I am in Calgary for work and I’ve been served by Bryan. Food and service was incredible. This is the highlight of my trip! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and great service.
Minestrone soup, meatballs appie, lasagna, fish.salads with lemon vinaigrette & some balsamic was very refreshing.
We'd asked for water when ordering our drinks, drinks came but had to ask for water again.but otherwise great service!
They held our 6: 30 reservation to 7pm, I'd called as baggage and hotel shuttle delayed. So, it was a fairly late dinner time.
We especially appreciated the 'breads & assorted butters' bar!
Unique & tasty, very fresh breads, wonderful assortment.

Some people love the self bread grill but honestly they just need to have some class and get rid of it. It's tacky af to pay $4 to stand up at a grill to get bread that could have been in a basket while u sit at the table. The entire dining room smells like burnt bread. There's smoke everywhere smh. Food, service and prices are good tho

Its Wonderfull atmosphere with great Italian flavour food and the taste was so good. Bryan was a great server with smile service.

Birthday dinner was great. Discount of age % for my meal and they sang an Italian version of Happy Birthday to me with a light dessert.

Smallish piece of fish. And salad was a bit soggy instead of crisp. But good atmosphere. Like the unique feature of toasting your bread over the large grill. Waiter was great, friendly, chatty.

Came here for breakfast, food was delicious, server was great, only problem was that she was the only serving during a busy morning. Customers turned away after having to wait a while to be seated. I feel management should be checking occupancy better or have more servers if needed!

Okay, to be honest, I have not eaten at Pacini. This said, they are usually full with patrons, and the staff are polite and gracious. The staff and atmosphere is welcoming. The prices are well attended to, and if you are staying in the hotel, it's a great little area for cocooning. You really don't need anything else. Very close to YYC airport, too.

A little out of the way, really good food. Would of giving 5 stars, but was never notified of bread bar.

Fantastic food and service. Bread bar is still as good as I remember it. Will definitely be coming back.

Please never order stake sandwich here. My fries were made in the same oil as calamari and had pieces of batter in it. Good thing I am not allergic to sea food.

We had a lovely time and delicious food. Sid and his staff worked continuously to ensure that everyone had what ever they needed. This restaruant made us feel welcome and worked with us to celebrate a birthday. Thank you.

40$ for a tiny pizza and a glass of wine. Hahaha. Always the some those chains restaurant. Not see me again. Sorry.
But service friendly and beautiful place

My boyfriend and I got take out from here tonight and he ordered the seafood pasta and it was gross. The pasta was over cooked, there was nothing in it but a few mussel shells and some non existent scallops. No veggies or prawns, the sauce was bland too. I ordered the chicken Penne with pesto Alfredo sauce and it was a bit better but nothing to write home about. Oh and our garlic toast was soggy. The young lady that took my order was pleasant, but it's about the "meat n potatoes" not the person who brings it to me, if ya Pickin up what I'm puttin down? !

Bread bar was open and amazing, food was great and service was impeccable. Went for my wife's birthday and they gave us free dessert. All around good time.

Delicious food, clean place, and smelled great. I got the pasta with meat sauce and it was filling and tasty. The staff were really nice and the place looks really good.

Our service way great! Cute environment. Extremely fast and tasty food. Ludmila was our server and she was so friendly and accommodating! She went above and beyond and took her time with our questions! The menu had a nice vast selection too. We will be back!

Went for breakfast. I usually judge a place for breakfast on their eggs Benedict. While the server was extremely nice, and the decor was nice as well. I was not too impressed with the food. The eggs were over cooked and hard (asked for medium poach). The hollandaise was lack luster. The menu mentioned that it came with potatoes but I did not see any potatoes on the plate.

We would like to try this place again for dinner due to the fact that it really did look like a nice restaurant. Some of the menu items sounded appealing as well.but for a first visit I was not impressed. Review will change once I try them for supper I am sure.

This particular location was spot on and very worthy of 5 stars.especially the breakfast staff and the breakfast! I will be back I am sure but do not reside in Calgary is thing. Was on a work trip. Enjoyed thoroughly the other day! (Dinner and breakfast).

What a lovely space with classic Italian drinks and food selection. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The Risotto was splendid. And the bread bar is enjoyable as so fresh.

Impressive large Italian restaurant with great menu, food, and service. I would have upped it to 5 stars if there were a few more craft brews available.

The food is pretty good, nothing to write home about. Very expensive in my opinion for what we got!

I got take out back to my hotel room the other night and was extremely disappointed in the food. Reviews looked promising and I had eaten there in the past and it was much better than the quality this time around.

The portion of food was very small for over $20. It was very salty. I ordered a side of bread, and was given a small piece of dry, crumbling bread wrapped up in a piece of foil.

This place is way over priced for what you are getting. We ordered an Fettuccini Alfredo ($18.75) and Spaghetti meatball and sausage ($24.25) and a Caesar salad ($10) to start. I was originally going to have the steak sandwich but it isn't actually a steak.

The Caesar Salad was pretty much the same as what you could get at the salad counter at Superstore. Even the Croutons are something you would find in a grocery store. I have no idea why a restaurant with a gimmicky bread bar needs to buy croutons rather than making them from the left over bread. But this place does. Another word on the bread bar, the spreads are all vegetable based spreads, so obviously also not made in house and if you've ever gotten the garlic spread from superstore, this is the same stuff. In the end, the gimmick is that you get to make and toast your own bread, after walking across the restaurant and don't really have a COVID safe option here. Everyone touches the same utensils.

As for my Fettuccini Alfredo: This was the most bland Alfredo I have ever had. It tasted and looked like the Classico Alfredo you buy at the grocery store. It had that translucent look to it that is characteristic of Store bought alfredo. And seriously, this didn't actually taste like anything. Cream had more flavour than this alfredo. It needs garlic or nutmeg, or salt. I had to add a lot of salt. Also, the sauce had the consistency of soup. I hesitate to even call it a thick soup. I suggest whoever does the menu to go down the street to Via Cibo and taste a decent alfredo (which is cheaper than yours and tastes like food).

My partner ordered the Spaghetti, Meatballs and Sausage. It looks brown (see picture) and not at all appetizing. Flavour wise, he said the meatballs were very mushy and had the flavour you find in frozen meatballs rather than something made fresh. The Sausages were good but they are Spolumbo sausages so that is a given. The sauce itself was brown, and lifeless and didn't have any hint of fresh (and the cubes of carrot were absolute mush and we think that they were likely bought cubed like that rather than a fresh carrot).

This might be a bit picky but I ended up washing the crayon off of our table before we left too. Takes a bit to scrub it off but its not impossible.

If you couldn't tell, we were very dissatisfied with the meal. The best part was honestly the water. These guys have good tasting water.

It is good to see you are using the exact same response (copy paste) to me as you have used with others. Makes me doubt the sincerity of the reply. We won't be returning unless there is an overhaul in the menu. Via Cibo has better food for a fraction of the price you charge.

The waitress got my order wrong 3 times. I ordered a cheese cake, she got me a chocolate swirl I wanted pasta she got me pizza and pasta terrible service

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, food was great service was great, would have been 5star if steak had been cooked as requested, I enjoyed but as we ordered a platter for 2 my spouse was left eating less.

Delicious! The old lady loved her seafood linguine, and the bread bar was a neat idea. We will return again next time we are in town!

This is a great place for delicious pasta dishes. The bread grill gives this place a fun and tasty gimmick, letting you choose between a few different breads and butters for you to grill yourself. I've been here 5 times as of this review and have been fully satisfied each time.

The food is good but the portions are small and its a little pricy. The alfredo sauce is a little bland, and the sauce in the lasagna was cold.

Good food but training staff on a friday night is a recipe for disaster which we found out. 40 mins to get drinks and be told they're out of beer and almost 1.5 hrs for food. Not good when you have 2 little kids.

We visited for a late lunch. We usually stay at the Clique Acclaim, however this time we booked at the Applause for two nights. So we made the drive over.

We were setup quickly with their bottled water and a Stella Artois for me.

I ordered the meat lovers flatbread pizza and my wife had the feta and beet salad with chicken.

The staff as always was most friendly and our server remembered us from our last visit in July. They always make you feel most welcome.

We ate there last night, by far the best Italian food we've had since moving to Canada. The service was excellent with friendly knowledgeable staff. Its a large restaurant and was definitely not busy but the staff help make it better with their friendly personalities. Prices are reasonable, after all you get what you pay for and this place didn't disappoint in any way. If you want decent Italian food this place is a must visit.

Had the peppercorn steak along with the parmesan fries and roasted vegetables and it was very good for the price. Service was very good as well and the bread station is a nice touch! Was also in the hotel for training for the week and was catered through this restaurant for lunch and the lunches were alright had the meatball sub 2 days and it was decent. The pasta sauce was a little bland as well as the marinara but overall not bad

Open till late. Bread bar and a good selection of drinks. Menu is varied with good and efficient service.

One of the best Italian restaurant in Calgary. The portion are generous, service is top notch and customer service is next to none. Will surely visit there again and again. Keep up the good work guys.

I Ordered lasagna, $24.00, the size was so small it's like an airplane meal and it tasted like one too. Yuck!

Party of 4,3 ordered Calamari, 1 ordered Mediterranean chicken sandwich. All meals were super. Service was great. Will go back.

Ordered take out last night child spaghetti bolognese was tasty a piece of garlic bread would have been nice. The lasagna was way less flavorful quite disappointing for the price again garlic toast would have been nice but more flavor would have been best. Food was hot and fast.

I ordered the lasagna, small portion, the noodles were undercooked, gummy, stuck together, the sauce flavorless. Without a doubt the worst $20 I have ever spent

Love this place, when I stay at the hotel next to the restaurant I always go. Friendly staff, good food, overall I've don't have anything negative to say about Pacini. Family friendly, or a really nice and classy place to go on a date. I would recommend it.

Had the steak sandwich and lasagne and both were extremely lackluster, that combined with the good service at the start then our server completely disappeared on us. Had to go looking for him in a completely empty restaurant. Would not recommend going on a Wednesday afternoon. All this combines with the lack of bread bar because of covid the 50$ bill for the bleh food doesn't make the trip with it. Though to be fair other times we have gone it's been great! So it's not always bad!

Loved that the dine in here was Covid safe and had very friendly staff. Too bad the bread bar was closed due to the virus but otherwise the food was awesome!

The place was super dead. And so so so cold! I had to wear my jacket while eating which was so uncomfortable. The fries were cold and soggy and they only gave us one piece of bread.
Pizza was undercooked. Waste of time and money.

The taste was ok but nothing really to get excited about. Service and staff was bad.

Much more local pub than the pictures would have you think so they may be in the process of rebranding. Food was great pub-fare, service was good. Pricing was decent. Could have dealt with less screaming children but the restaurant can't be blamed for poor parenting. Overall, a solid stop after a day of skiing.

Large portions but I have had better spaghetti and meat balls from a can.both my wife's and my meals were bit overdone on pasta. Very soft mushy and oily. Only tried because it was connected to hotel and we had drink voucher after checking in. Pricey for what we actually got quality wise.

The best Italian restaurant I've found in Calgary. The crusted cod with the pasta is killer, and the gnocchi is amazing. On top of that, the staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth the visit.

Had a wonderful lunch today. All dishes were under $20 with cod (cooked properly), well proportioned steak sandwich, tasty minestrone and a lovely, attentive waiter. We will be back.

This is from a delivery experience. But the lasagna was wildly over cooked and the container arrived sideways, dripping into the bag. Instead of two 7up's I got one 7up zero when I'm allergic to aspartame. Really unimpressed.

Food is great at this restaurant. Not the best Italian restaurant in town but definitely worth a visit. This is more like a chain so you cant expect the best.

It's as good as it is in Quebec. Good service (can be a little long sometimes), very cheap menu for kids. Price is comparable to Moxies or Milestone.

I always recommend this place to friends and family. Amazing ambience plus great Italian food. A little expensive but truly worth it. Their assorted bread station is one of the best!

The food was great, bread bar was great and worked well and the prices for the food were about the same as any good establishment but the food was better than others. The only thing was the waiter seemed irritated almost that he only got a 10 dollar tip rather than 20

It's a loud place, not intimate dining. But if you're into party atmosphere. It's the place. Tasha and Scott made it 4 stars.

I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta here, cooked slightly aldente as pasta should be, the host was exactly what you would expect very courteous even joked around with me, which for myself really makes a place more inviting.

Aside from their tasty Italian food, they have this unique offering - a bread bar that comes with unlimited bread with usually 3 types of butter.

How the bread bar works: once you have prepared the bread with your preferred butter, you can then grill it in their electric stove (according to your liking). Once done, you can then eat the grilled bread. Repeat until you are full.

Service was great, food was terrible, nothing was homemade on the menu. Ordered the seafood linguini scallops were so small could barely find them. The sauce was from a can. I couldn’t finish my food it taste so bad. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

The bread bar was awesome! I wish I had more time yesterday before heading to airport for a business trip to Montreal.

Went for a birthday lunch on the holiday Monday and had wonderful service! John was the only server on and he did an amazing job of serving multiple tables at once and making sure we all had drinks and that our food was good!
The food was really good, perfect portions and very different options compared to other Italian places.
The free bread options were very cool and a nice added touch!
Will definitely be coming back!

Great ambiance and decor. Absolutely love the fresh bread bar (at least 5 types of bread and specialty butter along with a hot BBW for toasting). Food was great. Just wish the wait staff was more attentive. Planning to go again and bring friends!

Well with the restaurant being open 16 and a half hours a day you might think that they have time to clean. We arrived at 4, well before the dinner rush. There was pasta spackle all over the wall, it's white do you can really see it, but it was even on the dark spots you can see where it wasn't wiped up this week. The men's bathroom had dried urine all around the bowl, dark yellow too, you guys need to drink more water. The bathroom sink was running and showed no signs it was going to stop, even with manuel taps. The tables are all battle hardened, full of chips and dents like they made it through the great war. My absolute favorite part was watching young children work a smoking "toast" grille, if you were to wait long enough you could see a life lesson unfold before your eyes. Also this "toast" grill was caked with the burn remenents of garlic and other mistakes. We had pasta, it was boring and overpriced, but at least we didn't get sick.

Came here because I've drove by it a few times and thought I should try it out, not my best choice. Staff was nice but I ordered the ravioli and some were very hot while others were ice cold. The food was very obviously microwaved, which is very disappointing Considering how expensive the food was. Overall just a very disappointing experience and would not recommend this place considering the other options available.

Place was ok. The waitress was sweet. The brunch menu for mother's day was limited. Loved the mimosas and the tiramisu.
