Outdoor Dental

I moved to Calgary in 2016, I tried 3 different Dental Offices before I found Outdoor Dental. Top notch Dentists, friendly, welcoming staff and the best Hygienist (Akis) ever!

Amazing experience! The staff here are incredible, knowledgeable and patient. They walked me through every step and answered all my questions. Delano, I can’t say enough good things! One of the best cleanings I’ve ever had.

Went in for a cleaning and a subsequent filling - both of which were the most comfortable experiences I've ever had at the dentist! The filling was completely pain-free as they use a laser and there was no freezing needed! Was able to eat and drink immediately afterwards it was the best. The assistants, hygienists and front-desk staff are so welcoming and friendly. I've finally found a dental office I plan to stick with!

Today, I underwent dental work performed by Dylan, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. Not only was he swift and efficient in his work, but his engaging conversation made the time fly by. Dylan also provided valuable tips to maintain a healthy smile, showcasing his expertise and care for patients. In addition, I couldn't help but admire his awesome choice in shoes. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the service and care I received.

I chose this dentist because they claim to be leaders in the industry- offering laser treatments & helping people with dental anxiety. My cleaning appointment was great & I rebooked my next cleaning before leaving. I had cavities to address, and that's where it all fell apart. I worked through a lot of anxiety to get myself to the appointment. I was sat in a dental chair & left alone in the room, surrounded by instruments & machines, with no communication for 25 minutes. As this was meant to be a 1 hour appintment, I finally walked out. I don't believe the work could have been completed in 35 minutes. And if it could have- why have me arrive at 10am if you don't intend to start until 10: 30am? The front staff were kind and tried to help calm my anxiety while apologizing for the lack of communication, but the damage has been done. I've now cancelled further appointments & am still in need of dental treatment- no further along than I was several months ago when this process began. If anything, leaving a dental office in tears has likely set back any progress Ive made on overcoming my dental anxiety. This is not what I expected when choosing this dentist.

Let's be honest, going to the dentist sucks. It's anxiety inducing, and can be really painful for me. But I'm so grateful to have found Outdoor Dental. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by Carolyn, to the kind and patient hygienists, they make going to the dentist a lot easier. If you're like me and have a really hard time stepping foot into a dental office, give this team a try. 5 stars.

First visit at this clinic. I found the staff to be very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend to others.

Update: Our kids all come to Outdoor Dental now too, and they like it here too. My youngest loves being able to watch a cartoon during her cleaning and then choose a prize from the treasure box afterwards.

A great dentist! Everyone at Outdoor Dental is really friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and truly want to help you with your dental needs. My husband recently switched to Outdoor Dental too, and we will be moving our kids here for their next appointment. Highly recommended!

My family loves coming here, been to a bunch of the surrounding offices but here everyone is great from the dentists, hygienists and receptionists! Julianna is awesome at answering every single question and giving evidence based advice.
