Rude customer service, 4 of the 5 washes I’ve done there I’ve been interrupted and bossed around by the cashier

Hi Esso - I want gas. But - Do you even want my money?

If so, why are all your machines broken?

Why does it take your machine 60 seconds to process after any button is pressed?

Can we please replace machines with ones from this decade?

Why does it beep after a button is pressed but nothing happens?

I put my card in and I don’t remove - Machine detects the card is removed

I put my card in and remove quickly - Machine feels like I didn’t do it quickly enough and it’s an error.

Please I would like to fill gas without a car wash, I appreciate the upswell but the buttons already don’t work and the processor is from 1995.

Please if there is an error - does your machine really need to beep like 40 times? Like 3 would be enough?

If I could give a zero star rating I would as the Chinese gentleman that owns this business is one of the most ignorant and arrogant business owners I have ever met, do not support this guy's business

What can I say? “Ogden Esso: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious. ” LoL in all actuality these moisture farmers are the cream of the crop. Fuel is always priced competitively, car wash issues are dealt with swiftly (and credited) and they have an awesome selection of snacks/convenience products. PC Optimum points and all. This is my go-to gas station:)

I've tried to wash my MDX 3 different times, in the last month. And not once was there any soap in the wash cycle. I've tried to talk with the staff about the problem, they've never seemed interested or given any explanation why there's been no soap, so I have managed to spend $12 to rinse my vehicle off. Very disappointing.

Service is always great.car wash is always in working order and clean.one of the only places with free air and working clean vaccum machines.
They take great care of it.always neat, organized and clean!

Terrible car wash. Almost no soap comes out. You can just barely see a little bit of bubbles but honestly it is pretty much just straight water

Never ever has paper towel out side
Or washer fluid to clean the windows.
No one is ever cleaning the pump especially now with the virus.

Friendly and hard-working staff. I've seen customers be rude and offensive towards the employees, yet they still put a smile and provide great service. Very affordable car wash prices.

A small esso gas station but with cash wash and even a touchless one. The convenience store is small too.

Went in like I have for 20 years to wash my car I had some smoothie on the floor in my car well I was spraying the car the women comes out and say no hand washing I tell her I haven’t she says the owner seen me on camera hand washing my car never have never would I bother my son used a towel to clean the floor but no she’s standing there calling me a liar never I have felt so mistreated being called liar based on the owner looking through a camera from home sadly this place will be my last choice from now on sadly they don’t know how to treat there long time customers hope the rest of Ogden boycotts them.

Sick and tired of the pumps never working and sick of the lousy RUDE Staff and Customer Service here. I went in to say the pump had frozen and wasn't working and was told that, I must be doing something wrong, or that it's my Card. MY FAULT. Not their machine. I stuck my Card in, I picked my fuel amount and it froze. Before I could enter my PIN or Acct. I kept pushing buttons on the Gas Bar and nothing was happening. So I left and went elsewhere.
Once out of the Carwash, people will wipe their Vehicles down with a Rag, if the Lady there catches that, she comes out screaming and chasing them away. Saying their taking up space and need to leave right after the wash. I've witnessed this on 2 accounts. Both people had pulled out of the Car Wash and off to the side of the building. Not in anyone's way, or holding up the non-line she has.
You guys need friendlier staff and pumps that work!
Thank God for the Gas Plus right next door. Who usually have better pricing anyway.

Touchless car wash is terrible. Came out dirtier then when I went in.rewashed with their wand wash. Cold water and expensive.

The woman there is a lunatic and rude as hell. She is snarky if you ask for loonies for the wash ("I'll do it THIS time", she says like some martyr) and if you take too long washing your car (even though nobody is waiting), she'll come out and tell you to leave. This is not an isolated incident. My friend was asked to leave after he took the time to wipe off his headlights and was told "no hand-washing". I'm pretty certain that people showing up and giving their business is some kind of put-out to her. I suggest you respect her wishes and go elsewhere.

The most ignorant and ruderude s I've ever seen at a gas station. This place went downhill hard.

Great store albeit tight to get around they really o are your convenience store. Staff are on. Gas and Car wash available sometimes the store is to crowded and you can't get around or what you want cause it's PACKED and they only ever have so much staff on duty

This gas station used to be owned by a lovely family for many years. Now unfortunately, new management has taken over and what used to be a pleasant place to fill up and wash my car, is a place I will never go to again. After filling up my car and purchasing an over-priced Armour All, I asked the cashier if I could get five loonies for the car wash. I was told that she will only do it this "one time because I could be using the loonies for something else", either than the car wash. (even if I was, what is wrong with making change for a customer that just spent sixty dollars at your store?) Once I finished washing my car with the five loonies she gave me, I got out to wipe down the headlights and was told I needed to leave and that I was taking too much time. (less than two minutes after I finished washing the car was taking too long in the stall?) Meanwhile the other three car wash stalls sat open, but they made a point of coming out of the store, walking into the stall and telling me to leave because the two minutes I spent wiping down my headlights was too long. I will never shop hear again and will make a point of tell everyone I know to do the same.

Great service, sometimes runs out of gas or has issues with the pumps but staff is always friendly and problems are fixed quickly.

Short time on carwash water. Went to go big bucket and spend $10 and was still dirty. I felt ridiculous. Don't went back to esso and didn't myself.
