Unique little bakery tucked away in the corner that does gluten-free cinnamon rolls. WITH icing. Amongst other hip offerings. Expected them to taste like cardboard like most other such 'healthy' options. No, indeed! Tasted amazing. You could put these in front of your most agendist dietary grump friends and maybe even get a grudging compliment. Or at least a non-committal grunt while they scarfed it down.

One of the best pubs in Calgary, a big liquor store, Subway. Next I have to try the Italian restaurant, the Chinese restaurant, and I think there is a pizza place too.

They're redoing the plaza so that there's no parking space. Renovating the business is one thing; decreasing parking space is another.

Nellie's is the place to eat brunch busy today being Sunday but the service was top notch and seems like a happy

I love to support local businesses, and Oak Bay Plaza has a nice mix. From Nellie's for breakfast, The Point for pub food and drinks, Involtini for excellent fine Italian food (and pizza!), it's got a lot of food options. I've been a patron of many of their stores, from the 24-hour convenience store (ice cream and.samosas?), automatic car wash, sewing & alterations, pharmacy, and the gluten-free bakery. Even my dentist is here.
My only criticism is that, after the recent renovation and upgrades to all the storefronts, Ace Liquor stands out as just the ugliest eyesore. Everything else is improved, but that hideous yellow-on-blue sign ruins the whole aesthetic. The developer and their neighbours can't be thrilled about that.

Love they're pub (point and feather) they show boxin mma fights.and NELLY'S all day breakfast is really good aswell
