Was OK nothing to brag about, the broth was tasty but the meat lacked flavor, but will definitely not ever be returning with the current girl they have working there she didn't eben say one word to me.no hello, nothing then hands me my food and rolls her eyes.if the owner is reading this, hire someone else, you'd be doing your business a huge favor.

I went to grab a noodle bowl for my son yesterday. While the food was good, the lady at the front needs some education on how to interact with the public. Her customer service skills are atrocious. As soon as I ordered and paid, she waved me away and took out her phone to play games. I was disgusted as she is also cooking and handling the food while she is playing games on her phone. Never going back there again.

Great tonkatsu (pork) ramen; the kamikaze is our go-to. Sometimes a little shy on the fixings, (one half egg etc), but for the price and quality it's still fair.

Tonight was my first time trying this place and I was very satisfied with my meal. I had the sumo ramen bowl and it was delicious, highly recommend:) I'll be back

Soup was not warm, raw cabbage was weird in Ramen, noodles were not cooked enough. Totally 1 star. Egg was OK.

Absolutely terrible. Food is NOT fresh and made my son sick.

We ordered a Poke bowl for my child and rather than salmon, it was tuna - which was fine. Issue was the food was not fresh and tuna was extremely fishy tasting. I tried it when my child said it tasted horrible in case it was a case of simple whining, this was not the case. The tuna was so disgusting I too spit it out. The rice was also super over cooked and soggy like congee porridge. For $14 you'd expect some quality.

Price is ridiculous for what you get especially since it isn't fresh. $14 for a small poke bowl.wow.

Service was horrible too! All she did was sit there in her phone and as soon as I went up to order and pay, it was attitude capital like I disturbed her. I have no idea what she thinks a job is but she definitely doesn't understand what a job is in my opinion.

I highly do NOT recommend this joint, it is one of the top worst places I have ever been too.

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. Definitely not what you would expect from a smaller mom and pop style food joint.

We got the sumo. The broth is good but the egg was about to go bad, noodles overcooked, veggies slightly undercooked, the "cha shu" was tough like jerky. It seems like everything is already made and the employee just needs to heat it up but maybe due to lack of experience, nothing except for the broth and mushrooms was really working out.

The ramen looks good, but meats taste slightly old, ramen was way too soaked and almost dissolving, the broth has a super pungent taste of salty mushroom with no flavour of pork. Eggs were also a little old to taste.

The Ahi Poke bowl was really salty, bitter, and barely had any tuna. I was not able to finish it.

Let's just say that my bowl of broth, noodles and veggies took 20 minutes - at a food fair - in a market. My other two family members had ordered, received their food and finished eating before I got mine. Too long and not really worth the wait.

I decided to go to The Calgary Farmers' Market today! First time being there, a lot bigger than it appears from the outside! Glad I went, because I stumbled upon this gem! I decided to get the SUMO Ramen, and let me tell you, hella worth the $15! I’m not big on the thick noodles but these were super good and the broth, omg the broth! Sooooo rich and packed full of flavour! I will be back for sure!

Honestly this place is not good ramen. I have had lots of ramen and decided to order from here to try it. Not very flavourful, beef is way over cooked to the point that it’s like rubber, and very little broth given. I think I can make much better ramen at home. Hopefully they can get better than what I got because it was extremely disappointing

Lukewarm, flavourless broth, soggy flavourless tofu, and the noodles aren’t even ramen noodles. Easily the worst ramen I’ve ever paid for.

I was pretty excited about this, especially reading the reviews about it but i was somewhat disappointed. The bowl I got was the first one on the menu. Kazimake.

1.) Broth is great! The best part!
2.) Meat was good but wished it was marinated and had more flavor
3.) Mushroom was a good touch.

Noodles was the one that threw everything out the window.

Overall, it was a good experience.

I have been trying ramen all over Calgary and this is one of the very best! Don’t mind the humble food court vibe, the food is worth a try.

I know I have said this before, but I want this place to stick around so give it a chance it's delicious, I beg of you.

I just want to add that the mushrooms selection and quality are magnificent. Broth also. And noodles were swell.

Make your own ramen option is delicious with so many toppings! Super high quality at an excellent price, please help keep this place open!

Tried it for the first time today and got the Sumo Ramen. It was delicious! Sadly I ate it too quickly to take a photo

I was finally able to check out Oishidesu (ordered through Skip) and it was great. I've been to about a dozen or so ramen shops in Calgary but always in person, never delivered. However, the food was still amazing! Ordered the Sumo Ramen and Edamame beans and it didn't disappoint. The broth is flavourful, perfect consistency and silky smooth. Good meat/veg ratio, with pork, chicken and beef going up against carrot, cabbage and nori. The best part for me was the Tea Eggs that come with the ramen. End of the day, I have no bad words to say about this place.

I tried out the sumo on a trip to the Calgary Farmer's Market. First of all the portion is pretty small (especially since it's $15). The broth was good, although quite oily. The chicken was tender, but the pork belly and brisket were both tough and chewy. The mushrooms imparted a terrible flavour throughout and the combination of ingredients didn't go together at all in terms of flavour.

Made a takeout order and was extremely disappointed.

Item 1 was supposed to be a vegetable ramen with an extra egg, on their ordering page says: . "Regular noodles with fried tofu served with grape tomatoes, wakame seaweed, carrot, microgreens, and nori. "

We got a bowl of noodles, carrots, brocolli and cauliflower; which came from clearly from a frozen bag. No tofu, no extra egg.

Called back to ask if there was a mistake and I was told that this was correct, and next time to order properly.

Item 2 was supposed to be a Sakura ramen.
Meat and vegetables clearly were frozen for a LONG time before getting thawed this morning. The green onions were the only thing that were even close to fresh. I didnt know it was possible to cook such dry tasteless chicken.

Will definitely never go back. Would rate 0 if possible.

If you are looking for a perfectly sized, excellent ramen I highly recommend you stop by! Located inside the Calgary Farmer’s Market, this ramen shop features a build-your-own ramen option which was excellent. Their broth was flavourful and the toppings were delicious. The pork could have used some extra flavour by grilling, but overall it is an excellent choice for lunch!

Not a refined bowl of ramen at all, IMO.
Pork was far from tender, broth has little depth, quantity left quite a bit to be desired.

This is a stall located in the Avenida food hall. It is located near the front entrance, just swing a right when entering. We ordered sumo Ramen, which contains all the meat choices at a cost of fifteen dollars a bowl. The ramen was flavourful and the meat was tender. The red Ice was our beverage and it was refreshing with a very pleasant but not overpowering sweetness. Almost if you would have bottled a warm summer day. I would highly recommend. The ramen is prepared fresh and made to order.

Pass. The chicken was sooo small and was bland. Should of went to mcdonald's instead of spending 11$

We ordered 2 sumo ramens, one with mushroom and one without (allergy) as well as added extra toppings. When our food arrived, we were starving so we ate immediately, only to realize that our orders had been completely mixed up. The no mushroom had mushrooms, the toppings for the mushroom sumo were on the no mushroom. We didn’t notice all this at first because a) there’s a lot of ingredients in the bowls and b) who is going to pick through each bowl to make sure it’s all there. From our first impression, it looked alright, his had the extra eggs on top, mine was covered in red Chili, so we knew who’s was who’s. Unfortunately a light allergy attack was the result of the mix up. I immediately filled out Skip The Dishes complaint form, but never heard back. So we called the next day, not expecting a refund or anything mind you, just to explain to them what had gone wrong for us. The owner then ranted to me on the phone that we should’ve thoroughly inspected our order first, and that since we have no photo of our order, it made it difficult for her to show the chefs what went wrong. After 5 minutes of her ranting, and holding the phone away from my ear as they went on and on, I thanked her and said goodbye. I agree that we should’ve taken a photo, but again, we just wanted to let them know that they screwed it up - not get victim blamed for THEIR mistake. We won’t be returning just because of the error in our order, but the lack of professionalism in handling a situation that never should’ve happened in the first place. Very disappointed and will be taking our business to a location we can trust.

Honestly it’s bland pork belly only get basically a bacon strip but no flavour. Tried the somo ramen chicken and beef were the same asked the restaurant for a can of sprite/7 up but got a Pepsi over all the worst ramen experience I’ve had ever

Ordered 3 ramen soups through UBEReats, the sumo which was suppose to have pork chicken and beef, had a piece of BACON for the pork part, I was expecting a Charsiu as the usual for a ramen not a bacon looking thin pork belly meat.

The food here is always delicious, I love the vegan options! The owner Arce is very friendly and you can clearly see his passion for food in the way he created the menu! Delicious, affordable and I am happy to support a local shop!

I ordered a poke tuna bowl, completely unimpressed, the tuna was not good at all, it only taste like vinegar and spice. Not at all for what I was specting from a Poke bowl.

Was very good, fresh, however not the best Ramen I have had. Just seemed like a smaller portion for the cost as it was similar in cost to other places. Overall I might have it again.

Best ramen place in South Calgary. Flavourful broth and not as heavy as other ramen places. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
