I had an outstanding experience with Paradise Bay Hot Tubs, thanks to the dedicated owner, Pete, the skilled installer team including Chris, Nick, and the tech team led by Dave. From start to finish, their customer service was exceptional, ensuring a fantastic experience. The product is top-notch, and we're thoroughly enjoying every moment in our new hot tub. Highly recommend this team!

I’m writing this review to warn people not to purchase anything that they do not have in stock at their store. My husband and I went in end of October to buy a hot tub cover and 4 new head rests for our hot tub. As they are the only place that sells arctic spa in Calgary, we didn’t really have a choice. We spent around $1200 on the cover, as well as the 4 head rests and one pin that we needed for one of the headrests as one of ours broke. Unfortunately they only had 3 head rests in stock and they needed to order the last headrests as well as the pin. We were told that they would be in on November 5th, which was fine. We had contacted them around November 10th or so. And they said they still weren’t in. I then personally went in around November 20th as I was in the area. To which they still weren’t in. I had contacted them in regard to this on November 30th. I was told they would contact the rep and I would likely hear back from them by the Monday which was December 4th. I then got told the rep did not get back to them. And they would hopefully have an answer soon. I still have not heard anything. These parts are not cheap. And in my opinion they should not be charging people for things that aren’t in stock… it has been over a month since we were told they would be in, with no solution from paradise bay. I don’t recommend buying anything from them that they do not have in the store. As you may not even end up getting your product, and they just honestly don’t seem to care.

I probably should have posted this review a couple of years ago when I bought my hot tub. I have been continually impressed with the team at Paradise Bay. I needed a tricky delivery involving a backhoe and a very high deck. Trevor got the job done! Every time I go in the people are helpful and friendly. Most recently I had an issue with my hot tub leaking. I called and spoke with Kurt. He gave me two things to try and was very helpful. The first one fixed the problem!

I highly recommend this establishment for your recreational product I purchased an arctic spa and I am 100% happy with this Spa The entire team did a great job… my sales person Mark was very knowledgable and other sales people were readily available to answer any questions when I called. The general manager Pete was very attentive and and involved in the overall process to make my experience excellent. I have and will continue to recommend Paradise Bay. Thank you Brent Vargo.

We purchased our Arctic Spa Tundra in 2016 from Marc. We have had an excellent after-sales support experience with warranty service and repairs where needed. We have also purchased all our maintenance supplies from Paradise Bay. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and always ready to give great advice for how to care for our tub.

We recently purchased a sauna from Marc and Trevor, and the experience was excellent as always. Trevor pointed me to a less expensive model that met all my requirements but had a few extra heaters in places others had open spaces. This is consistent with my past experience - these guys are honest and genuine about meeting your needs, not just getting you out the door with the most expensive thing you can afford.

I trust Paradise Bay and will continue to use them for all my hot tub and sauna needs.

We just received our McKinley Arctic Spa - Trevor in sales was fantastic to deal with and Chris and his install team were wonderful! They offer a great product and offer great service. Thanks for our new spa!

I had just bought an Asmoke 300 Smoker and out of the box it didn't work. I dealt with Tevor who quickly got me a new control board and temp probe and it too did not work. The worst part was Asmoke doesn't have the respect of customers to talk to them on the phone and so I would NOT recommend any product from a company like that. I came back to Paradise Bay and I was very angry and I took it out on Trevor who didn't deserve that and he called me on it which I appreciate and I apologized as he still gave me a refund on the Asmoke and I purchased a GMG grill which works great out of the box as expected. So 5 Stars to Trevor for having to deal with my BS. I felt like a shmuck after that but he took it all in stride. This is what customer service should be, but unfortunately I have had too many instances of very poor customer service and didn't give them a chance. But they did exactly what needed to be done and so I would recommend this store and staff for any of your needs

I was new for Hot Tub era, was believing the Paradise Bay provide professional service. They have very good sales person, knowledgeable and professional, but poor on after-sale service. My hot tub has very urgent Chlorine issue and try to book service appointment in store. The appointment ended up didn't booked by the system and I have wasted two weeks with nothing. Suggest the potential buyer would do its homework ahead, not very much can relay on the customer service after the big baby installed. The owner better becomes the master piece.

Purchased a tub with cash and went for pick up but they were out of stock and would not give my money back I had to either bust a few fat heads together or upgrade to a different tub.

Lowering my review based on the fantastic sales side of Paradise Bay being matched by a polar opposite experience with their service team. Unreturned phone calls, emails, lack of follow-up after paying for a tech to come out for a warranty issue that wasn't fixed, and finally damage to the items around the hot tub. *EDIT: Raised to 3 stars after working with Paradise Bay on these issues, time will tell if things improve and 5 stars can be regained. *2nd Edit: The team at Paradise has treated us well since the initial issues and we are very happy with them. They've re-earned 5 stars and I won't hesitate to buy from them again.

We purchased an Arctic Spa (Swim Spa) from Paradise Bay in 2021. It was delivered close to their initital estimate of September 2021. The delivery day went great, the crane and water truck arrived on time and the rep from Paradise Bay was there to go through the initial setup. We experienced a pump problem on one of the pumps within the first 3 months and Paradise Bay had a tech on-site to replace a few days after my call and their diagnosis (done remotely, awesome). It's been fine ever since. The only issue we have remaining is outside of the control of Paradise Bay as it relates to the filter design of the Arctic Spa Swim Spas. It is manageable but a little more hands on work to clean and maintain then originally planned. Hopefully Artic Spa comes up with a new design / solution for exisiting owners.

Aside from that, the spa has been a huge success. Our son (5 at the time of delivery) is more confident around the water now and his swimming has improved greatly. We end up using the spa about 2-3 times per week. We've had 8 or 9 kids in it at one time for a 'pool' party - it's awesome. We've drained the tub once now entirely around the 10 month mark for a full clean and refresh. Sump pump helps to drain this much water but the process was straight forward and the water truck again was used for the fill. It took about a 1/2 day for the full process. Had to wait a day for the tub to heat up a bit before we added the salt again but it was straight forward. Paradise Bay was able to answer a few questions I had and had all the parts and chemicals needed.

I was very pleased with the sales team at Paradise Bay prior to the buy and never felt like once the sale was made was no longer important. Their team has always been eager to help and I'm thankful we made this purchase them! 10/10 for Paradise Bay and 9/10 for the Artic Spa Swimspa.

My wife and I recently purchased a hot tub at Paradise Bay in Calgary and the entire experience was fantastic. Our salesperson Trevor listened to what we wanted and helped us pick a great tub. The delivery team was on time and put the tub exactly where we wanted it without question and moved it twice to get it just right. Jack, the crew foreman went over all the tub details and the chemical regiment with me and made sure I was good to go. We highly recommend giving Paradise Bay the opportunity for your business. It’s a shame this is one of the only Arctic Spa dealers in the city because I would 100% choose to go elsewhere for all hot tub needs. -The toxic masculinity in this place is astounding. Treating women like they know nothing, not giving eye contact to females when they outright ask questions, and instead, look at the accompanying male -who did not ask any questions by the way, is SO disrespectful, unprofessional, and quite frankly embarrassing behaviour on their part. What year are we in? These older men need to get some respect or go! Terrible service. To the ladies who are capable, bright beings (that’s all of you), go elsewhere!

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Paradise Bay. From buying the tub from the very knowledgeable Trevor, to the amazing crew they sent to delivery it. Special thanks to Jack, Oskar, and Will for their amazing skills and professionalism during the delivery process. Moving and lifting these hot tubs is not easy but these guys make it look seamless. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone at Paradise Bay and we will remain loyal customers and refer friends and family in the future.

I bought an Arctic Spa from the good people at Paradise. While the spa hasn’t been perfect, I’ve been incredibly impressed with the after sales service on my unit. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great place to buy chemicals for your hot tub. They always have a huge selection and various other items to purchase.

I'm happy with the hot tub and the delivery guys who helped put it together and explained how to work it.

I'm not too happy with the how the company prepared me to put a hot tub in my yard. I wish that the company offered the service including planning, permiting and safety concerns, even for an additional fee which could be rebated after purchase, of coming to my house and helping me plan the best and safest way for installation and use their recommended electrician, as I was left on my own and didn't plan it correctly the tub placement & I got screwed using my garage builder's electrician that put the breaker too close to the tub.

Window companies come to measure before they install, why can't hot tub companies? They told me they just sell hot tubs and it was my problem. Really? Are you a wholesale company? You're a retailer and that comes with customer service. Which was poor in my opinion. I called many times for help, but got laughed at with this mistake and they provided me no solution and I had to find my own way. I was so frustrated, I asked to cancel the order, but they said they would not refund the $2,500 deposit. Really? Your so understocked 3 months of inventory that you couldn't sell it quickly to someone else?

They just want your money, don't care about the customer's perspective. They do a poor job preparing you and solving your problem if you have one. I did end up getting an electrician recommended by them after to fix the problem, cost $520 extra. Why didn't you recommend him before, prepare me for safety permits and to tell him to come during the planning stage and not right at the end? Get a spa planner to come on site to plan, inform on permits and include safety with the customer.

Don't recommend. You're not a wholesaler, you're a retail service company. Please provide exceptional customer service that includes planning and safety considerations. Don't leave it to the customer to know these things. If you cared about customer satisfaction and safety, you being the experts have the responsibility to properly guide them on all aspects of the purchase, not just the hot tub alone.

Great experience getting help finding an arctic spa hot tub we love. Marc was patient and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our choice, and Michelle in financing is friendly and made the process run smoothly. Glad we went with Paradise Bay!

I purchased a hottub in spring of 2013. I researched a lot from the internet and came down to either Arctic Spa or Jacuzzi. I opted for Artic Spa from Paradise Bay. I read many online reviews in reaching my decision so I thought I would share my experience. I dealt with Trevor from Arctic Spa throughout the process and was very impressed with his customer service. He did not pressure at anytime and was very knowledgeable about the products. He would immediately respond to any questions I had and helped me through the process of prepping for the install. I chose an Arctic Spa because I had friends recommend it and also because it is made in Canada. The hottub was delivered on time (out of town) and the delivery rep was very good (Matt I believe). Unfortunately after about 1 hour of heating up the tub tripped the breaker and it turned out to have a faulty heater unit. The delivery driver was very apologetic and contacted the company to have a tech replace the heater unit within 2 days. Paradise Bay can't be faulted for the heater malfunctioning and I was very happy with their response in correcting the problem. Since then the tub has been trouble free and I am completely happy with my purchase. I had a very positive experience with Paradise Bay.
Update: I had to replace a pump after almost 8 years and as I have the hot tub out of town I did it myself. I bought a replacement from the parts/service desk and they were very helpful with a couple of phone calls to assist me while I worked on the tub.

Always great service, someone is guaranteed to ask me if I need a hand with anything everytime I go in.

We bought our first hot tub at Paradise Bay about 5 years ago now. I still remember speaking with Marc and Trevor who are still there and still great to deal with. The first hot tub delivered had a cracked housing and lost about half it's water the first night. They came the next day, picked it up and we went into the store to speak with Marc. We decided to upgrade to a different style tub and it's still going strong. We have had some parts fail along the way, but the team at Paradise Bay has always been reasonable, fair and backed all warranties. Trust me when I say you do not want to buy a hot tub from Costco or somewhere. Get it from Paradise bay where a team of staff will help you figure out how to get the right chemicals, trouble shoot problems, get you parts and most of all spend more time enjoying your purchase.

Today I went in and bought the outdoor great room brooks fire table and cover, the min we walked in the door we were treated with respect and friendliness, we were showed the diffrent options, once we picked one they helped load it into truck and we were off in no time, I highly recommend giving them a visit for all your outdoor needs, amazing customer service, friendly and very knowledgeable

We can't say enough good things about this place! We use them both for our business and personally. They always are helpful and more importantly there customer service has always been top notch. We made the mistake of getting out actual Hot from a different dealer and soon realized that from a tub stand point and service end we made a horrible mistake. Finding and dealing with Paradise has been the only saving grace. I would highly recommend one of there products and dealing with them after the fact is going to be a treat. Well done guys. Got my hot tub here. Trevor answered all my questions and helped me find a tub that is great for me. Chris and the delivery team came to my place and helped me set it up and answered another 100 questions and were awesome. And when the tub had some problems and I had to call them they sent there technician Dave no questions asked who quickly and easily diagnosed and fixed the tub and was happy to answer 100 more questions. I reccomend these guys because of their level of service even after the tub is purchased.

Took us couple visit at the store before we set our mind on the perfect tub for us. Marc been awesome answering any questions. We didn’t feel pressured at any time and that’s basically why we choose Paradise Bay at the end. Good and stress free service pay off. They tried to understand our need and budget and found us a great tub for competitive price.
Chris (hope that’s the right name, been few months) and delivery team did really good at installation and setup. Good advice on maintenance even tho it wasn’t my first tub. Keep up good work guys! Will buy again and send friends without hesitation.

After all the good things we'd heard about Arctic Spas, Marc and the friendly, knowledgeable and helpful folks at Paradise Bay got us set up with a new hot tub. The Spa Boy salt water system works great with minimal maintenance. My daily dose of hydrotherapy is always something to look forward to.

We've only had our tub 6 months but we ALREADY know we could never live without one! So great for aches and pains and soooooo relaxing too. Especially after shoveling snow in a blizzard! And the whole online app makes monitoring your tub so efficient and so easy. Think we'll be able to last a few more Canadian winters with this new addition! HA! Thanks Paradise Bay!

This was our first time purchasing a hot tub. We went to Paradise not knowing what to expect and was immediately assisted by Marc. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything we needed to know about all the tubs. With his help, we were able to narrow down to the exact tub that works for our yard and family. At no point in time did we feel pressured into a purchase. He also provided us with all the information we needed to ensure a seamless set up of our tub including a referral for an electrician, Corby who was equally as prompt and thorough. Lastly Tim and his delivery team was nothing but a pleasure to deal with. They were pleasant and it was evident that they take pride in their work. They went above and beyond to make sure all the chemicals were clearly labeled and made sure we had no question unanswered before they left. We were in our hot tub a few hours later. We had a frozen hot tub in February. Found out it was the air manifold that cracked and leaked. Paradise had all the parts and so helpful. Very good service and friendly. When or if we need a new hot tub I will definitely buy here. Thank you we got our tub fixed and you guys are well equipped and amazing!

The staff are simply amazing, bough out hot tub there in 2014, we buy all our chemicals there and have had some service work and warranty work done. Everyone from sales to the technicians are great!

I purchased an Arctic Spa Cub from Trevor Vickery at Paradise Bay last year and can't say enough good things about this guy and his customer service. I had never owned a hot tub before and Trevor took the time to make sure I understood how to take care of the hot tub. To this day if I have a question he has the answer right away! Thank you so much for helping my family out with our spa. I wouldn't buy from anyone else!

I would start out by saying that my husband wanted a hot tub, not me. I am sensitive to chemicals, have low blood pressure and do not generally have aches and pains. It goes without saying that my husband loves it.almost as much as I do! He says it helps him unwind and relax which in turn helps him sleep easier. We went with a salt water system that has never irritated my skin, it is easy to maintain and help from Trevor and the rest of the staff at Paradise Bay is just a phone call away. The surprise benefit for me was my feet. Who would think that a daily, vigorous massage on the bottom of my feet would invigorate my legs SO much! I am on my feet a good portion of the day and while they never hurt, they would feel heavy at the end of the day, now they feel light and full of energy. Overall, a great product and great staff!

Walked in. Walked around for 45 minutes. No one said a peep to me. No hello. No offer to help. Ready to spend $20-$30 k but going to take my business elsewhere now. The extra star is for the nice selection.
