Ogam Chicken

Well rounded meal. Ordered the bul go gi outstanding! Fast service. I’ll say it again - I loved the food outstanding. Ambiance sure isn’t spectacular but the authentic food makes up for this. Lots of young ppl & young couples eating here was easy on my wallet. Beef Marinade was so delicious. (Never tried they’re chicken)

Lovely little salad it was so good I ordered another full one tremendous dressing delicious flavour. I asked for medium spice & I got it 10/10.

Some of the best Korean fried chicken in Calgary. Great sized wings and the creamy garlic was a great surprise! Service is very nice and the atmosphere is very down to earth.

Try the tteokboki as well, very spicy and tasty.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it. The pork katsu and bulgogi were both delicious and generously portioned. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I can't wait to repeat!

I've tried most of the other Korean fried chicken places and ogam is my favorite. Definitely one of the crispiest chicken I've tried!

I took my mom there and if you know Korean moms, they are tough critics when it comes to Korean restuarants! She loved the food there! She had the 순두부 찌게 (soft tofu soup). Great value for good quality food, and it's great they provide a variety of menu options not just fried chicken. Friendly and attentive service as well!

Have been to three Korean chicken places in Calgary and was not terribly impressed. This is the best one I’ve been to so far.

Horrible. 40 mins wait for a simple dish and we were the ONLY table in the place. Will never come back.

I would have given a 4 star review but as some other reviews had mentioned the service was not great.
We ordered by phone for pick up and we were told 25-30min. Showed up at the 25 min mark and waited 50min from calling, waited around 25min when we got there.
Ordered a family combo and the chicken (pieces, bites, wings) were all great. Good crispness to them and a great taste. However the onion rings were a bit disappointing both portion wise and taste. I don’t think they are made on site like the chicken, just my take.
Would give a 3.5/5 if that was an option mainly cause of the service/experience because of the wait but otherwise the chicken itself is definitely worth a go

Great chicken very juicy and crunchy at the same time. The bone in chicken had the perfect amount of seasoning. This is one of my favorite chicken spots in Calgary. Great friendly welcoming customer service. The boneless chicken was flavourful and my kids really liked it. Ogam Korean fried chicken is some of the best chicken you can get, an Evan T. Davis original recommendation if you are in the Chinook area in Calgary.

I had been missing out. I see this place all the time and never went. Well I finally went tonight and the fried chicken is probably the best I've ever had. That creamy garlic one is way too delicious! I also recommend the cheesy onion rings. They also have very friendly staff. Definitely my go-to korean resto from now on and will try every thing on the menu.

Super good Chicken. The chicken was incredibly crispy. Service was super welcoming and nice. I got the Creamy Garlic chicken meal (10/10). I have also had Take out here and it was excellent.

The chicken is so crispy! It’s like no other fried chicken in calgary I highly recommend you try it if you haven’t!

Been an OGAM fan for so many years, however, I have noticed just recently that they now put unrecognizable piece (s) of chicken with the order aside from the expected/regular chicken leg, thigh and wings.a small boneless scrap piece of meat almost: - (VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I ordered 10 pcs of hot soy garlic over the weekend and I received 2 chicken legs, one chicken wing, and the rest are either pieces of half thighs and small boneless pieces of chicken meat. I guess I'm done with ogam chicken!

I used to really like Ogam. While the chicken bites are great, everything else is overpriced given the quantity and quality. Also, the saddest banchan.

Wow! First time here and it was amazing. Got the Ogam Combo A, which came with chicken, boneless chicken and fries. The food came out fast and the chicken was so, so good! Super crispy, just the way I like it. Tried the soy garlic and the creamy garlic sauces on the side, both were great. Great and prompt service, overall, fantastic lunch!

Their food is always so good. Ogam in Korean means 5 senses, I actually asked them what it meant.
The chicken is super crispy. And stays crispy even after hours later.

My family favorite when it comes to fried chicken.

Their Cheesy Bites are not only yummy, but they also come with generous servings (rice is extra though).

If you want to order by takeout, call ahead because they are usually busy.

Absolutely amazing, best fried chicken period! My family and I went in and didn’t realize they closed at 2: 30pm for their lunch break (we got there about 5mins before) but they still let us in and served us before closing. They were very friendly and accommodating and we really appreciated it!

There's too many Korean fried chicken places and they usually taste pretty similar, with most not hitting the mark perfectly. This place had the most unique and tastiest flavoring for the chicken with their hot soy. Crispy as hell chicken. Definite go to place on my next KFC need in Calgary.

Ok, this is legit, the BEST fried chicken in town! Makes KFC taste like dog food. It has a slight Korean spice with an incredible crunch and far less grease than the average fried chicken. You can go traditional or the chicken bites, both are the same breading but I prefer the original 3 piece. The meals are great portions and the sauce on the rice is so tasty it's my go to side. I recommend Ogam to everyone.

Generous servings, the breaded chicken was crispy and tender. Great taste, a bit of heat that you can taste once you finally stop eating to take a breath.

Great local chicken in a good location. Very consistent chicken flavour. The other dishes are just ok. I honestly only go here for chicken. Would recommend it!

I got the soy garlic and creamy garlic chicken and wow! The batter was still super crispy even on the 20 minute drive back home and the meat was still juicy. Plus the pieces were big! The creamy garlic was definitely our favorite. It was easy to order online through their website and was ready for pick up at the expected time. The staff were also very nice too!

So glad I found this place and saw it from the road a few times! They make the BEST chicken and also other Korean dishes. Have tried the creamy carlic and hot soy chicken and were amazing, the combos are great as you get the small bites as well. Great every time!

Such a good service for pick up, and keep food in best quality. I ordered online which can give you a10%off, I was in a rush and ignore the break time notice. Even with a bad mood on the phone, they still give me a pleasant service, and make the dishes in the fastest way. Thanks for the chief. The delicious crispy tasty chicken really cheer me up.

Always my go to chicken place. Really love their hot soy garlic and tteokbokki! Although it can be a bit pricey, I think it's worth it!:)

Love this restaurant! Definitely the best korean fried chicken i’ve had. I’ve tried all their flavours, and i love them all. The owners and staff are some of the most respectful people i’ve ever known as well, definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Been here twice now and the chicken has been cooked really well. Extremely crispy and delicious with the soy garlic sauce. If you're in the area, I highly recommend!

The chicken was excellent. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was really tasty but not overpowering. The price for the quantity of food is really good. We couldn't finish it all and had some the next day.wow still good re heated.

Wonderful authentic Korean style fried chicken. Their other Korean dishes are also tasty. Service is always friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

Chicken breading was too thick for me. I've tried other Korean fried chicken places, this is the thickest among all I've tried. I couldn't eat more than 2 pieces. I liked the crispiness of the breading and the taste and tenderness of meat though.

Tried this place with a buddy who loves it. It was overall a great experience, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the fries were crunchy with tasty salad accompanying. Wish they had spicier flavors, typical selections arent really impressive flavorwise. I would come back and try different dishes though such as their stone plates or BBQ dishes. Not a huge fan of the chicken here. Staff is really friendly and the service was pretty prompt. No table service btw!

Bibimbap is so good here! A bit pricier compared to other korean restaurants but it's really good! The best dolsot bibimbap in Calgary. Friendly service.

Creamy garlic and soy garlic flavours are personal favourites. Tteokbokki is super spicy but delicious. Great for some Korean fried chicken.

The food is really good, but my concern is that while i was waiting to be seated, i noticed that 2 servers cleaned up the tables by just wiping it with the used tissues from customers without sanitizing.pls.do extra cleaning.

I'm in love with their chicken bites. They're crispy, juicy, and there's just a hint of spice (regular/ original chicken bites). The chicken isn't "heavy", or greasy compared to something like KFC (though that has its merits sometimes). Thus, I would describe the flavor as light and balanced. I love that its not overly salty.a perfect recipe if I'd say. I haven't tried anything else on their menu.but I'm excited to see what else there is. My friends/ siblings always order a bunch of stuff, and hear good reviews from them This review is based solely on the food though. The one time I dined, there wasn't anything particularly noteworthy about service, but nothing bad either.
