I bought a new 2024 Honda CRV without even seeng the car. In a few days it was delivered as promissed and as advertised. The nagotiating process was quick and easy and all was signed in half an hour. All the guys I met at Okotoks Honda were respectful and business minded. Their advertising slogan is "It's worth the trip" and I agree. I think I did good for my self by going from Calgary to Okotoks to find a car. Mind you, they have better car selection on their lot than any Honda dealership in Calgary. I was in all 4 Honda dealerships in Calgary and could not find the CRV trim I was looking for. I am now driving the car and I like it.
I hope that Okotoks Honda will be as good to me regarding the warranty and maintenance as they were helpful so far.

Overall good experience with this dealership except for Mike in the parts dept.
I got a blank key from a trusted seller vendor, had Mike cut the key for me. Got home and tested the key. Key was poorly cut with sharp edges everywhere (can almost cut your finger holding it) is almost impossible to be inserted in the ignition so I have to soften the edges to make it work. Got it inserted but wouldn’t turn at all (this is with all the electronics that I have on my other key). Tried multiple times, no success at all.

Called Mike today, only to tell me that he is not liable for it and there’s no warranty for the work he have done (being my first time getting a key cut, this guy didn’t even warn me that 3rd party keys have a 50/50 chance of it not working instead he went ahead and cut it, oh and ALSO, he charged me $20 instead of $12 which was originally quoted for, unbelievable!).

Don’t know but this seems like a cash grab, he wouldn’t even want to negotiate for a resolution. The context that I got from him is-this is my mistake and I’m on my own now with money being wasted on the blank key and the service for the cutting. I hope this serves a warning for whoever’s gonna deal with the parts department in the future. BE AWARE!

Today, 2021-08-27, I brought a 2017 Honda Civic from Okotoks Honda.

I'm extremely pleased with the car and believe that I got a fair deal.

Everyone there was so nice and willing to answer my questions. Jerry Beltran, my salesman, was terrific. He worked with me to come up with a price that I could afford. He was able to lower the price a bit and waited until the end of the month when I would have the balance to pay for the car.

Okotoks Honda made buying a used car an enjoyable experience. I give Jerry and Okotoks Honda five out of five stars.

First time at this dealer. What an experience. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. I dealt with Ben, he was fantastic and knowledge 2nd to none. He was open and honest a rare thing in a salesperson, which made you comfortable and not stressed.
Secondly the finance person was Gina, she explained everything in such a format it was easy to understand if such a thing in finance.
I didnt think I would ever own a Honda because of the stigma of being pricey, however I WAS WRONG.

Showed up to buy out a car. They were nice enough to help me load spare tires. The assistant shop manager is amazing and such an outstanding, upbeat guy.

Was going to put 4 star but i dont think its all their fault but after being told the car was services 2 months ago and nothings wrong with it.its entirely possible the tie rod went since then. I have to go get that fixed. Other then that i had a great experience there as everyones professional and great to talk with.

I had my honda crv 2020 black edition and im so very happy with my parents, highly recommended honda okotoks. My sales agent is marvin ogayon.

Marvin was super helpful throughout the process. He brought the vehicle into calgary for me to give it a test drive which was very convenient. There was some stress when it came to determining the terms for full down payment vs financing. After a number of phone calls with Gina we sorted it out and I'm pretty happy with the vehicle. The detailing service was excellent and the used vehicle smelled like new.

Edit: Found some small things that I wish I knew of before. Tailgate doesn't lock, small aftermarket logo installed that was broken, fog light cracked. While I should have noticed these things myself and I can't expect the dealership to know everything, I wish they would have informed me of these things. Not deal breakers, though the deal was already done.
