OSP (On Site Placement)

Worst customer service prior to getting to speak with receptionist, the two staff members continued to whisper while ignoring me, then after waiting for their playground activities to finish, I spoke with the one receptionist who told me they are not a job agency and their hiring programs have finished.

Update 16th November: OSP phoned me and offered some new programs to assist to get the unemployed back into employment, they are not an employment agency but offer employment services which is good if you need to update yourself prior to returning to employment.but as I've exhausted my finances I have to leave Edmonton.

They helped me find a job through workbridge program because I am new to Edmonton. I enjoyed the workshops they were educational. Jennifer really helped me prepare for the workforce. Nicole and everyone on the team were awesome!

Was extremely helpful, especially the fake interviews and learning how to write a good resume. Highly recommend.

I had an excellent experience completing the Diversity & Youth Skill Building program at OSP! I quite enjoyed the workshops, which were informative and well-run. Participating in this program will continue to be beneficial to my career/resume going forward.

I was part of the Diversity program run by OSP and it was a great experience! The workshops were fun and very educational so I do recommend it anyone who is interested in participating! The people were very supportive and nice, I’m definitely glad to have met them!

It was awhile ago that I was a client here but want others to know about my bad experience here. Kathy and Robyn were my mentors and promised me that I would have a job within a month. Never happened I was there for months just going there and applying for jobs online which I could of done on my computer at home. Robyn talked to all the clients there in a condescending way making people with disabilities feel like they are useless and worthless.

I volunteered in the Diversity Awareness and Skill-building Youth Program at OSP. The program included 30 hours of workshops on diversity and inclusion, 30 hours of general volunteering and 60 hours to build one's own project. It was such a valuable experience! The staff members here, especially my mentors, Kathy and Karen, were very inspiring and kind-hearted. They kept me on track and gave me a lot of advice to navigate through my own project. I also oved the way the courses were designed and organized. They incited me to learn and to challenge my previous pre-assumptions. Other staff, such as Jennyvel, who monitored volunteers' s progress, did an amazing job, too! Overall, I highly recommend OSP and I truly hope that this program shall continue to inspire youth in a very long time!

The staff at OSP are very friendly and welling to help you no matter the problem. You can drop I'm at anytime to speak to a career coach about job search or help with resume. They have recently add a peer support person to help make new and previous clients feel more at ease talking out their disability so they don't feel alone in this journey.i highly recommend stopping in and talking to them you never know

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help their clients in any way they can. Jennyvel is amazing at the workshops they offer. Its a great place to learn tips, job hunt and make new friends who are facing some of the same challenges you do when it comes to the workplace. Thanks so much for everything OSP! You truly are making a difference in peoples lives

I feel like my employment specialist did no work. Worked with her for six months, I didn’t have any interviews in that time and then I was dropped. I sent resumes out and thought they would at least get me an interview but that never happened.

HORRIBLE! DONT WORK FOR THEM. THEYRE DISORGANIZED & SCATTER BRAINED. THEY PUT YOU AT RISK FOR YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY.
