Oil Country Towing

I called them for towing at 6am in the morning confirmed everything and told me I had to wait 8hrs which is fine. 8hrs come by called them to see any updates and they told me they don’t have any of my records and told me they had a 15hrs wait which I'm not waiting for. So yea thanks for making me wait all day for nothing.

Didn't end up using their service, as my insurance company took over, but the representative I spoke to on the phone on Dec 9 2023 approx 9am was absolutely awesome. Polite, courteous and honest, I called trying to get my vehicle towed to collision reporting center knowing very little about how this works as I've never been in an accident before. The person I spoke with was caring and worried I may end up paying unnecessary fees and that I should reach out to my insurance first. Really appreciate this person explaining everything to me and being so respectful and caring.

Bigoted. I ask for service, and because of the long 5 hour wait time, I couldn’t stay and had to go to work. They call me to ask for more money, to which I was complying, I was in the middle of a meeting at work. The gentleman on the other end did not like the fact I was busy. He was rude, aggressive, and stated “i can’t be on hold and run around for you all day”. He was the one who put me on hold, i asked him to wait one moment so I could leave the meeting. After trying to make sure I wasn’t giving my credit card to the wrong people, he got even more aggressive stating “well I said it was oil country towing so that’s stupid” STUPID? I’m SORRY? !? !? I’m sorry but that’s absolutely unacceptable and unnecessary. You are not the only ones who get busy, you are not the only ones with things to do. Why should I bend over backwards for a company that doesn’t care about their clients or customers.get it together

Very disappointed with service. Long story short. It took them 7 hrs, 2 different trucks to tow my truck from leduc to edmonton. Woman on a phone was aggressive, unprofessional and rude.
Damaged my bolts from driveshaft. No discount, no apologies not even single sorry for anything.

The last guy they sent with flat deck, was good and professional. He had to apologize for hole company.

I've used them 3 times. Always excellent service, thanks to Lindsay and Paul (I think it was). On top of that, this last time I used them they were significantly less expensive than one of their competitors for the same trip.

Being stranded in a car wash bay was not ideal, Lindsay came to the rescue today, car would not start and required to be towed to the dealership, Professional and very nice, very little wait time. My son enjoyed the experience, wants to be a tow truck driver (watches too much Highway Thru Hell) Thank you for the great service!

Brandon Lungle was extremely helpful today! He went beyond and above to help my mom when our car was having some issues. Thank you so much for your services, I won’t hesitate to call the company again when we need help!

Needed a car towed from Red Deer to Leduc, scheduled for the Tuesday and everything went smoothly.

Needed another tow months later, just in town. They came to tow the car to my garage promptly, and we were home in 40 minutes. Reasonable prices, good drivers, good receptionist on phone.

Phone at 8 AM on a Saturday to get trucked towed to local shop. Was home by 9 AM to have coffee. Great response and service for a outstanding local company.

Unreal customer service! The young man on the phone and the one driving the truck were both so polite and kind. Other than my car dying, it was a great experience!

Driving up to Edmonton from Calgary on QE2 and I had some difficulties with my car. We were just outside of Leduc and this company responded and were there within 18 minutes to help me out. Thank you so much you guys you are awesome

Had a flat tire this morning, -35 degrees. Oil County Towing were courteous and accommodating from the very first interaction with dispatch. The driver, Lindsay, that came to my rescue was pleasant (despite the cold) polite and went above and beyond with the level of service, making sure I was ok and put air in another tire that he thought was low. Shout out to you all!

Their night dispatcher we talked on the phone with was completley amazing. Coordinated a drop off to a location because the call would have come at 1 in the morning. Very lovely and professional. Will recommend this place to anyone.

I can say enough about Oil Country Towing.my experience was FANTASTIC.called the night before to set a time for pick up, they told me they couldn't promise that due to the current weather we are having which is totally understandable. Called this morning right on time to tell me the driver was on its way. Car towed and made it to work on time. Great, affordable and highly recommended service. A HUGE thanks to the whole Oil Country TEAM!

My mom called today to have her car boosted. The man on the phone was rude and short with her, told her he would call her back, then hung up on her before she could give him a #. My mom figured he was annoyed with her because he had a hard time hearing her, but I was sitting next to her and she was very understandable. I know it's cold today and he may have been busy but to treat a customer who is willing to pay $60 just to have her car boosted is outrageous. Never again will I use this place. Absolutely horrible service.

My van broke down between Edmonton and Nisku so I called AMA they sent this company out, the young man (forgot to ask his name) showed up in a very nice truck. He took direction great and a true professional in his performance and attitude he went above and beyond in his service, this is how I’ve always been no matter what business I have done and it’s something we don’t see a lot in today world. He even helped push my van in the stall where I wanted to park it. This young man gets six stars hope he enjoys his holiday he said he was going on.

I parked at the airport for a week, and when I returned from my trip at midnight I found out that my car battery had died while I was away. I called multiple "24 hour services" and had no answer, had one company tell me their truck wouldn't fit in the parkade, and the dispatcher suggested Oil Country Towing. I called and was helped right away, it took him barely 10 minutes to get there, smile on his face and ready to help! He boosted my car and had me on my way in no time! I was so thankful, I will keep this company in mind if I ever need their services again, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need! Jason you rock! Thank you!

Gordon and the 2nd truck (the blocker - I didn't get his name but he had great hair and beard) arrived sooner than the 1 hour estimated time frame. The price was reasonable and I could tell that safety was a high priority. Both gentlemen were great to work with and very helpful and polite. If I were ever stranded in the QE2 near Leduc or Nisku again, I would definitely call again.

Thank you to Oil Country Towing, and especially to their operator Rahall, for their professional and courteous service. It's not a good feeling to be stranded on the highway for over an hour and they were very kind and professional. I recommend them highly!

I would like to acknowledge Dan Brewster. I had an appointment in Edmonton and I was quoted 2 hours wait. I was so pleased when Dan showed up10 minutes later. He was so nice put air in my tire and double checked everything. He really saved my day as I arrived just in time for my appointment. Thank you Dan and Oil Country Towing.

We had a vehicle illegally parked in our stall at a condo we own in the city. Since they are assigned the contract for our condo, we called them for their services. Although having to go through providing paperwork to prove our ownership for our parking stall, they came out within 30 minutes to tow the illegally parked vehicle. Although it would be more helpful if they provide more clear towing policies with our management company for those who own a condo, not just for tenants.

Chris was amazing! He came and winched us out of the ditch on a snowy day - we were particularly far in so he figured out some good creative ways to get us out - changing his approach to get the job done. He made sure we got on the road safely again and was amazingly professional and great at what he does! Give him a raise!: P

I slid off the highway sat night into the ditch. I had a angel named jessy on the phone working hard to get someone to help me out of my car as I'm a senior and I have two bad legs. He arrived locked my car got me into another vehicle who took me home. At 3 am rahall delivered my car ever so gently backing it into my driveway, then starting it to insure it ran. I've used this company in the past and will continue to support them

On August 29 at 11pm, tow truck #30 came to the Edmonton International Airport for rescue after us being stuck there for 3+ hours thanks to CAA dispatch sending drivers to the wrong airport twice!
The guy went above and beyond and looked for booster cables in his truck when the ones on the truck did not work instead of just leaving us and telling us to wait for another truck. He stayed and asked his Co workers and looked for extra cables to give us the boost. Great service!

Amazing service by Cody Campbell. He turned a stressful late night event after a long day of work into a great positive atmosphere. Although my car will not be surviving this winter, I was able to get home save with a smile on my face due to the excellent service provided!

I got into a car accident mid November (a hit and run) & my insurance refused to assist me with the tow bill. As a result of the accident I was unable to work and placed on disability benefits which paid my based on my old job as a student $550 a month. I spoke with Don and he knocked off $300 from my bill. 3 months later I paid my bill and collected my items form the car thank you Don. 5 service!

Today my girl locked her key in the SUV, both the dealership and the app designed to help with these situations couldn't remotely unlock it due to cancelling these services in North America. We were told to have the vehicle flat towed to the dealership which is about a 40 min drive alone, real inconvenience but such is life. But when Cody Campbell showed up, he not only saved us the 40 min flat tow, he unlocked the vehicle in under 2 min. He saved us the time there and back, plus the dealership wait time and the cost! Will definitely be using this company again thanks to this guy!

Locked myself out of my vehicle @ 10: 30 PM at night. Lady on the phone was very friendly and professional. Tow truck came out exactly when she said it would and even called me as requested to let me know when the tow truck arrived as requested since i was working nearby.

Oil Country Towing saves the day. We were heading home from the airport and about to turn left at a busy intersection when out transmission locked in park. Many good sameritains tried to help but no luck. Then Keith arrived and worked his magic. Not only did he get us out of the traffic but he made it so we could safely travel home. So grateful for his big smile and amazing service!

Over the last few weeks I’ve had the miss fortune of being towed 3 times. Charlie towed my vehicle the first and third time and Lindsay and Andrew towed it the second. Very professional and courteous! Highly recommend this company!

Charlie is a great guy! Went the xtra mile and saved us off the hi way on a freezing winter night. Arrived in half an hour and even drove us all the way home! If you're looking for a reliable personable honest person, Charlie is the one to go to!
