Argumentative staff nothing was on time sold the wrong welding rod to us and then wouldn’t take it back not friendly, not accommodating have now moved to a different company to buy welding supplies.
On 20th of October, I visited Air Liquide on 15986 118 Ave Edmonton to purchase some Lincoln super visibility welding glasses and welding cap. The man who assisted me were so kind and informative and helped me to get some discounts on the items by using the account of the company that I worked for as a welder. I really appreciate his kind and professional service. Air Liquide store is very wide and tidy and all the items are well sorted out, so it is very convenient to find items that I want. And the assitant kindly take my order for the items that they dont have in the store. I definitely want to recommend this Air Liquide store to my welder friends.
DO NOT COME HERE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU OWN YOUR OLD OXYPRO TANKS. Absolute worst service I've ever received. I paid 1500 bucks to own my cylinders back when it was Oxypro. Now they're saying they don't sell tanks, and I need to pay 150/tank lease per year. Go literally anywhere else even it's it's twice the price, because it will save you money in the long run. Absolute trash company. If you give them your old tanks, they will modify them and put their own collar on them, and then charge you to pick them up. Which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Avoid at all costs.
Worst service ever. I used to always fill me tanks there.co2 and nitrogen but the guy behind the counter is just rude and now they want you to sign a lease for a tank you already paid for. Hot garbage. Never using them again
Discontinue a product and blame the customer for not knowing. Make me get a contract for property I own already and charge me triple what u used to pay
I showed up right before closing for a small CO2 tank exchange. The staff was very friendly, and fast. A little pricey for what I expected, but I got what I needed.
We are a fairly large company that spends thousands upon thousands here annually, recently I sent our driver (who is a senior) to the Edmonton west location to pickup 4 bottles of argon. Upon his arrival the bottles were dumped outside the bay door and closed for him to fend for himself. There is not one piece of equipment there to assist with loading nor did anyone offer to help, going forward I will sourcing out a new supplier for our gasses and all consumables as this is entirely unacceptable.
I Cant believe they will not fill my Tank that I bought outright a year ago. They will only fill it if I sign a lease. Completely ridiculous! Guess I will buy a tank else where just not to deal with them. I imagine a lot of people are in the same boat and I hope they all do the same as I do. They where great to deal with before Air Liquide took over and all there tenured employees left. I wonder why? But anyways they just lost all my future business!
I used to deal with oxy pro a ton before they were bought out by air liquid and the prices have skyrocketed! Something that’s $60 at most other welding stores they want $126 for! $90 for a Stinger V they are asking $188! This place is nuts. And don’t get me started on how poorly their welding gas and bottle service is. Air liquide has and always will be a rip off for the small guy and the big guys don’t even know they are getting ripped off!
Their staff is very nice! This year I opened an ice-cream business. And since my family and I were very inexperienced, they gave us some free dry ice to experiment! It was so generous of them!
First experience was a little ruff, the bald guy at the front had no intest in helping me and no knowledge of any of the products, couldn't even find my account and made me come back. My second go, i got helped by the youger guy at the front and a lady from the back. They where super awesome to deal with! Good addittudes and willing to do whatever to help
Spoke to sunny on the phone. (If I spelt that wrong I'm sorry). Super friendly guy. Knowledgeable and easy going. Explained to me all the details I needed to know.
The prices sounds very good and if you check reddit you will see that these guys are the place to go for co2.
I have been buying Nitrogen gas from Oxypro for a few years for my coffee company. They are fantastic to deal with every time. After a mixup with my coworker picking up the wrong gas, Sunny helped me correct the issue and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I highly recommend Oxypro and Sunny!
Never open when they say they are. Have driven across the city to swap a bottle and not open when the website says it is. Not happy what so ever. Seems they work when they feel like it.
Wouldn't take my gas cylinder that I bought from them a few years ago. Wanted me to buy a new one of course. I use very little gas but still need it. You lost a customer today.
I’ve been a loyal customer for many years and have always received excellent and friendly service. I most often deal with Sunny and he’s always happy to help me. Will turn to Oxy Pro first for all my welding needs.
I wanted to say a big thank you to Darcy and Eric for getting my receipt when I lost my original they went above and beyond for me. Very Pleasant to deal with Thanks again
They have strange policies They do not give back 25% when you make refund Even if you want to refund a helmet that you have never used and you bought yesterday. And i have never been informed about that
Not treated very well a few times at this location. Just because you're not a big buyer doesn't mean you have to be treated in a poor manner. It is evident that a customer buying under $100, that you are just an annoyance to them. My wife picked up some special welding lenses for my auto helmet that I bought there last year. She was standing at the counter being ignored for a few minutes. She finally said, " hello! Am I invisible here! " I don't live in the city and only go there a few times a year, thank goodness!
I went into the West Edmonton store for some dry ice for my sons birthday party. I haven’t used dry ice before and he was very informative explained it throughly and confirmed my Pinterest searches of how it’s used in a cake. He he then generously gave me my little cooler full of ice at no charge. I understand it’s not much of a cost but his generosity was very appreciated.
Returned bottles to this store and they continue to send invoices for bottle lease.however after a very pleasant and apologetic conversation with karen at the 50th street location everything was sorted out.
