Oasis Medical Centre - Calgary Harvest Hills Family & Walk-in Clinic

Dr. Mabunda used to be my doctor, she was amazing, very cheerful and very social. She was my family doctor and always knew what she was doing. I am sad that she is no longer my doctor but my time with her was amazing. She was very hard working and professional. She was too kind to me.:) very satisfied with the service

I hate to be the worst of reviewers but this one takes the cake. I phoned in today because Dr. Mabunda forgot to check mark what blood tests I needed to do on my requsition. The receptionist on the phone told me basically to rebook my lab because she can't do it right now. After what seemed like pulling teeth they finally had it filled and sent to me. I think it's maybe time for a new doctor?

I have appointment at 10: 20am but i came at 9: 10 thinking that i can do a walk in instead but to my surprise the medical assistant in the front don’t know her work and she let me wait till my appointment time. Waiting here in this clinic sucks specially the medical assistant and the music is so loud! You guys need to hire a new medical assistant.

I have an appointment at 11: 30 am. The receptionist keeps accepting walk-in. I have never been accommodated after waiting for 2 hours. Worst in taking appointments. I should just walk in instead of making an appointment.

I walked in today and was shocked me that said dont take walk in or new patient and it's supposed to be walkin clinic and I was here before and was too long a go and they didn't take me

I went there yesterday afternoon 12pm. I had an appointment booked for my 3 year old who was sick. After waiting for 20 minutes I went up to the counter to ask how long before my son gets seen by a doctor. I have an appointment booked. I told her everyone who came after me is going in. The receptionist went to the back to check with the doctor and then she came to me at 1238 pm and told me we cant see your son he has to see his fAmiky doctor. At that point I lost it and told her why wouldn’t you tell me that in the first place when I walked in for my booked appointment. I told her I was reading your reviews while sitting here and they are horrendous for a reason. Then I starting giving her some well deserved verbal abuse for wasting my time. Can you imagine sitting there with a sick child and being told he can’t be see. 50 minutes later of waiting. People sitting there were watching me and I did not hold myself back. I have never been so angry in my life at a doctors offices. This oasis medical place has left an horrible taste in my mouth. I will never go back there again. They need to be shut down. Doctor mubunda takes hours on just one patient she needs some major councilling on how to be a doctor and needs to loss her practice license. The receptionist need to be fired they don’t know what they are doing clearly. I am lost for words the are so rude and unwelcoming. Shut this place down already!:) god bless if you go to this clinic I would highly recommend you find some other clinic.

My child was hit in the face with a hockey stick at school. His teacher recommended Oasis harvest hills as another child had a similar incident and they had gone there. This was approx 11: 30am. I was told sorry we're no long accepting walk ins (the waiting room had only one person waiting) and I'll have to go to another clinic. What's the point of calling yourself a walk-in clinic? The front end staff I'm sorry to say are not very compassionate and not at all helpful.

I was visiting Calgary to attend a family emergency and was staying in a hotel close to this clinic. My child got sick and needed a physician’s attention and I went to walk-in there. Front desk lady wasn’t happy that I went there and stated that she can’t help me after partially listening my concerns. She advised me to go to another clinic to check my luck seeing a doctor…. Wow what a compassionate and professional admin staff! ‍It’s a disgrace to health care system ….

This place is the worst medical clinic in calgary bar none.front staff are so incompetent they told me I had to wait 5 days for them to check the fax machine for test results that came in the week prior. And also claimed the results weren’t on netcare when the testing clinic told me they were.absolutely laughable that they hire these people.

While I love Dr. Magerman deeply the front desk/reception is abominable. No voice mail. No phone call answer half the time you call. Makes accessing healthcare impossible.

I placed a total of 12 calls over an 8 day period and finally had my call answered today, again after my 12th time ringing the clinic.

Within a few minutes into the call I was already put on hold twice, and every time after I began talking to the same receptionist again, she would ask me to repeat information I already gave to her before each time I was put on hold. It was needlessly frustrating having to repeat to the same person 3 different times what my name was and my purpose for calling.

Dr. Mabunda ended up taking over the call and I was able to sort out everything I needed within a few moments.

Overall I would not recommend this clinic unless you have no other alternatives to turn to.

If it wasn't for Dr. Moira I'd be gone! Horrible supporting staff, tried calling for the last 2 days without any answers, I will need to in person to make an appointment, good way to prevent exposure to Covid19? I was suppose to have some tests done that the front staff forgot to book me for. The ownership of this establishment should consider investing in a receptionist and some proper experienced staff.
