificate on separate occasions. Renew my car registration, renew my license with name change. If you go in having done all your research and with all your documentation it should be a breeze. If you have any doubts or questions, call in prior to going to make sure you are prepped for what you need to do. It helps streamline what the staff there can do for you and make your experience more pleasant.

I personally love the system they use. The front door shows you the scan bar to get into queue once you arrive and you can even do it when you’re home while online if you live close by. If the queue happens be going faster than you anticipated and you are asked to come inside…. You can prompt in the system that you need more time and they will keep your spot on pause and put you back at the front once you get there and prompt that you are ready again. I couldn’t ask for more than that. It’s great. Admittedly, it is a little tense being in such a small space waiting with quite a few other people at times but they get the job done in the end. Thank you

Just stay away from this place. They don't care, are slow and lazy, speak their own language behind the plexiglass walls, chomp on their food at leisure, don't pay attention, and have a que system that baffles everyone who goes in. Go to Crowfoot. It's worth the gas.

Really dissatisfied and won’t be back here. Only way to put it is lazy employees. About 5 of them working and only one customer, the rest were sitting not helping anyone. Got there at 3: 30 they close at four and stop taking people in the queue at 3: 30 which is ridiculous. They were not busy at all zero line up, had to renew drivers license which would had taken five minutes. Refused to offer me service when they didn’t close for another 30 minutes and had zero line up told me to go to crowfoot. Glad I went there I was able to walk in wait and line and was helped within 5 minutes. Will take my business there in the future. Thanks for wasting my time.

I went to the NW Registry to exchange my out-of-province Class 5 Learner's Permit which I'd obtained after completing my K-test in the previous province and surrendering my own out-of-country license with nearly 15 years of driving experience. I was told I would be granted a Class 7 Learners and could not take the driver's test for 1 year. I understand the regulations are different here and I accepted this with grace. However, when I asked if there was any other way I could take the driver's test earlier, the agent said "You have to write to the government for an exemption". I asked "What department should I write to? " to which he replied he does not know and I would have to research it. I asked if there was any particular document and he said "You have to write a letter".

After coming home, I decided to do my research and this is what I came up with: "Step 2. Fill out the GDL exemption application form and submit your documents
Attend a registry office to complete the form, or download the Application for Graduated Driver Licensing Exemption (PDF, 63 KB) and the checklist (PDF, 60 KB), and submit the completed form to a registry office. "

I wish he would have helped out more in this regard, but obviously he was not too knowledgeable about the process. In any case, I got what I needed done. However, I believe this was a lack of professionalism on his part.

The worst registry in Calgary.
This location is so small, my room is bigger than this place. When this place gets busy it’s really hard finding space to stand or sit because it’s way too crowded. The more people who walk in the more you have to shimmy out of the way but there is no room to do so, very claustrophobic. They need a bigger location and hire better staff.

Texted my name and waited in my vehicle. Wait is long, but the actual time to get my service done is short. Don't think the staff is slow, but rather this location have a volume of customers as you can see customers in and out. Staff was nice.

Had been a customer for long time but got a very disappointing service. We were scheduled for an advanced road test on August 29,2022. Unfortunately, we couldn’t attend due to medical emergency where my wife was hospitalised. I made sure to call the registry before exam time telling them of the situation and cancelled the road test. I asked of my options for the money I paid, the person on the other side of the phone said you have three options: refund, reschedule the test or use it for other services in the same registry. I was perfect and they confirmed I do it at anytime. Now that the GDL to full license requires no road test, I called to utilise the money for renewal of driving license and obtaining driving abstracts and the person on the line said no you have to take the road test and I was like why would you take a test that’s not needed anymore and I mentioned what I was informed by their employee but they went to the extent that take test or go complain to government. Im very very disappointed and I hope the owner will look at this review and rectify since losing a frequent customer for the past 8 years is something that he wants it to happen. If no resolution is done, I’ll make sure my story goes to my friends in Creekside, Evanston, Sage Hill and Nolan Hill.

Unnecessarily strict and unreasonable. I came to renew my license on March 10, it’s expiring on March 19th. I was asked to go bring my passport before I could renew. I printed it out, showed them on my phone but they wanted me to go back home and bring my real passport. I went to another registry and they didn’t ask me for my passport because they could tell that I have a legal status in Canada. I think they create extra rules here to inconvenient people.

Indeed, this is 21st century Customer Service experience. I was introduced to this location by a famil friend who asked me to text my name ahead of time in order to be in queue which I did. Long story short, the empathy and professionalism with which I was attended to is second to none. They saved me time and money while discharging their duties professionally.
I would recommend this location as many people that I know. Simply text your name ahead, continue whatever you are doing, you will keep getting updates and when it is your time, drive down and get served. QED. Weldone guys!

They don’t know what they are doing. They didn’t solve my problem and charge me money still. Few months ago we came to register many owners of a company and now my accountant is saying that there is no shareholders just director. They cancelled my ownership in plus of not doing what we came for last time.

I had to wait 30-40 minutes today but compared to other busy days, it was reasonable. Texted my name and waited in my vehicle. Got the text message in about 30 minutes to come in and did my vehicle renewal done without any problems. Staff here were very helpful. Looks like there are a lot of new comers in this community so I assumed that is why this registry is always busy.

Joined queue via text. Recieved a message approximately 30 min after to come in. Message stated I will be served shortly. I guess "shortly" means different to different people. Waited another 80 min to actually having my name called.

I went to this location for the first time. I got there 30 minutes before it closes. I could not get helped because I had to join the queue via text message. I did not even know that this location was doing that. It was a waste of a drive

Slowest place in the world. Under staffed and when you ask them a question about why it’s taking so long they just stare back at you with dead eyes and open mouths, breathing heavy. Place is so frustrating… and don’t use your credit card here or it will cost you extra

Loved the text message system. You need to text your name to join the queue and after I texted my name, I received a text message to come inside after 5 minutes. I love this system in this COVID environment. Staff who helped me was very kind and had all the knowledge for all my questions. Since this registry is located in a residential area, it is always busy but looks like they are doing their best to help the Albertans.

I arrived at 10 AM and put myself on a waitlist. It said I was 10th in line and estimated my wait time as 20 minutes. No problem.

I went to Co-op and did some grocery shopping. I was 5th. Looks good.

I went to the liquor store and did some more shopping. I was 6th. I'm unsure how this is possible but I'll let it slide.

I went to my car and sat in it for 30 minutes. I went from 5th. And then back to 6th. The time was 10: 45.

I drove to another registry. I was 4th. At this point I was curious to see where this maelstrom of misery led me so I stayed in the virtual queue.

I finished what I needed to get done and left the other registry. I was 5th. More than 75 minutes after I started my 20 minute wait, I recieved a message telling me I could go in.

Just go somewhere - anywhere - else.

Horrible. You text your first name to join the line. No estimated wait time, no updates, nothing. After two hours I texted them to cancel and told them that it was insane. Four hours after I first started the process the robot started texting me to come in and would not stop. Don't go here unless you have an entire day to waste. You can't post with no stars so I had to give it one.

Very bad experience here. In my vehicle renew, asked me to send name to them before serving me, although I was already in their office and four staff free with only two customers. So had to text them face-to-face and I was exactly the next one to be served. Really unnecessary in that situation and so ridiculous! Staff need to be trained for customer service.

Worst customer service ever! I called before I came in to see if I could get my vaccination passport and they said yes. I then waited in the queue for over half an hour to be told when I got inside by the manager Victoria that she was not able to pull my information and quickly tried to tell me there was nothing she could do to help. What a waste of time! Your staff needs to be trained and learn how go handle customers! If you can't provide a service than be upfront and not waste people's time! I will not be returning to this location ever again! You should also get a new manager!

Bone headed, Humpty Dumpty dumb a? Sitting at the counter. Provided two Govt.photo IDs along with an online statement with complete address on it and yet he is arguing that he need a physical envelope showing the address. Told him that I get all the statements paperless and electronically but the guy's needle was stuck at the same spot. The fun part is that he is dealing with the customers but can not even speak proper English. One thing is quite noticeable for sure when you walk into this registry, it feels like you are in Beijing and not in Calgary.
These guys have absolute zero importance of customers time and money. Not going to go to this place again neither would suggest to others who value their time and money.

I called today and I was put on hold for 15 minutes so I hang up and called again and she put me on hold again. I am still on hold for 10 minutes. All I wanted to know If my son can come for his learner test. Learn to respect others time.

This place is OK. You have to text your name to a phone number posted on their front door (no walk-in's allowed, which can be frustrating). When you text the number, it gives you an approximate service time and tells you how many people are ahead of you. You have to wait outside/in your car while waiting. I went on a Monday late afternoon and my estimated wait time was 30 mins. After about 40 mins, I received a text saying they were ready for me and that I can enter the place now. Upon entering, a lady at the counter called out my name and I was then helped. Overall, an OK experience. I don't really understand why people can't just walk in (COVID?).

Used their online line up system and was asked to wait 40 minutes and my spot was at 10.30 minutes later. My spot was still at 7 and have to wait another 20 minutes. Drove to another registry and got my service in 2 minutes without line up

The only reason I wanna give this registry 5-star is because of their online queue system. Man that saves you so much time and I dont go to any other registry. I live nearby so I get in queue by texting from home. When they message they are almost ready, it takes me 5 mins from home and I get to the registry.

The worse registration ever. Staff struggle with English communication. They have no clue what the heck they are doing. I had to return 3 times because they made mistakes and couldn't understand their own mistake. Went to another registration store after dealing with them after the 3rd time. I was in and out in 5 minutes. If you can, avoid these jokers, they will most likely waste your time.

This place is ridiculous. They charge extra if you want to use a credit card. They are also really inexperienced and are much less knowledgeable than other registries. Take your business elsewhere people.

Very bad service, they ask you to text your name and wait outside. Waited for over 45 min then when I went inside to ask how long more I should wait. I was surprised when I found out they serve the people waiting in the line inside before who registered their numbers and we're waiting outside.

My experience at this registry was awesome. The girl who registered our company from Manitoba to Alberta is so professional and efficient. I wish I could post her name here as she went beyond her duties to assist us. I live In ne but will prefer now on to have 30 minutes drive and visit this place for further services. All the very best girl. I wanted to give her few bucks for appraisal but was not sure if it’s appropriate or not so i did not.

Took my advanced drivers test with Rene and he was amazing. Extremely fair and understanding. Made it a very pleasant experience. 100% recommend. Also, you can text the registry when you arrive and they will text you when they are ready for you! Very covid safe!

Super easy! I went in today to renew my D/L. They have big signs on the door and windows asking that you text your name to join the lineup. Then you get a text with your estimated wait time, which you can refresh. I waited in my car for about 15 minutes. The employee who helped me was friendly and professional.
