I don't normally do reviews, but these guys have truly earned my trust and respect time and time again so I feel obligated to make this review. I've owned four cars over the years and I've always taken them to Our Mechanic either for routine maintenance or if something needs fixing with full confidence that they will do the job right the first time. They keep me well informed during the entire process of what needs to be done and WHY it needs to be done. Last year I brought one of my cars and told them to replace the brake pads and rotors because I thought they were due for replacement, they called me back and told me your brakes are fine and don't need to be replaced. It's really a breath of fesh air to find a shop that you can trust like that. They always stand behind their work which in itself is a testament to the quality of their work. Shoutout to Troy and Ryley who I've known for years now for making this shop the best shop in Calgary for all your car needs. If you're like me and you don't trust anyone to work on your cars, give these guys a chance and you will never look for another shop.

I used to think these guys were honest, but recent experiences have made me change my mind. I think that they may have sold me on fixes that I should never have needed. When I question their recommendations they ghost me. I have spent 10's of thousands of $$ at their garage over a ten year period.

I was recommended to Our Mechanic by a friend at work. Took my previous car there and have always had amazing service. I had been taking my new vehicle to the pull in oil change places just because it was convenient. Was told that I needed the differential fluid changed and an engine flush. Booked the vehicle into Our Mechanic for exactly that and was told that the differential fluid was fine and didn’t need changing. Really appreciate the honesty and great work ethic of this place. Would highly recommend them! Always feel taken care of by them.

Been going to this mechanic for over 16 years. They are the most trustworthy, family oriented business I have ever met in Calgary.
One time before a cross boarder road trip I dropped my vehicle off for a full inspection expecting to pay for extra services to make sure it was road worthy for the trip to the U. S. But only needed an oil change and air filter. I questioned them if they were sure. I thought I needed break pads done or something. Nope.
So if you need a more reliable mechanic, I'd start here.

I was pleased with the wonderful service I received on August 29th.
My 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier had no heat/air, so they fixed it, as well as a few other things they did to my car.
Thank you to the techs, Richard and Jade for looking after my car, she has some sentimental value and I'd like to keep my car in good shape for as long as I can.
I'd like to also thank, Riley, for anything that he was involved with getting my girl back on the road, I'd like to thank Maurice, who works at Sunridge Mazda, recommending me to take my car to Our Mechanic, I'm really glad I did.

The team at Our Mechanic are exceptional, always there for us. They take care of our vehicles and help us understand what needs to be done. We don’t have to shop around or double check prices because they have always been honest and taken exceptional care of us. I have and will continue to refer anyone looking for a mechanic to them. They are the best!

Unfortunately, my first experience with this car repair shop was quite disappointing. I entrusted them with my car for a month and paid a hefty sum of $6300. However, upon receiving my car, I discovered that it was now leaking oil all over my driveway. I immediately brought it back to the shop, and while they acknowledged their oversight and replaced the leaky part, I was disheartened to find that they hadn't bothered to clean up any of the oil-coated parts. For the amount I had spent, which was already substantial, I would have expected at least some effort to clean up the mess. It's unfortunate to say that I'm not satisfied with their service.

I chose Our Mechanic based off of the glowing reviews and we weren’t disappointed! Took the poor old Pathfinder in for serpentine belt, start up issues & fuel leakage - fixed the next day! Unbelievably great service. Thank you so much

Great shop! Polite, fair, reasonable, and honest! They helped with my out of province inspection for my Toronado and did a great job helping me get the things fixed that I needed to fix!

Used to be a huge fan of Our Mechanic, and drove across the city to visit them for my two vehicles. I will no longer be supporting this business, as they recently refused to honour warranty on their own repair which failed immediately (or wasn't done at all in the first place). Frustrated, having to pay another mechanic to fix the same issue. Looking back there were other issues that we overlooked, such as getting conventional oil instead of synthetic after an oil change, that should have been an indication of the quality deteriorating.

Riley and the team are amazing. Part of me doesn't want to give this review cause some secrets are best kept hidden. Prices are reasonable. Service is exceptional. I had a factory issue with my Saturn that 3 GM dealerships couldn't figure out. Rileys team correctly solved it in under an hour. I have been going to this team for 5 plus years.

I have been involved with the automobile sector for over 40 years. I’ve oven my own businesses in several ways in the automobile businesses. I always believed that money was a by product of a job well done. That means the customers vehicle is the priority. It worked well for my companies and customers as many were repeat customers and trusted me with blank checks to do what was necessary and bill accordingly. I found that this company and their employees share the same values. I have trusted them with several large jobs and always felt they did what was necessary and honestly. I would recommend this company to anyone, my thoughts are to some women that feel vulnerable. You can trust them with your vehicle. Jack Grant

Initially I was very skeptical. They quoted me a high price for multiple parts. However they kept me in the loop of what they were doing throughout the days, eventually telling me it was a simple fix which I only paid a fraction of the cost. I was quite surprised how honest they were. If this is their common business practice, I would not hesitate to bring my car and recommend other people to this shop. Thanks Troy.
