I have been going to Ocean Sports for years. The staff and owners are always friendly and helpful. I always rent wetsuits in the fall and spring for dock work and they take great care of their repeat customers.

Awesome service! I ordered a connector for my new FatSacs online. Jacques called me and asked if I was sure I had the right part. Sent him pictures and sure enough, ordered the wrong ones! Great catch, Jacques! Saved me a lot of back and forth and shipping costs. They know their stuff! Many thanks again!

I was after a specific wakeboard, the orderd it on Wednesday and it came in on Friday, after no one else would order it. When I got there to pick it up the staff was friendly and helpful

There is a “Karen” staff in this shop! She is a huge lady… I was purchasing a dive boots and she told me that there is no return policy for dive boots due to hygienic reasons even unused! … REALLY? !? ! Sportcheck, Atmosphere, MEC, United Cycle, Dive Outfitters…. All of them allows to return unused water shoes and some of them even allow to return used water shoes. She is incompetent, she is insisting me to use smaller size dive boots which is obviously uncomfortable! I didn’t listen to her… I know from the start that she doesn’t know what she is talking about… One lady staff there is nice though.

I have been using ocean sports as my water sport toy supplier for the last 10 years and I refuse to go anywhere but here. The team they have in Edmonton is unbelievable and they are so kind and helpful. They answered every question with so much passion and there prices can't be beat!

I broke the lace lock on my waterski boot on the July long weekend, ordered a repair kit online on Monday (of the long weekend), I received it Thursday! Didn't lose a weekend thanks to Ocean Sports in Edmonton. Thank you so much for the great service!

After kayaking for around 40 years, finally purchased an inflatable Aquaglide Chelan 155. The boat performs way better than expected and has nice features. But even more satisfied with the buying experience from Ocean Sports. Shipping was extremely quick and even received a courtesy call to confirm a couple things and see if any accessories were needed to potentially save on shipping costs. Both the kayak and especially this business are highly recommended.

Ocean sports went above and beyond when I ordered an accessory for my boat. After making an online order they called to confirm what kind of boat I had and recommended a different item that would work better than what I ordered for a lower price. Will definitely be using them for future purchases.

We recently ordered a Stohlquist Women’s paddling PFD from Ocean Sports. They actually called to double check sizing before promptly shipping out the order. When we contacted them regarding a small issue with the charge on our cc, they responded within minutes and righted the error very quickly. So satisfying to get great customer service, something that many businesses lack these days.

I usually don't write a lot of reviews but I had to take the time for these guys. Placed an order for a wakesurf board that was on sale. Sale price for the board was very attractive so I jumped on it. I placed the order after hours online late in the night. The next morning I got a call from a rep at the store confirming my purchase. This struck me as odd as I've never had anyone call me to double check something I've ordered - but I quickly figured out why. During the call, the young gent on the phone (wish I could recall his name) proceeded to ensure that I had made the purchase, confirm ALL my information, as well as take the time to ask me questions about what boat I would be using the board on and what size and style of rider would be using the board along with several other intellectual questions. This really struck me as amazing, not only did he successfully insure everything about the sale, but also avoided a potential problem before it arose. I had purchased a surfboard from another supplier closer to my home province last year and had a horrible experience with the shipping and customer service I received, not to mention it took 3 times as long to get my product that had zero discount whatsoever initially or after my issue. The gent even chatted with me further about a few things unrelated, no sales tactics, just polite service. What the rep didn't know is that I have been comparing Ocean Sports with many other suppliers for over 3 years and have many times considered buying from them in the past. Ultimately, my surfboard arrived in a ridiculously short time, packaged perfectly, to my door, signature required and confirmed delivery before I even realized it was shipped out. In a world where customer service is basically dead, this young man stood out. I am a well informed customer and am very happy with everything Ocean Sports has done in this transaction. Give him a raise, give him a day off, promote him. Thanks again, can't wait to use the board. You have a customer for as long as you're in business.

We dealt with them to do our PADI the last month. They were very accommodating and we loved their instructors.
