Reliable department at Pacesetter Homes is the Sales team: wonderful people. Was so overwhelmed by Biljana’s vast experience and wealth of assistance. All the good things I can ever associate with Pacesetter is just about her. Karen was another responsive and responsible agent.
The next phases from this sales point were utter disappointment. We were meant to be receiving updates on each stages and most developments of our property but was only updated twice, TWICE for the entire built period. Then came possession, only for reaching out and getting things done by builder/ServiceQ became elusive and time wasting. First was the handle of the door connecting the main floor to the garage: this came off just by closing the door. So as instructed, I have raised a ticket for over 4 months yet this has not been fixed. Accessing exits and entry through door is simply frustrating without the handle from the garage end. I mean how difficult could fixing an ordinary door handle be? Another door upstairs was not completely painted. It’s obvious an after work was done on it but someone forget to paint it.
Secondly, the rough-ins I paid for were not completed along with the building. Shower drain was initially stationed at the wrongest place: after donkey time, a trader came, dig and position the drain but left the ground open just like that. Months counting and nothing done. I reached out to the tech guy who said he needs words from serviceQ/Pacesetter to come cover it up. And of course ticket already closed by serviceQ depicting that this work is completed. And this, is delaying development of my basement.
To summarize the rest, everything left at the time of possession that were meant to be done within 4-6weeks are still left undone. And nobody is taking responsibility! I chose not regretting buying from Pacesetter but I definitely won’t be referring no friend and my next projects would be from a more reliable builder.

Wendy was amazing to deal with, very prompt in responding to any question's I would have. Quick in getting pricing for everything and went above and beyond in showing me all my options no pressure and very understanding for how important purchase buying a house is. I would truly recommend her for a top notch experience.

Leaking roof! I have observed this leaking issue on my Veranda (front door) since last winter 2022. Basically whenever the temperature goes above 0, snow melt and I observed the leaking from the roof of Veranda at the front door. I bought this house new in 2015 from Pacesetter, only 7 years, it starts leaking. I have discussed with the Service Administrator, they said it's not covered after 5 years. Be careful if you buy house from Pacesetter.
After sent them pictures and details on December 7, five days have passed, no action or response from Pacesetter yet.
