Tried acupuncture for the first time. Esther is amazing. It wasn't painful. She explains everything she's doing. Got rid of painful back knots in one session. I'm glad I gave acupuncture a shot, this is not placebo. It really works.

First time getting a massage in Calgary Alberta and I must say this place is amazing Sarah who did my massage today I highly recommend that people get a massage from her friendly is there anyone can be highly recommend this place

I loved how easy it was to do a walk in. They have trained professionals who knew exactly how to help me and made me see the benefit of physio. Will be booking a follow up.

Phenomenal experience from the very moment I walked into the clinic and was warmly greeted by Trish to when I received my chiropractic treatment by Chelsey who was knowledgeable, professional and just simply amazing. I don't leave reviews often, but had to this time around since their customer service exceeded all my expectations. After just one treatment I already feel so much better. Would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for chiropractic/physio services in Calgary!

This clinic is small, but mighty! We received the most friendly welcome, and the overall customer service could not be matched. They were able to manage a last minute booking for Mom, a teenager, and a 6 year old. They even kept my little one busy while Mom did paperwork with colouring and great conversation. The kindness and patience was so appreciated. Couldn’t recommend this clinic more. I’d give 25 stars if I could! ️ We’ve already booked the next 6 appointments ;)

Great team - saw William for MT and Dr. Gatts for acupuncture and cupping. Both were knowledgeable and helpful and their treatments have improved my symptoms immensely. Will be back for sure. The reception team is also lovely and were so good making sure everything went through insurance directly. Highly recommend.

Chelsey Fricker is an amazing chiropractor! She is attentive to my injuries and is helping me so much with an injury that has caused me so many issues! I’m so appreciative thank you Chelsey!

I've removed one star from this rating because the intake form only includes 'male' and 'female' options. Although I identify as a cisgender white woman, I work with a diverse population and it is important to me that I am supporting businesses who welcome all individuals. OWC, please seriously considering adding other options on your intake form that align with supporting communities of people who do not identify within these two categories. EVERYONE should feel included and welcome. Thank you!

I used to have bad back pain, off and on for years. I ended up getting xrays and found out I have osteoarthritis in my lower back. I met with Dr. Steve and decided to start with chiro. I was doing well and feeling better, but then started doing massage right before my chiro sessions and my pain was gone within a couple of weeks! My range of motion also started getting much better!

Being a commercial Carpenter, I figured I was just going to have back pain the rest of my life. Massage and Chiropractic treatments at Optimum Wellness in Bowness changed that!

I was from out of town and needed an emergency adjustment. The staff here are top notch and went above and beyond what I would expect from a Chiropractor. Dr SUMMEY was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended. My daughter even walked out with a smile.

Had a chiro and massage appointment back to back. Trish at the front desk was very courteous and helpful in getting me oriented to the facility. Dr. Stephen and Sarah were both very knowledgeable and provided me fantastic care - will definitely return and recommend to my friends and family!

It's too bad there's not a 10 000 star rating, because that is the amount of stars I would give to this wonderful establishment. The receptionist, Suki, is a literal angel upon this earth. Friendly, knowledgeable, smart (not just a pretty face.) Punctual. Encouraging. Transcendent. Environmentally friendly.

The massage therapist I see, Elise Matheson, is my favourite massage therapist that I have ever had. Unlike some massage therapists, whom I felt were just passing the time by patting me absent-mindedly on the back, Elise knows how to really get in there. Not only that, but she makes a delightfully appreciative captive audience, she laughs at my jokes (even when they're not that good), and she knows when it's Quiet Time. She is a gift from the Universe to me - because the Universe feels sorry for me that I've been in so many car accidents, and understands how it feels to be a grumpy old woman with back pain. My husband had shrimp salad rolls and wor wonton and overate and genuinely enjoyed every bite of his Birthday dinner.

I didn't know I need a chiropractor until I visited Dr. Sumney and his team at Optimum Wellness in Bowness. Up until two months ago I had never seen a chiropractor, convinced my neck, back and hip issues were just something I had to deal with. After some wise words of wisdom from husband, I booked an appointment and discovered there was a solution.
Dr. Sumney took it a step further and assisted me with getting a sit/stand desk at work to make life easier. Now I'm standing and dancing at my desk everyday; back and neck pain are a thing of the past. Thank you Dr. Sumney!
