My van wasn’t working well. After it sat at a Honda dealership for many days as they scratched their heads, we decided to take it to OK tires. So glad we did. They ended up diagnosing the issue for a fraction of the cost than what the dealer was suggesting and had in and out of the shop in no time.

Took the van in this week with a clunky sound …and of course they found the issue and fixed it the first time around.

Happy we found a reliable service shop.

I have been seeing this A-grade crew for a few years now regarding auto maintenance needs and questions. A great establishment. They always communicate to you what is truly recommended to keep your automobile running. No upselling here.

I dealt with Manny and Martin I believe his name is. Best service I have received and very friendly and out going. They get things done and fast. If you have any questions don't hesitate to give them a call they will answer all your questions and help you find a solution. Will recommend to others.

After months of strange intermittent electrical problems, hundreds of dollars later, and no one able to figure out what was going on with my car, I called this OK Tire location after seeing many fantastic reviews. The gentleman who I spoke to on the phone explained they were booked up through to January (this was early December) but still spoke to me at length about my problem and even offered a solution. (Getting a new key for my Chevy.) And like magic, my car is problem free! The gentleman clearly has a lot of valuable experience with the kind of unusual problems that stump other mechanics/dealerships.
I’m so relieved and thankful, and I will be coming here for all my future vehicle needs!

I never feel like an idiot here. They are so helpful and answer any questions I have, no matter how inexperienced the question is. Very easy going and chill. I love this place.

I personally deal with Manny each time I need to bring my car here. My boyfriend had recommended him and this very shop a couple years back as he’s apparently been his and his family’s holy grail mechanic for years. And now has become mine.

Staff are super knowledgeable in their field of expertise, quality of work 5 stars, HONEST, personable… and the pricing is beyond fair.

Coming from a woman that’s not so mechanically inclined on vehicles, I’ve never been made to feel stupid for asking questions or felt taken advantage of after dealing with anyone from this shop. Unlike some other places.

Bought a set of used winter tires mounted on rims from Kijiji but noticed I was missing a balance weight on one of the wheels. Brought it in and they checked the balance for me right away and didn’t charge me anything for it. Great guys. Thanks.

Always a pleasant experience. They are very professional and accommodating, specially Martin who usually takes care of my car and he goes above and beyond to help out in any way he can.

Martin and Manny are the only people I bring my vehicle to for service and advice on any concerns or worries I have. Their expertise and top-notch customer service is reassuring and helpful in navigating the difficulties associated with vehicle repair and maintenance. I will not say anything good about OK Tire on Northmount, simply because I would like to keep this gem of a mechanic repair place as hidden as possible for my own benefit. Went in to get my wheels torqued and to get my e brake not stuck. They told me my ball joints were really bad and needed to be done, they said my truck is “dangerous to drive”. Quoted me $3000 for the work. I took my truck to the Ford dealership it was purchased at, they took a look at the balljoints and said they are in perfect condition. These guys tried to rip me off $3000. Dont take your vehicle to them. They are dirty and shady just trying to rip people off.

Very convenient shop. Booked an appointment in advance, and my truck was taken on time. Fairly priced.

I forgot his name but a tire tech stayed late for me to pick up my car after work. I had to bike from downtown. We were joking and he was super friendly. I was impressed overall and would recommend this place to anyone.

Have been using this location for 7+ years. It was the local shop but the service is so good it continues to be worth the drive from Airdrie for service or buy tires. Well worth the wait if they are booked solid because the service is so good.

Fantastic shop. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Explained everything and gave me options. Brought my vehicle in for an out of province inspection. They were super accommodating for my awful schedule.

Been going to Manny for years with my family. Tires are always done in a short amount of time and all the people that work in the shop are great. I wish I could give these guys 10 stars, they have done lots of work for me from simple oil changes to lift kits and bigger tires. The gentleman at the front desk are absolute gems and are always willing to help. None of the people there are afraid to get dirty they are always willing to get on their backs in the dirt to solve your problem.

Manny and Martin are knowledgeable, friendly, down to earth and HONEST. They always explain the job, and don't BS about the price.
I usually get an estimate from them, and they frequently come in lower than the estimate, even if it takes them longer. I've had work done on a few cars there, and have always been satisfied. Even though I don't go there a lot, they always remember my name when I go through the door, and as I said, they are friendly and honest

Fantastic service! We love these guys. We have taken 3 vehicles here over the years for oil changes and switching between winter and summer tires. They are always extremely helpful, polite, and fairly priced. They are also dog friendly

This is the best customer service I have received! They always take the extra time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. I have been going to them every since I moved to Calgary and it’s the only place I’ll take me car. Can’t say enough good things about them.

Can’t say enough good things about this shop! This is the kinda place you hope to find; a mechanic that is trustworthy and has your best interest at heart. On more than one occasion I’ve brought my car in expecting a big bill and have been pleasantly surprised to have the fix simple and cheap. They always tell you what needs to be done now and what can wait, making sure you don’t have to spend money needlessly. This is what customer service looks like!

I had a cyclic/squeaky noise coming from the front end of the car, I took it to several other places who told me it was a severe safety issue, which I did not believe. Finally I took the car over to OK tire to Manny and Martin who were really honest about the problem and did an inspection for free and figured it wasn’t that big of an issue. If anyone’s looking for honest and trustworthy mechanics in Calgary, these are the guys!
They filled up my windshield fluid for free as well!

I have a difficult work schedule and they were able to get me in on short notice to help repair a flat. They were all super friendly and professional! Totally saved me today thank you all!

Thank you OK Tire northmount for always giving me and my family top notch service. Manny, Martin, and Kyle are the guys running the front end and won't BS you. We live in Cochrane and will NOT go anywhere but this shop. I've also talked to the technician Adrian who we've got to know for the past 13 years many times and I know he takes pride in his work. They did over 6 grand worth of work truck including rear differential rebuild/overhaul, sent me pictures of before and after the repairs and worked through the weekend to make sure I had my truck back for work Monday. My wife's vehicle was at the dealer for a air bag recall. I got a call within 30 min of dropping it off saying it was done but they recommend replacing the timing cover seal because of a major oil leak and that my brakes were at 1mm and I shouldn't even drive it home. I immediately called Manny, he asked me to drop by on my way back to Cochrane, they brought the car in right away. Re inspected my car and found I had over 6mm brakes all around and my car was bone dry.no leaks.go figure. I'm very grateful for these guys, keep up the good work.

They've always treated me honestly. The first time I had service here, they gave me a refund for an extra service I ended up not needing. I've been a regular customer for six years since then.

I have been a customer of Northmount Dr. OK tire for more than 20 years. In fact, I have dealt with two different owners and numerous front desk personnel and technicians during that time. All of my interactions have been most positive and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know a number staff almost at a personal level, so much so that many of my visits feel like social visits. I appreciate the fact that they know me by name and I know many of them by name. I particularly appreciate and enjoy my interactions with Kyle, Manny, and Martin. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They know me and my vehicles and I trust them totally. If they tell me that I require a particular repair or service, I never question them; I have that service or repair done as they advise. It’s that trust that is of paramount importance to me. Fair pricing and the excellent all round service they provide is a bonus! I also very much appreciate the fact that on several occasions they have found a way to “fit me in” when they were actually fully booked. I will continue to be a loyal customer at Northmout O. K. Tire for as long as I have vehicles to service. I expect when the time comes for me to hang up my keys, I’ll continue to drop in for social visits now and then and I’ll probably continue to bring them donuts!

Last month I took my 2018 vehicle with 30000 Kms on it into the dealership for its scheduled maintenance. I did have them look at something extra and they found it to be a warranty issue and took care of it. But they also told me my brakes had issues and required a $1000 brake job. A little leery about this diagnosis I called the closest shop to my house, OK tire, for a second opinion and talked with Martin on the phone. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about and he invited me in to have him look and see if the brake service was actually required. I showed up and he took a look and took the vehicle for a test drive. We had a good chat and he assured me that things were good to go and hypothesizes that maybe the dealership was trying to recover money lost due to the warranty work they had to do. We chatted some more and I found him knowledgeable, friendly and no BS. A buddy of mine uses these guys for tires and says the same about Manny. I’ll be using these guys from now on when it comes my vehicles. Highly recommend. From my experience with car shops it’s hard to sift through the bs. I like these guys and I really appreciate that Martin took the time to help me out on the phone and in person.

I was recommended this store by a friend, I really owe that friend lunch! The experience was unlike any I have ever encountered in the automotive industry and I've worked in the industry for over 10 years. I knew what tires I wanted, showed up and they booked me an appointment for the following day. I arrived exactly on time for my appointment where I was greeted and politely asked to wait when they took my keys. In what I thought was a very short time I was handed my keys back and explained If I didn't have my own way to re-torque the lug nuts I was welcome to come back to have them do it.

I will drive by over 20 other places to get to this business every time, I'm very lucky to have been referred to them! Great job to the whole team! I sincerely thank you!

I called on Friday to schedule an appointment for changing oil and a dead headlight. They got me in right after the weekend on Monday, with multiple options for when I could come. They were friendly, they were willing to explain my oil options simply and without judgment, they gave me a very affordable price, they were open with me about why it was taking longer than expected (it took an extra half hour to get stock delivered), and they gave me a quote for another issue they found without pressuring me to schedule that work with them right away. I'm overall very happy with my experience there today.

The staff and service at OK Tire on Northmount has always been excellent. The guys up front, like Manny have always explained what needs to be done and approximate cost for the work. I don’t feel that they do any unnecessary work like we’ve experienced at some garages. They go above and beyond with their customer service which is why we take all of our vehicles to them. We’ve always been very satisfied with the work they have done and the one time we had a problem after the repair they were quick to pinpoint what was causing the problem and repaired it. I would definitely recommend OK Tire on Northmount.

I have recommended many friends, and they always leave the shop happy. Manny and Kyle are honest and most of the times the estimates are 100% accurate or the invoices come out to be cheaper than quoted. If I could give this repair shop 10/5 starts I would.
