Panda Express

First time checking out Panda Express while visiting Edmonton. I had a great experience! The staff at this location were so friendly and eager to help and the food was super flavourful! If only I had one of these restaurants closer to home for me! I’ll definitely be back!

Not gonna lie but this has by far been the worst branch I’ve been too, & sadly it’s the closest one near my house. EVERY TIME I come here, none of the workers greet us customers with a nice smile and a hello.they all look like they don’t wanna even work. And tell me if its okay that customers were all looking at the chef while he’s preparing OUR food while he has his phone in the other hands with no gloves.but it gets wors.get this, how come when I asked the worker (dark skinned girl with fake lashes) what the chef special is she gave me a reply with “oh its the chef special” and just stared at us like we were supposed to know.

On top of that.why even open if theres no food to be served? Is only having orange chicken out and “chefs special” as the only meet option acceptable?

To this branch. Please hire people that will actually do their jobs or else I will take this further than writing a review.

Every single time we go there…they are “out” of something. Today, no walnut shrimp. There is also a little sign in window that if you don’t get a receipt, you get something free. Today, no receipt but when I went inside they never mentioned it at all. And they tried to give me 3 receipts instead of just reprinting mine. The food is great, but the never ending issues sure dull the experience.

Horrible! I like Panda Express especially the one in Calgary by the hospital anyway this place is nothing compared to that! My husband likes his usual orange chicken and teriyaki chicken with rice not only did they not have orange chicken, the teriyaki chicken tasted sour and the fried rice was burnt! I got the teriyaki, fried rice horrible! But I also got a egg roll which was half cooked like literally one side was crispy the other side was soggy and I hate soggy but yeah highly DO NOT RECOMMEND! Waste of money.

Trash bag! Waste of time and money. First time eating Chinese food and I was still hungry! They barely give you the main and mostly rice or noodles. Cmon why so cheap? And it's $12! For cheapest thing. Garbage. You were warned!

Food is fresh but the premium prices for shrimp or steak is absurd. 1.50$ per each item on top of what you have to pay is ridiculous.

Barely edible. What a huge disappointment. 430 Sunday afternoon and 40 percent of the entrees were not available. Some for 3 weeks according to the server. You had a choice of chicken, chicken or chicken. Seriously, I'm not kidding. What I did try all had a burnt flavor to it. Not appetising in the least.

Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.

I have been to multiple Panda express locations and this one is by far the worst. Somehow they give you substantially smaller portions than the other locations. Also, they are always running out of food. Other locations will make food to order for you, this location will not and doesn't really care. I have now been here 2 times (beats me why I went a 2nd time) and I can assure you I will NEVER be visiting this location again. Please avoid.

In the 10 minutes me and my wife were there we? Saw one employee sneeze into their hands and resume cutting vegetables without washing them unemployee get off their break not wash their hands. And that was only what we saw what we could imagine going on there. What's really going on would be Quite ridiculous.

In the beginning of opening folks were doing ok, i walked in this time less veg options, served with more rice and less meat when placing order, not happy this time, hope you guys fix any ongoing issues…

Came here for the first time on the weekend, food is very bland and not super fresh honestly. We waited over 20 mins for 2 spring rolls. The workers had a lot of constant unnecessary attitude as well:/

We came to this branch, just 7 minutes before closing but the beautiful ladies cater our request for a take away family meal. I came from a 12 hour shift in ER, and run some errands. Little did i know its almost 9pm and still unable to cook dinner for my 3 sons and hubby or atleast make an order ahead of time. Sometimes life can get really busy and grateful to Panda Express at this branch. The customer service is absolutely remarkable and impeccable. Props to Hailey, Nelly, and Alu for being so kind, accommodating, professional and for providing us service despite the limited time. I understand that they are closing and I said that it's okay and about to leave but these ladies, put their BIG SMILES, APRON and HAT and told me that they can HELP and SERVE. Such beautiful souls! I highly recommend this branch and you guys gained lifetime customers!

Arrived 50 minutes before close and had 75% of the options no longer available. For example, no more white rice and chow mein noodles and Said they weren’t making any more. Already had the chairs on the tables like they were closing right away. No cash in one of the tills as they already finished for closing. This place definitely needs better management and staff aren’t friendly at all. Would give 0/5 if possible and definitely don’t recommend for anyone reading comments/planning to go.

Went through the drive through. Was asked to take my order and then halfway through was told to stop then I was able to order. Why was I asked in the first place if they weren’t ready?
Ordered 2 plates. I got beef Broccoli and there was almost no beef… two very small pieces and like 6 Broccoli pieces. Large chunks of egg not mixed properly in fried rice and onion cores in chow mein. Really unimpressed with food quality. This is the second time I’ve been to this location and they didn’t have bags. Very inconvenient. Also was not given fortune cookies. After spending $30 for sub par food, I won’t be back.

Really good for fast food chinese food. Love the orange chicken and the cream cheese wontons.

I went to the stony plain rd location at 745. They had nothing left for food.they are open for another hour and 15 minutes. I have gone to this location a couple times and always had to wait for food regardless of the time of day. The food is good but sometimes I don’t have the time to wait.

The 2 Employees working March 8th Closing shift (8: 45pm) were awesome, happy to make me a last minute meal fresh. They were extremely happy and helpful.

Their ‘famous’ orange chicken was disappointing. It barely tasted like anything and the closest taste I could liken it to was a piece of cardboard soaked in some sweet syrup. The last time I was before this was a few years back, and I can still remember how awed I was at the quality but I’m disappointed at how it is now.

Food is usually good. But This is the 3rd time I’ve gone there at 6pm when they are open till 9 and was told that the grills were turned off and they weren’t making anymore of at least 3 items. So what do they serve for 3 hours? Pretty ridiculous.
