Honest mechanics, quick service and reasonable prices, you can't ask for more than that!

Brought my car in once because another mechanic told me I needed new brakes. Scott at off Whyte told me that my brakes were totally fine. They very easily could've just sold me new brakes and I'd have been none the wiser.

Ferris is a great mechanic. He has taken care of my Honda Pilot. He is fair, honest, and knowledgeable. The other staff are great too.

I had an amazing experience here. First of all the prices are unbeatable. I got a quote from another dealer for an insane amount but when coming here they gave me a great deal for $200 less than the other quote. Scott was a great help and got to work on my vehicle as soon as I brought it, even worked through his lunch to get my vehicle done. 10/10 would recommend. Great service from Off-Whyte Auto! I came in recently to get multiple things done and they were a huge help. I know very little about cars, so when I needed to find a part they were very kind and wrote down exactly what I needed and gave advice on where to find it. I am from out of province, but if I am in Edmonton and need a service done, I will 100% go here again! Thanks to everyone at Off-Whyte Auto for making my car roadworthy again!

The people I dealt with were nice for sure but when it came to my car they didn’t seem very interested in fixing it. I’m not exactly sure why? I have the money and was more than happy to pay whatever cost it would have been but the mechanic I spoke with just kept saying how busy they were. It made me feel like they weren’t interested in fixing my vehicle at all. And that’s totally fine but it seemed like a waste of time to book a diagnostic, wait a week to take my car in and spend the $100.00 fee that they charged. I’m sure the mechanics are great at what they do and like I said they were all very nice but I was definitely disappointed when the mechanic said that he did a couple test drives and it seemed fine but as soon as I got in the car I knew right away they didn’t do any work on it despite him saying it was good to go. I know they reset a bunch of codes and that was appreciated and I know that’s what the $100.00 diagnostic was for but my car still has the same problem and it’s very frustrating.

Fantastic service. Needed quick and immediate help on our truck after travelling from up North. They were quick to diagnose the problem and they called me before starting any work. Went above and beyond by cleaning under the hood for me which wasn’t necessary but certainly appreciated!

When it comes to my experience my Toyota showroom said I need to replace my brake pads which is almost got damaged when I took it to Scott @ Off-Whyte auto repair he said it still has 80% life left on my break pads.
Where showroom tried to make money out of me which the price was $600plus
But thanks to Scott for saving me from spending for no reason.

What a great place, reminds me of he 80s when service was about service and work ethic.

I needed some repairs. Trim needed to be removed.under my front bumper. Done. Quick. Priced fair.

Next wanted my transmission looked at. He said better go to a transmission shop, versus taking it in and charging for diagnostic tests.

Windshield wiper stopped working. I was ready to cry at home.

He got me in at 8 am, took my key, came back in 5 mins and said done. I thought he was joking. Nope just needed to tighten the screw, likely loosened during the brutal cold and snow 2 nights before.

Didn't charge me a dime. I offered to buy him lunch. I get free lunch where I work, and still said NO.

So I said, well you are getting a hug. He said OK.

What more can a lady want but honesty, integrity and fair decent pricing, plus great work.

I hope I don't need them.often, but knowing this shop exists to actually serve its customers is great comfort to me and anyone who needs the work done and to know they will not be ripped off.

Awesome and quick service. Had a last minute repair I needed done before work, and paid exactly what I was quoted for. Not only that, but they helped me with another minor fix I wasn’t able to figure out on my own. Highly recommend them

I’ve lived in YEG twice and Scott is my go to mechanic. He helped me two years ago and is still helping me now. I brought in my truck and some tires off marketplace as winters - I was worried my current winters would not last until the actual Winter comes. He called me back telling me the second hand tires I bought had been re-grooved and are extremely unsafe to drive. This was after he had already spent some time in his day on my truck. So he may have possibly saved my life to be honest… I picked up my truck without a fee and kept my old winters as per his advice and knowledge, seeing the tread and the brand, knowing they will last for me and I’ve no need to spend any more money.

I respect his advice and his trustworthiness so much. No games played here. Thanks Scott and the team!

I received such good service when I had come in to have my brakes looked at. Since I am a new car owner I was worried that due to my knowledge gap regarding vehicles someone may take advantage of me. My brother highly recommended this place and I can see why.

The shop could have had me pay for new brakes and I would have been none the wiser, but they were honest with me. The mechanic explained clearly what I needed to know and charged a fair price (which my brother confirmed) for the services that were performed on my brakes. I am so happy that I came to this shop!

We did a lot of research and pricing in our search for a new trusted automotive service! The air conditioner in our 2003 Camry had stopped working. My 2013 F-150 needed brakes so I shopped around for pricing and read the reviews. They hoisted my truck and we went over everything together. My budget was tight so they gave me a deal. Dealerships and other big businesses don't have much wiggle room with quotes. Whereas these guys are family operated and wanna help. They're really nice people and I strongly recommend them. "Be honest and support the honest. " Just ask for a quote. I strongly recommend this place

I went to Off-Whyte based on reviews and proximity. I started with a dead car that had been sitting for weeks and left with a fully functioning vehicle less than two days later. They went above and beyond to get my car running. The guys even drove over to my place to boost my car, saving me a painful tow. I can’t recommend this place enough. Honest and professional service without the up-sell you always get at dealerships. These guys do it all, including bodywork if you have trouble with rust. If you have issues with your vehicle, this is where you want to go!

I had my vehicle towed in after they were closed, and they were working on it the next morning as soon as they opened. They explained exactly what they did and what they found and charged me for the work they did (their shop rate is very good), and they even kept it for a bit after it was fixed to make sure the problem wouldn't re-occur. Hopefully I'll never need another mechanic but I will definitely go there if I do!
