Park Central Apartments

Lived here for 2 years and moved out this fall. Building was nice at first. The gym was the only decent amenity. Pool/lounge were overcrowded and the golf sim was out of service for the summer and early fall. Management was slow to respond to any concerns and difficult to deal with when organizing move out. Elevators are constantly down or under maintenance. Units on the north side of the building get constant noise from construction and many units below floor 7 were severely water damaged from the June storm. It is also a pet friendly building, but the building does nothing about cleaning up after accidents. Often times poop was found smeared in the stairwell which would be there for weeks at time. If it was not for the decent security team, we probably would have moved out way sooner

I moved out two years ago due to many complaints that others have noted in negative reviews. When I moved out they literally incentivized me to write a good review and remove my negative review.and I did it.

Now two years later I hear from Collections that they are coming after me for a $400 move out charge. (cleaning and painting over scuffs in the wall) I had never even seen this invoice from Park Central.

Please never move in here and even when you move out, expect for them to still make your life stressful.these guys are on record harassing tenants and there has been discussion between previous tenants regarding a class action suit. Save yourself the stress and rent elsewhere.

Can’t wait the day we leave the place…

Location is good for young couples with no kids. They have 24/7 gym. Friendly security. That’s it.

Getting pissed by your neighbor dog barking is usual as it’s a pet friendly building. Seeing a kid sized pool crowded during the summer is usual (…and it’s overestimated, as an amenity).
“Co-working” space lacks good internet or there is hardly no internet at all that ruins your plans to work.
Waiting for weeks to get a reply from the management is ok.

MAIN REASON why I don’t recommend to live here - it’s a construction on the north side that affects east side talents as well.
Construction starts at 5-6.00am (mon-sat). Don’t trust the management that it’s bearable… it’s not. You’re not able to sleep or just relax even during the day as it’s extremely noisy. No use of your balcony due to construction and tons of dust.

If you’re good with waiting elevators for 10-12 minutes, waking up from the dog barking and construction, paying 200cad for parking and having no chill or sleep at your own place for ~1900cad (the rent will be increased for sure) - you’re Welcome to park central ;)

Wildly Overpriced, I do not recommend this building. My first year here was fairly priced due to rent incentives, but the second year lease is a rip-off. For a 2 bedroom unit, the price of rent and parking increased ~$600 between years 1 and 2.
Elevators are often down, amenities are not reliable, management does not respond to emails.

Blown away by the quality, amenities, and friendly staff at One Park Central. Would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in the Calgary Area.

I've been living in Park Central Apartment for quite some time now and I have to say that it's been a great experience overall. The building itself is very well-maintained and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

The location is also a big plus - it's right in the heart of the city, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, shopping, and more. I love being able to step out of my apartment and be in the middle of everything.

As for the apartment itself, it's spacious, modern, and comfortable. I appreciate the attention to detail that went into the design and furnishings. I also appreciate that the building has great amenities like a gym, pool, and rooftop terrace.

All in all, I've enjoyed living in Park Central Apartment and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to call home in the city.

Park Central was the first apartment my partner and I have moved into since moving to Alberta. It has been a wonderful experience through attending various events or having any questions or concerns regarding our unit. Downtown living has always been a dream and Park Central is a great building to get familiarized with the area, while feeling secure.

Living in One Park Central has been an amazing experience so far. The leasing staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe of the building from top to bottom is just simply amazing. The 24/7 security at the main lobby gives me a nice level of comfort and safety living the building. The location and the view from my unit is unbeatable. One Park Central is definitely the best place to experience the downtown life in Calgary!

The building has an excellent localization. Monthly happened free events for the tenants, it is a good opportunity to use the comum area and meet your neighbors.

My wife and I are loving to live here. We are feeling at home here and this is important to us. Erin and Denise are lovely and pleasant and the security guards and the maintanance staff are awesome. Two things that I would mention is that it'd be good to have a little more equipment in the gym yet it is really good and the noise from the second tower construction which it is just a bit annoying, but this was expected.

This is a good apartment complex with great amenities. There are plenty of spaces to work from home, good gym, and well-organized events. The management team is really professional and focused on making your living experience better.

We live in a studio apartment with a view of construction, but it doesn't bother us at all. We were aware of it before moving in, and there were other options available with better views in this building. Just make sure to clarify all the details with the management before moving in.

We’ve been in Park Central since September and it’s been such a treat! You cannot beat the location as we’re halfway between 17th Ave and Stephen Ave so there’s always something to do but even if you want to stay home, the amenities here are unbeatable. The pool, the gym, the golf simulator, this building really makes a day at home a great day, 10/10 would recommend Park Central!

The apartment building has great amenities (gym, pool, coworking space etc) and the location is super convenient to explore different parts of Calgary. Having moved here from another city last year, the building management has been responsive and made the move-in process super smooth.

Edit: Wanted to also add that the monthly events that Erin puts on really helps build excitement around new interests and community within the building. I always look forward to seeing what I might learn every month.

It is so nice living here. Great gym and different events. There is always sth going on the building to have fun especially in summer. We have a nice view of Calgary Tower and city in general. Management team and security team are professional as well.

Amenities here are amazing and very cool community of people. There was a bit of confusion with my lease takeover but when I spoke with Ramandeep she promptly helped me sort everything out and was very understanding. I'm so glad I ended up speaking with her!

I moved there last year and wasn’t told that they were going to build a new sister building which would be blocking my view. They also told me that it will be unlikely for them to raise the rent on renewal. Yet they raised the rent by $150. They basically fooled me, so I moved. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I want to say that this is the best place in Calgary. There is a place for recreation and entertainment, work, as well as a large gym. The people who work here always greet with you, a smile and help you in any situation. The management here are professionals! They are also very polite, thanks to them. I am very happy that I chose Park Central as my place to live

I really like living here. I always meet new people/dogs. I also appreciate how the building offers social events that are very fun.

That being said…. I was also mislead in my initial lease about construction and I was eventually moved from the 3rd floor to the 20th floor (after a lot of video/audio evidence and emails) I don’t have the kitchen or counter space I did on 3 tho.

It’s also very hard to get a decent reply from management about issues and I’ve noticed such a rapid turnover in the staff which makes me question how fair they are treated.

Security and maintenance are the true hero's of this building.

My family and I have enjoyed living here. The property staff, concierge, security, everyone of them are just really really nice people.
Everyone is always ready and willing to help you. The building is properly managed, common areas are always clean and equipment well maintained. And the maintenance team, their bias to action is incredible

You can't also get bored here, there is a games room and sports simulator lounge, the gym, pool and patio, you just always have something you can do. There are events hosted by the property management to just make sure we all are enjoying our time here. I couldn't tell it all but this place is amazing!

One Park Central is a really great place. Tenants have access to amazing facilities like the work spaces and gaming/recreation areas, an amazing barbecue and pool area with a stunning view of the city. Park Central also has a huge gym which is one of the most equipped in Calgary.

The staff and facility management is absolutely fantastic and responsive to all your needs. Their mantra is that your home should be a place free from all stress and that is what it is!

My husband and I just move in here a few weeks ago and we’re loving it here.
The management staff are friendly and accommodating most especially Ms. Ramandeep she helped us a lot from application to us moving in, She is amazing answering all our questions and concerns as we are new to the country. She’s 5
The place has a lot to offer they have incredible amenities. The gym has all the modern necessary stuff and the yoga room. We love the outdoor barbecue and pool area, as well as the sky lounge area.
The hub and play room is so cozy and clean as always. The cleaning staff is doing their job very well.
Our suites is in great condition and it has modern appliances with full window and a nice balcony. The building is always clean and it has 24/7 security and amenities are all well maintained.
The location is amazing it is near to everything we need all for walking distance. All in all we love living here. ️

I've lived in buildings in Toronto and Vancouver and I have to say this building raised the bar for me. One thing that really stood out, apart from the modern build and attention to detail was the super friendly staff! I"ve never lived in a building where the staff were so accommodating. My agent Rebecca helped answer all my questions before moving in in a professional and timely manner. Upon moving in, Ramandeep was great with helping me get everything set-up. The front desk was also amazing as they helped me with the move-in process - big shout out to Brandon! Highly recommend you check this building out. The vibe and community feeling is unmatched. This building has a wonderful location and amenities, however I have been extremely disappointed by management and how they have responded to ongoing financial concerns/mishaps. Many things promised during my initial orientation has not been reflected and I have reached out to management twice a month, every month, since November with no response. Every thing sounded very promising during my orientation and its just been very disheartening as it is a beautiful building.

I really enjoy the amenities and management at Park Central. They were able to move me in on Christmas Day, after getting held up during my travels and very responsive to all my move in concerns.
From Nick at concierge who moved me in on Christmas Day, Rebbeca at Management who was able to organize my furniture being moved into my unit without me being there, and the lead security guy (forget his name) that works during the day for finding my package among all the shipments in the shipping room ;), I am grateful for all their service. They are professional and ALWAYS willing to help.
Would recommend choosing Park Central as anyone’s home.

Location is not worth it. They all seem nice to start but that’s how they get you locked into to 12 months of hell if I could rate half a star I would.

Some communication issues and staff issues at the building. Amenities are great, building is great. There is decently loud construction outside of the building as they are expanding the complex.

I was having issues with renewal until Carrie and Sarah took over running renewals as well as leasing. Carrie and Sarah helped with renewal and were amazing to deal with. Timely communication and helped me with my requests and accommodating so well. 5* for leasing team for sure.

I had very high expectations before moving into Calgary and I am really happy that I choose this place. The leasing team was very helpful and supportive. Everything has been pleasant so far.

Absolutely misled about the nature of the construction when signing the lease and it has been a nightmare, especially for my roommate working from their home office. Nonstop from before the sun rises to after it sets, 5-6 days a week. Building also feels quite vacant for such a new development and will probably continue to be until the construction is (hopefully) complete in 2024 due to the lack of abatements or really any sympathy to the units that are affected by this constant drilling and noise.
Can’t speak to the other reviews regarding the management as they’ve been very helpful since we’ve lived here, but do recall they made it difficult to get either of the units we really wanted because they rented them out after we had expressed interest and were just waiting on the paperwork they promised they’d send right away and never did. Just odd we had to settle when so many units look empty. Also not a fan of how they use some conspiracy nutjob antivaxxer for most of their promotional material. Security are all-stars though.

Carrie & Sarah were such an amazing help when it came to moving into this building. I highly suggest living here. Not only is it beautiful with incredible amenities but having the 24 hr security is an added bonus that not a lot of apartment buildings have. I'm very happy here:)

I love everything about One Park Central! Aside from the amazing amenities the building offers, their onsite staffs are professional and attentive. If you are looking for a place to call home, you should definitely check this place out!

Moved in to park central a couple months ago and originally loved it. Friendly staff and great amenities.
Unfortunately, when I moved in I was told that construction wouldn't start for another year but it is 6 days a week (and sometimes 7) sometimes starting before 7 am and going as late as 10: 30 pm. There are frequent fire alarms that go off at 8 am as well.
I have emailed the staff at the building but nobody ever seems to answer.
Beautiful building, but definitely second guessing my choice of moving in.

Sorry for the length of the review but I couldn't hold off anymore. When I first moved in here, Ashleigh was absolutely amazing. She helped me throughout the entire process and made me feel like I made the right decision. When I first walked in, the security, conceirge, Ashleigh, leasing were all great. It was my first time moving to a building with all the amenities and staff available to help. I'd often stop by and talk to security (24/7-awesome!) And they always made me feel safe. I saw them dealing with some undesirables and I feel sorry for them for what they deal with but I'm happy it's them and not me:) They also assisted with my move in which was honestly the best moving experience I've had so far.

Concierge was also sooooo awesome. I loved the fact I could come into my building and know I'll be greeted with a smile and a quick chat. They helped me so much with simple things like parcels, advice on what to check out in the city, what to explore, helped me connect with the right people or just a friendly talk about my day. Truly unbelievable experience to live in a building that offers all the amenities even a roof top pool!

Building is also very clean. Cleaners here are awesome and keep the place sparkling clean. No complaints. Thank you to the cleaning crew!

Unfortunately, I recently found out that the building manager treats her staff so badly that they refuse to stay! How can you have such an awesome team and mistreat them!? Long story short, they all started leaving. Ashleigh is no longer there, concierge staff told me they want to leave asap. I havent seen concierge for a while now so I guess they did quit, and there seems to be less staff in general. I don't want to mention any names but a staff member told me that they would rather be unemployed than to put up with the managers mood swings, disrespect, being talked down to. Staff feel extremely unappreciated and bullied. What's going on Park Central? How is this allowed this day and age?
How can you afford such a nice building but not good management?

Please bring them back as they truly made this place a home for me and now it's all gone. I'm losing the services but my rent stays the same. I was looking forward to living here for a while but after hearing all of this, I'm disgusted and will move out at the end of my lease unless things change.

Beautiful common place, One of the most beautiful apartments in all of Calgary. Carrie was a lot of help in finding an apartment and getting me settled in. I'll definitely recommend to my friends.

Originally I was interesting in taking over a lease on a unit here as the building is in a great location and offers great amenities. I originally worked with Ashleigh who was great, and efficient and had awesome people skills. My application was all done and approved but unfortunately some of my furniture wouldn’t fit into the unit I was going to take over as I had yet to see the unit in person, I called the building to inquire if there was any units that could fit a king size bed, sadly I wasn’t connected to Ashleigh but another woman with a horrendous attitude and awful customer service only to be told “call Ashleigh I’ve never dealt with you” instead of politely answering in by my questions. For this reason. I wouldn’t recommend the building, there is MANY other buildings in Calgary where the staff who are working for YOU treat you with respect and decency.

Management is terrible at responding to requests and concerns. The building focusses too much on flashy amenities instead of quality of living, much more spacious and inexpensive options available.

Amazing building. Staff/Security where so helpful it was the easiest move in I've ever had into a building. The staff were super accommodating and answered all my questions.
