Out of Bounds Ski & Snowboard

Came in for a new setup. I knew what I didn't want and they were able to guide me into a new setup with proper fitting gear.

Got my first set of skis here everyone was super knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend this place ***update I returned and this time bought a pair of cross country skis had wonderful service again.

Bought a new ski setup from Out of Bounds recently (skis, bindings, poles) and I couldn’t be more pleased! Great deals, especially if you buy in a package. Got my bindings mounted/adjusted, with a cut and wax. Super sharp edge on the ski, and the wax made it feel almost too fast funny enough!

Will be back!

Our experience at Out of Bounds was nothing short of exceptional. Noelle was absolutely fantastic. We came to Out of Bounds specifically because we heard such great things about her. She took her time to make sure we were set up with the right gear, and she was great (and patient) with our kids which was a huge plus. She is incredibly knowledgeable about ski gear, and is (was?) a youth ski instructor as well, which made it easy for us to get our kids set up with the correct equipment. No high pressure sales tactics. I would not go anywhere else or deal with anyone else when it comes to skis for our family. If you're looking to get ski gear, go to Out of Bounds, ask for Noelle. You will not be disappointed.

Went to every shop in the city with my wife looking for the perfect ski boots for her needs. The way they went in depth with her without any mansplaining made up her mind and the next day we returned, bought nicer boots than she had bargained for and some new skis too. Everyone was a winner that day.

Went and checked out this place because of all the positive reviews, but I have to leave and spend my money elsewhere.
I was there looking for ski boots and would like to see what they recommend. After a few minutes of conversation, last thing the salesman said to me was "If you are here to kick tires today, we will not be trying any boots. You can try them on if you are here to buy. "
I can only guess what I'm looking to spend is too insignificant, but fortunately for me, there were plenty of shops in the city that I can try boots on to my heart's content and I got myself a new set of equipment.

I wish there is an option of zero star.

Staff here are very friendly, helpful, and down to earth! I purchased my first set of skis here and I was given so much information and options about what skis I should get and what not. Would highly recommend shopping here!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, great prices and great selection. Chris helped me find exactly what I was looking for (a set of rental skis to tie me over for the season before making a bigger investment in the future). Researched and visited several other ski stores in Edmonton, but glad I ended up visiting OOB. It was a pleasure doing business with ya!

Went to rent skis, staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Had with on my way in about 15 min. Was my first time renting from this business and it was the most pleasant renting experience I've had. The store itself is very nice with a large selection of gear.

Wonderful staff and selection. My family has been going to Out of Bounds since we moved to Edmonton. They won't oversell you something you don't need. No matter how long it has been since any of us go in, their staff remembers what equipment we use and what clothing we wear. Fantastic service. Wouldn't go anywhere else. This is why we shop local.

Upsold me a $500 pair of boots, which went on a sale in sportcheck for $214. They wouldn’t refund anything, or do any kind of price match, because it was 8 days after the sale. They would only do their useless store credit on a full amount.

Return policy is garbage. Save your money.

This a great store with an excellent staff. I came with the intention to buy a specific set of skis, but after discussing my needs and where I was from an experience standing point they redirected me to a pair that have been perfect for me.

For as long as they continue to sell skis, this is where I will go to buy mine.

Ski Tune/Servicing: I had a local shop for almost 10-years, but. I brought-in a pair of skis which most Edmonton shops would be afraid to touch-core shots, horrible previous p-tex patch jobs, compressed base etc-to which they were upfront about the amount of work and end-result. I picked-up my skis 5-days later (xmas holiday season) and was so pleased at the mere sight of the condition of the bases.

All my skis, will now be tuned by OOB! And all I know will be strong-armed in to doing the same ^^

I've been getting my snowboard tuned here every year and I will keep coming back. They do an excellent job of fixing up my board no matter how rough it is.

One visit I mentioned I was considering a new board and the sales staff were very friendly and informative. Provided excellent recommendations and I never felt pressured to purchase something.

Great staff and great products. Had an issue with a broken ankle for years until one of the guys there set me up with a boot which completely solved all my issues. Can’t express how grateful I am!
