Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

This place make me hate Olive Garden. They are not welcoming and I always regret it when I go.
The salad was not fresh and it taste different
The waiter is rude and not welcoming.

Good Place and Food. Love The Bread Sticks and All You Can Eat Salad. It’s Quick Food and Pricey On The Whole

First experience and won't be back. Salad was soggy and very tangy tasting. Bread sticks were okay. Chicken marsala was not good at all, I didn't even eat it after a couple bites. Portions were small. Over priced for what you get.

For a chain restaurant it is excellent at what it does. The food is consistently good, the service is good, the atmosphere is friendly. We tried to go without a reservation on Saturday evening, but didn't want to wait (I think 45 min for table of 2) so we went at opening Sunday morning instead. We had excellent service and could hear one another talk.
I had a gnocchi soup that was excellent. After the soup, salad, and bread sticks, I had to take home most of my broccoli pasta with chicken. It was still good as a leftover though.
I liked the different displays on the walls, decorated serving dishes and such. Also, parking was great at 11 am Sunday!

We arrived with a group of 25 at 8: 15 PM and they were able to have us seated quickly considering the size of our group.
The host and hostess did an excellent job in getting us looked after.

For our starters, the triangle shaped cheese fritters were delicious, fresh and melty, with a light crispy coating. The parmesan sprinkle on them tasted surprisingly good quality. Calamari fried in batter were fresh and light. I especially enjoyed the white sauce paired with the Calamari. We liked the salmon most of all the main dishes we ordered. Fresh baked bread sticks were complimentary; the friendly folks over there made sure our supplies were replenished. A smooth Tiramisu cake helped round off the fare. Service wise, we felt well attended to.

Although we went for dinner on a Monday night, the restaurant was quite busy. As we had to wait 45 minutes for the food, we could see the staff cleaning the tables after use. How difficult can it be to clean and dry a tabletop with a damp cloth. In any case, he couldn't. The table service was under stress, there was a lack of friendliness. The space was very noisy, perhaps it is common in Canada to have loud conversations while eating, and since there were between 60-80 guests it was very noisy. There is no dress code here! In an undershirt and short shorts.everything could be seen here. Sometimes it would rather not see.

It's ok. The food was ok. The service was not good. Possibly our waitress was having a bad day. Not sure. I'll never go back. Just to plain for the price.

Amazing service by Erika! Food was great and came out quickly, portions are big and bottomless soup and breadsticks are always a favorite. Will be back again soon:)

Had soup and salad. Hale was our waiter and was prompt and courteous. Great food and fun place to dine.

You know what to expect and they deliver. You won't leave hungry. Your mind won't be blown. Standard fare, but consistently served. Was a little disappointed that some menu items were removed. Thanks, COVID.

Food was delicious, they seemed to be short staffed on waitresses though as the waitress we had was clearly running between a large number of tables.

They have lost my business. (Even after things get back to normal) Won't be spending money where the owner has no moral and needless to say, asking for any medical record is illegal.

Hale gave us excellent service with the 7 of us at 1 table. Soup and salad is always a great choice.

We visit this location often for work lunches and always have a great experience! Today there was a minor issue with our order and the manager Vasem went above and beyond to correct the issue right away. He was professional, friendly, and made us feel very valued. We can't wait to come back again for the amazing food and service!

Zach was great, very attentive, friendly n quick with serving. The food however was terrible. I sent everything back, even the Rasp. Lemonade. I didn't care for it because it had no flavour. I ordered lemonade n it was the "bottom of the barrel" tasted gross, good thing they didn't have any left. Finally got a great tasting Sprite.
I used to dine at Olive Garden years ago n it was FABULOUS! I used to uy their Alfredo sauce, now I can't even eat the stuff. I thought we'd try it again. LAST TIME. THE Fettuccine Alfredo n Chkn Marsala both were GROSS. FA tasted bland no where near what they used to make n the Chkn Marsala tasted awful. The CM at M&Ms was fantastic!
They did fix our bill n gave us free desserts that helped. Won't be going back again.

Great food available for the family via pickup when one does not have time to prepare themselves!

Not busy in the early afternoon. We were able to be seated promptly and our server was attentive.

It may be a franchise, but the food is solid. You know exactly what you’re getting at Olive Garden, and it’s usually good.

I've been here several times and have had awful experiences every time I've been here. The staff is beyond rude. There were 3 hosts standing at the front just gossiping while I was waiting to be seated. They were far too busy laughing and clearly making fun of others. They looked directly at me and asked for how many so I responded and the girl very rudely said "I wasn't talking to you". Then when we finally did get seated, one of the waitresses looked at my husband and I and rolled her eyes then walked over to us. She was very impolite and unprofessional. We didn't even wait for our drinks to arrive and we walked out because we were so appauled with how rude the staff was. Not to mention there were small children crawling all around our feet and table and in the walkway. Another experience we had with a waiter, he sat us down, barely checked on our table at all. Took 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. He didn't smile a single time, acted very annoyed with us and seemed like he didn't want to be there at all in general. I have many more awful experiences at this location. Will definitely never be coming back. Wish I could rate this location zero stars. Don't come here unless you want to be treated poorly and judged.

Let me begin to say that there were fruit flies everywhere and its very uncomfortable.

Second, we ordered CHICKEN AND SHRIMP CARBONARA. Ended up getting chicken carbonara which is not even in the menu. We then asked the server and she admitted she made a mistake and didn’t even ask if we wanted it replaced or if she could at least get the shrimp on the side. But my husband didn’t want to make a big deal out of it and said it was ok as it might inconvenience the staff members. We just hoped to not get charge the full price since it was their mistake. Btw, the carbonara took longer to make because they he server punched in 2 chicken marsala instead of 1 chicken marsala and 1 carbonara.

When we were about to pay, we still got charged the full price. And asked for the manager. The manager’s excuse was THERES 3 types of carbonara its just not in the menu. HOW WOULD A CUSTOMER KNOW THAT? !? ! And instead of being apologetic, the manager was “BUT DID YOU ENJOY IT? ” Maybe next time FIX THE PROBLEM AND NOT COME UP WITH EXCUSE THAT THE SERVER IS A NEW HIRE and even telling us we all come from there we make mistakes. Terrible!

Server Arnel was amazing. The food was incredible. Vasem the manager was so friendly and nice. I highly recommend coming to this location!

This place is excellent with great service. I had the taste of Italy entree and it was awesome. Their fettuccine is great.

Sadly this overpriced classic eatery is serving up mediocre food from Wholesale food service (frozen) vs made from scratch originals. Chicken parm was dry (Frozen chicken puck) and very small portions. (Breadsticks and salad aside) Pasta was overcooked and the sauce was bland as you get out of a jar. And the biggest disappointment was the signature salad not even having any Pepperoncini's on hand, sad!

Wonderful experience! Would like to give a shout out to our amazing server Arnel. His personality was great and he checked in with us and made the whole table laugh. The food was also amazing in true olive garden fashion. Thanks for a great time.

I was seated at a dirty table, I grabbed a spray cleaner and a cloth at a station, proceeded to clean my table, while employees passed by, not one commented or offered to do their job. The menu was mainly chicken. Ordered a jug of Sangria which wasn't stirred and all the sweetness rested at the bottom, which was too sweet to drink. At $30 a jug I was disappointed that I couldn't tolerate the sweetness and wasted my money. The food quality was large portions and bland. Not what it used to be.

We had a delightful dinner, our server Jenny was amazing, she was funny and polite. Made our stay all the better. We are happy we chose this location. Thank you for the great service Jenny! We will return because of it!

Food was good, however the waiter's attitude was disappointing.it was my stepdad's birthday and we told the waiter, expecting their free complimentary dessert. He responded with an ignorant toned "oh" and just walked away.we ended up spending $20 on two tiny pieces of cake that day in olive garden.honestly could've gotten better cakes at safeway.

The worst restaurant food I've had in a long time. My pasta shells were overcooked and you could barely cut through with a knife. The ice tea was just a layer of syrup with water on top of it. My dinner guest ordered chicken parm and they sent out the wrong meal and then "cooked" a new dish in like 3 minutes.yuck.never going to olive garden again.

The food is amazing came all the way from Ontario to try the famous Olive garden and was not disappointed, the staff was friendly and Gus our server was very accommodating, can't wait to come back wish we still had Olive garden in Ontario.sad face.

Went here for the first time last night and the food was great! Although the guy we got as our server didn’t bother to write down our order so he got a couple of things we asked for wrong. I asked for a different soup than my husband and he brought out the same kind for both of us. We asked for fries on the side for our daughters meal so she could share with our 11 month old son and we got grapes so he couldn’t have any. We had to ask for the milk that was included with her meal as well. We would’ve liked a server who had a pen and paper so we didn’t have to correct him. We didn’t say anything because it was our first time out at a restaurant for a long time and didn’t want it ruined. Like I said the food was great though and we might come again if we get a different server who is nicer and writes down orders.

Our server, Gus, was fabulous and kept the salad and breadsticks coming non stop for our party of six.

Food great as always. The restaurant was half full, which was quiet considering it was the first day for dine-in again after covid closures.

Kemil (might be wrong spelling) was super friendly and gave us great service. The food was great as usual for olive garden only “issue” would have been that the raspberry syrup in my bellini peach-raspberry iced tea was a bit strong and i had to wait for the ice to melt to water it down.

We really enjoyed lasagna fritta, minestrone, shrimpi scampi and tiramisu.all so perfectly cooked and delicious. Will be back again soon

We had a great time dining at Olive Garden, we came right as covid restrictions lifted and we felt safe with the changes made for social distancing. As this is the first night after the lockdown i ordered a draft beer however it was quite flat, however my server Mandeep was quick to help me get a bottled beer. Mandeep came to make sure we had everything we needed and took great care of us.

Service was slower than usual, but they did only reopen this week. And they were out of one of the menu items.
But the server was friendly and the food was delicious as always.

Love the food, however portion sizes have gone down and price has gone up. No wait time when I went on Friday for supper which was nice!

Very disappointed this time. Toscana soup is completely different than what it used to be. Salad was below par, no onion in it now. Breadsticks are always a win thank Goodness. We once loved soup salad and breadsticks here. Very discouraging today tbh.

Haven't been to O. G.in year's and decided to pay them a visit today. Our server had great attention to detail and when we had issues with our meal helped us resolve the issue (food was cold). One entree is always too much for me so I split it with my friend.

Went for an early dinner. Service was good, food was plentiful and flavorful. Can't go wrong with unlimited salad and bread sticks. The entrees were large and everyone was full. Apart from the dated interior stylings, there wasn't much bad to say about our experience.

Hadn't been to an Olive Garden in decades. It was close to our hotel so I thought we would give it a go. In hind sight it seems that I was already on to something. It'll be decades before I can forget this most recent experience.

The ravioli was rubbery, hard inside and the edges looked off (like they were freezer burned). The sauce was chunky and lacking in flavour (esp.garlic and onion). It was warm, not hot. When I asked clearly and multiple times for "baked with cheese" they missed. I sent it back. Sometimes mistakes happen, but what they offered by way of a fix was to have the kitchen sprinkle some cheese on top and let it melt under a heat lamp. Baked with cheese should show a nice brown toasting and crispy edges that are yummy and crunchy. What I got was sad and lame; arguably worse than the what I received the first time around.

The bread sticks were warm in a "fresh from the microwave" kind of way. They were dense and tasted like flour. They had none of the traits of baked bread, but rather processed and mass produced imitation bread.

The salad was made with yellow iceburg lettuce that wasn't fresh.

I was charged $18 for something I could have gotten for $7.50 at a food court.

The atmosphere was dated. I don't think they've ever renovated the place since it opened. The bathroom was dirty. The place smelled like mould and stale cigarettes. The walls looked yellowed and stained. The floor was battered. The tables scratched and beaten. The booth seats were flat, hard and uncomfortable. There was a noodle stuck to the floor under my seat that no amount of kicking at could dislodge.

Olive Garden used to be one of the fancy places we would go to as kids. Today it's no better than Boston Pizza. Nothing is made fresh anymore. It's all processed and straight out of a Saputo or GFS truck. You don't have chef's you have cooks and all they do is reheat things as quickly as possible. Your company and your owners may be making money, but you're not making good food or good memories. We won't be returning.

Ate lunch there yesterday with my husband and got a lunch to go for our daughter. My husband and I both had shrimp scampi with house salad and our daughter had the shrimp Alfredo. The service (Khalid F) was really first-rate, flawless in fact. The dinners were all good, with generous servings of shrimp, and fresh, delicious bread-rolls. The house salad, however, was lame. Three pieces of tomato, a few olives, which were delicious, and mostly lettuce. We were offered grated Parmesan, but it was not enough to make up for the miserly amount of non-lettuce-y things in the salad. Order ID: 4410 91266 6874 April 06,2019 I should add, the salad was served in one bowl for me and my husband. (My daughter's dinner was to go.) So the three pieces of tomato worked out to one and a half pieces for each person. If we'd been given separate salads, the poverty of the offerings would have been immediately apparent.

We all know onions are cheaper than peppers but the chicken scampi was so full of onions that's all I could taste except for the oil that was used instead of butter in the sauce. Overpriced will not go back.

Never ended up eating.

Called to make a reservation and was told it's not busy and they would seat our party right away.

Showed up to the restaurant 5 minutes later and was told that there would be a 40 minute wait.

Great staff and service, clean areas and did arrived quickly. Would strongly recommend to anyone who likes Italian food or is looking for some wine selection and very knowledgeable waiters. Very expensive desert, almost costs as much as the main course.

Tonight was my first Olive Garden experience and i gotta say.

It was fantastic! The menu looked so good it took me forever to decide on what to get, ended up going with the chicken alfredo and it was Better than i expected. The breadsticks are great also, service was amazing, will definitely be going back soon!

This place is to die for. Always a family favourite this did not disappoint. Food was amazing the service was on point. If you go for lunch get a wine pairing for your meal

Great food. Very delicious. Place was packed when we went, but still received great service. Their soups are amazing, and so are the breadsticks. Never tried the salad, but it looked good. Had the tour of Italy dish and was amazing. Could barely finish it. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt like very home like. The cheese they use and grate for you tasted really good too.

The food was good, big portions and I love the salad however we went on a Saturday after making reservations a few days earlier. They could not locate our reservation at first but after some digging around in a few different books they managed to find it. We ended up getting seated about 20-25 min after our 6 pm reservation. The other issue is that the parking lot is way too small and we had to drive around a lot to even get a spot.

Over the years I've found this location to be very consistent. Generally the food is reasonably priced with good portions and I haven't found anything that didn't taste great. The bread sticks and salad are reason enough to visit. Our server was super friendly and quick despite it being busy. This has been our teenage daughter's birthday dinner pick a couple times now.

I don’t know how this place would get bad reviews because we come here lots and have never had a bad experience. Tonight we went in the middle of supper rush on a Saturday night, and we were already expecting long wait as they are understandably busy. We got seated even before the 20-min wait time. The restaurant is full, so we weren’t expecting our food to come quick and we were ready to wait. But to our surprise the mains came right as we finished our soups. And as usual our meals are delicious! Service was great like always! We have been to fancier restaurants but this will always be my family’s go to place!

We were seated but nobody came to take our orders for at least a half hour. Then they brought drinks nobody came to take our dinner orders. We finally had to get their attention after about 15 minutes. The food took a long time to come out. Once it was there the meals were really good. Their house salad comes in a big bowl. Nice fresh garden salad with a very tasty dressing. Just too bad it took over an hour to be served.

The Olive Garden has been in this location for more than 20 years. It's very busy on Fridays and Saturdays, so going early is important. There's a supplemental menu that changes regularly, and the standard menu has excellent choices. Keep up the great work!

Just had soup and salad for lunch with my oldest daughter just what we expected service was on but not great. No longer do the fresh ground pepper. Wish the bowls for soup were a few ounces larger, over all enjoyable and reliable

Prices, and are efficient. They give
You good value for money. They keep
You up to date on the state of your orders.
In Canadian restaurants, the waiters/waitresses are
Usually ignorant, and are not aware if it.
They think that if they ask"How was your
Day", or " what are you doing for the rest
Of the evening" (as though it matters, or
It is their business), they will get under your skin, and force you to tip well regardless
Of their service.
Back to the Olive Garden: food is well cooked, reasonably priced, and served fast.
There is enough manpower for that.
Main dishes are served with complementary
Nice garden salad and/ or soup, and
Fresh bread sticks. Try to beat that.
No wonder the place is packed.
Four stars, easily.

Was enjoying a lovely meal at the Olive Garden when the general manager came over and told us he wanted to treat us to dessert. Such a great atmosphere with fantastic customer service!

We used to love coming to the Olive Garden but over the years we have found that its food is very bland, boring and subpar. I wish they would bring back dishes they have since done away with years ago. Our last experience we were very disappointed and don't think we'll be back.

Food was excellent, the service was a bit slow, as it was quite busy. Not having Coke Zero is a surprise to me. It out sells Diet Coke three to one, fast food restaurants figured it out years ago
