Great service. Refill my mouse bait stations with potent bait two times a year. One feeding and they're done. Really stopped my mouse problem dead in their tracks literally.

Patrick has taken care of all of our pest needs since 2005 when I moved here. We have an old home & have had mice and, horribly, bed bugs. Patrick has been kind and continually patient with the stress & trauma associated with a bed bug infestation. Ken was so professional and reassuring when he brought the dog in to check. Kim, the area supervisor just left my home after a second dog inspection for sanity's sake. Her care, concern and completely professional demeanor tell me that it is a corporate value to treat customers well. I am definitely a customer for life. Thanks everyone who helped me!

We bring in Orkin every couple years to get rid of the ants in the yard and around the house. It takes a couple years for them to return. Great value.

First I asked for a quote to be emailed. They never sent one. Later the services sounded amazing so I booked an extermination for the following Monday after the weekend. No one showed up and no one called to explain what happened. I wasted so much of my time waiting and nothing. Will never ever use this company again

I hired Orkin last summer to spray for carpenter ants in my yard. I paid a bit more for their service, however, it was worth it as they promptly came back to spray again for a few other types of ants.
They honored the contract in a timely, professional manner, treating the problem areas only when safe to do so.
Derek was pleasant and thorough taking time to explain the work and answer my questions.
I would not hesitate to call Orkin again for any other pest issues on my property.

We have used Orkin for over 8 years at our numerous commercial locations plus apartment building.there techs are very thorough provide training to our team members or tenants.outside of the regular preventative maintenance visits they are quick to respond to a call for assistance.cost of service is very reasonable for piece of mind and quality of service.regards mark h

The service started off friendly enough, as the technician gave us advice and guidelines for what we needed to do to prep. After the 2 weeks of waiting and prepping our house, which was not easy because we have a large family. Orkin came up with several nonsensical reasons as to why they couldn't make the appointment, which they had booked 2 weeks in advance.

None of these reasons were made known to us until half an hour after the appointment time had passed. This was pretty upsetting because we had spent several hundred dollars already on a hotel, cleaning, transportation, and a babysitter. Not to mention the time loss at work. Our time is very important as we are very busy parents, also our children are not in their home to accommodate their appointment, which stated earlier, they could not even honour.

Luckily, we gave Major Pest Control a call, and their emergency technician is able to save us today. Will not be calling Orkin ever again.

Rude and no courtesy at all towards own job either. For the discount we are not entitled to get a standard service what I feel within the conversation.unfortunately shouldn't have this service in the area if don't have enough tech. Monopoly being served here as per my understanding.

Robert was very professiona and took his time to inspect the reason for the call and the rest of the house to ensure that there were no other infestation possibilities. I am confident in the evaluation of my situation and what to do next.

Technician went above and beyond to make sure I understood the problem and how to handle it, including prevention of future issues.

Booked an appointment for exterior fly spray. On the first appointment date nobody showed up, no calls to inform why. When we inquired they said they didn’t see the work order in the schedule and they rescheduled for a week later. 2nd appointment date again no show despite several calls on the day of to confirm. Excuse this time was couldn’t make out our way cause too busy. Finally a month after the first attempts supervisor shows up and says sorry the flies have gotten into the soffits / attic and there is no point spraying so good luck dealing with them in the house… we missed the window of time to spray and it’s too cold out now they won’t be out again. Please try again in the spring.

Worth the money. They were professional and efficient. I like the fact that they follow up more than once to ensure the issue has been taking care of.

We have had great results with carpenter ants treatment at our family cottage this summer. I tried for 2 years to control the ants on my own with minimal to no success - ants just moved to other more secret entry points to house. Extremely glad we chose Orkin, the professionals!

I hired Orkin to remove 3 wasps nests near my home entrance. The poison takes about 1 week to take effect so we will see in a week's time. The activity was significantly reduced after the application. The Orkin service personnel was professional and seemed very thorough. I also use Orkin for annual rodent control.

Being completely honest, I had some issues with the initial technician I was assigned. They were unresponsive and ignoring phone calls, no showed on an appointment without notice.but after bringing it to the attention of Orkin it was almost IMMEDIATELY rectified, branch manager Kim contacted me directly and came herself first thing in the morning the very next day to complete the respray for me which I am SO appreciative of. I understand sometimes employees do not reflect the values of a company they work for, but it's difficult for an experience like that to not leave a bad taste in your mouth. However, I am very impressed with how quickly and professionally the situation was rectified by Kim. Very friendly and professional manager, does her job well.

Very friendly, and as punctual as the weather would allow. It was an outdoor infestation, and I was not able to be home. The gentleman called when he arrived, did the work, then called back and gave me a full report. I’m impressed! We spent a fortune on remedies, and make at home kill recipes. We even tried the shovel stir and tiger torch method. Nothing worked. In my mind this is going to be hard to clear up. The service came with a 3 month warranty, and was a lot cheaper than all the non effective stuff we tried!

I brought a bug in to see if it was something of concern and they promptly identified the bug and provided me with advice for my situation. Trust that this company will not unnecessarily recommend services to you.

They were able to give me some reassurance and good advice, without immediately trying to sell me a service. They were very professional, and I will be going to them in the future for pest advice and services if I find the need arises again.

I ended up using a different company!

I needed someone to come out because our backyard has been taken over by spiders. I called Orkin on Wednesday because their website said, “Request a free, no-obligation estimate today for a customized pest program that fits your needs. ” I soon learned that this statement was highly exaggerated! After I described why I wanted to book an appointment, the telephone agent told me that someone could come on Monday (5 days later) and it would cost $250. When I asked about getting a free quote first, she said that the phone call was the free estimate. How is that a “Customized Pest Program”? I expected that someone would come to my home, assess my situation, then determine the cause and how it would be rectified. That is truly NOT the case. In fact, the definition of customized means that it is modified in some way. In this case, there was absolutely nothing that was modified. The agent even indicated that they charge everyone $250 for the spider spray, which was how she could give the quote over the phone. She went on to say that I could get an actual evaluation at a cost of $125. She clarified that if I agreed to services, I would still have to pay the $125 in addition to the cost for other services. Telling a telephone agent why you want an appointment is not a customized pest program, especially when she did not do any type of analysis, ask me any questions or make any modifications. You don’t even have the option to speak with one of their pest control experts on the phone to discuss the situation. I don’t like companies who purposely mislead customers by exaggerating offers. As I stated above, I called a DIFFERENT company for assistance.

I called today, panicked because of a wasp nest of mystery location. Originally, they were booking for later next week, but once they were told of a little one in the house, they were able to find a way of making it happen today. Tkanks to Alfonso for taking care of the nest so quickly and giving me peace of mind.

Solid crew. I had called about a bird's nest removal, and I appreciated their honesty. They recommended that I take care of the problem myself (for <$20) and gave some guidance about how to do this, saving me a significant amount. Trustworthy!

We would highly recommend Orkin. Roy with Orkin in Edmonton was a tremendous help in identifying and eliminating the small flies that were in our home for the last 3 summers. We had two other Exterminators come in that just sprayed the whole area, but never took the time to help to figure out where the source was. So we never got any results. Roy didn’t give up and went out of his way to do some research and was able to find the source. After accessing the area he was able to spray/fog and we are now fly free. Thank you Roy!

Tried to get some help with mice from them.the guy on the phone didn’t even want to come over at all to begin with. So after saying I really want help he agreed and he said be there for 9am Tuesday August 6. He decided to no show and no call or answer from him. So basically I lost a days wage because the guy was to lazy to help me with my issue or even give me a phone call to tell me I’m a waste of his time. Though I should have go the hint on the initial phone call.
So my review is you guys suck worse than having the rodents in the house

Called Orkin about carpenter ants. The technician Alphonso was knowledgeable.
He applied an initial treatment for the ants. But he also made a plan to come back for a second type of treatment when the weather was warmer when the ants were more active and therefore easier to locate. The treatment is guaranteed for 1 year until next spring; if the problem occurs again Orkin will return for as many treatments as are needed this year. My residence is not in the city but there was no charge for travel. Very happy with the knowledgeable and professional service.

Andrew always conducts himself with professionalism while on the property, this along with his willingness to explain situations and solutions really makes working with him easy.

We live in farm and we so bothered about mice running around the house. Called Orkin and asked for help. The same day Francis came and assess our place.
After the inspection he explained every details and lay down his plan. He offered 3 months monitoring with fair price. I am now in the second month of this plan and turns well. Mice are gone.

The Orkin Representitive Andrew Gallop; who visits our workplace on a monthly basis is professional when it comes to building inspections looking for signs of any and all forms of pests from mice, ants, cockroaches, bedbugs etc.
Andrew has a very good understanding of the products that Orkin uses and the Safety Requirements involved to keep our staff safe. He keeps us well informed on what to look for and how to properly maintain our workplace so we can avoid attracting unwanted guests.
