The people who work here are the best. They are always friendly and caring. They make what can be an uncomfortable service easy.

Parkland Dental has been great. I've been to three different dental offices in Red Deer and Parkland Dental is the one that stuck. Dr. Zachow has been excellent to deal with and very easy to talk to. From top to bottom, Parkland Dental is a professional, caring and affordable dentist practice.

I've been going here for 4 years. The front desk staff are absolutely endearing to walk into! Fabulous girls they have there! But Dr Jenny and the hygienist, Lenny, are absolutely outstanding! I had an idea to change my mouth and with nothing but a quick question to her, my transformation begun. I've always wanted a beautiful smile. I was not blessed with the best dental genes! When I expressed my concerns to Dr Jenny during a routine check up, she came up with a plan that worked with my finances and insurance and started the work. So far I've had 4 permanent crowns put on my top teeth and the next 4 are coming in January! Dr Jenny actually cares! Even when I move I will still maintain her as my dentist as I will never find another like her! And that's coming from someone who's seen multiple dentists in her life!

Venezia, my dental hygienist was very patient and gentle. The front desk staff are very accomodating as well! I am extremely thankful as they all went out of their way to make sure my dental appointments are pleasant!

I chipped a tooth during Christmas and found them amazing to work with. Thanks for fixing my tooth. Feels stronger than new.

Today was my first time going for consulting a dentist. Right from the start to the end, my Experience there was so comfortable.

Wait times are extremely long. Why schedule for 1030 if you're wait times are going to be a half hour.

Niaomi is a amazing. She comfort when I was in need and talked to me. Dr Kirk is amazing too. I had a appointment dental work done in early December sometime.

I was quite anxious about having a tooth extracted which had had a root canal. Having worked in a dental office I know the roots can then be quite brittle and difficult to remove. But all went well and I felt no pain during the entire appointment. Dr Zachow is amazing and very competent and I would highly recommend her. A day after the extraction I have no swelling, no bruising and no discomfort!

I have been coming to Parkland Dental for many years and have had nothing but quality care and courtesy. My latest visit was for dental hygiene. Cheryl my hygienist was great. She examined the health of my teeth and gums. She was through in asking if I flossed properly. Not! Overall great professionalism and completed my cleaning and scaling appropriately and with confidence.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Shariff since childhood. Even after relocating out of Red Deer, I still come back to Parkland Dental for all my dental health needs. I’ve tried to see other dentists in my city but have had things missed that needed treatment. The staff at Parkland dental are always accommodating and lovely. They are so knowledgeable about how to deal with my benefits provider and are always willing to help when I call in for any information.

Excellent care. Kristin was the best dental hygienist I ever experienced. She was so kind and funny. She made me relaxed. Dr Slywka was amazing.

AWESOME STAFF! I had an emergency appointment and they were so accommodating. I have major dental anxiety and the hygienists and Dr were so understanding. Will be using them as our family dentist for sure!

I would love it if the owner of this company could get in touch with me have some issues brought on by dr rochelle zachow that id like to bring to ur attention that were very unfair n not right if her doing with out my consent and just a heads up my name on here for review isnt my actual last name just so ur aware its my moms lastname if u leave me ur number i will get back to u as per this needs to be dealt with in a proper manner befor i go further n report ur bussiness for it very unsatisfied customer n very displeased

Aida Ledy did my teeth cleaning and it was the best cleaning ever! No pain, no fuss and was very focused and thorough. Lovely lady!

Dr. Sheriff was very professional and kind. He did a great job and is very skilled and knowledgeable in what he does. Dr. Sheriff is very punctual and I would 100% recommend him as a family dentist. Great and friendly staff.

I have been going to Parkland Mall Dental for 16 years. Always friendly and professional service. I recommend Parkland Dental to all my friends and family.

All my dental experiences with Dr. Shariff and Lana have been wonderfully pain-free. Yesterday was the final visit where they removed the temporary tooth from my recent root canal, and attached the permanent one. It went very smoothly and once again, zero pain. I love it!

For years I tried various options to whiten my teeth and nothing worked (not even dentist-applied treatments). So I kind of gave up.
Then I noticed myself smiling with my mouth closed, or putting my hand over my mouth when I laughed. Did I really need to spend many thousands of dollars on veneers?
Finally I went to see Dr. Karim Shariff at Parkland Mall Dental. I told him I might consider veneers.
After an exam he suggested a much cheaper alternative: teeth whitening products had improved considerably over the years, and he thought I would have good success.
He was right! I had great results!
They provided a kit with tight-fitting custom molds, to keep the whitening solution off my gums and prevent irritation.
I am so impressed Dr. Karim recommended the cheapest solution instead of the much more expensive veneers.
Not only do I recommend him as an excellent dentist with a reassuring manner, but I can vouch for his integrity too!

We have been going to Parkland Dental for at least 15 years and have always been very satisfied. Dr. Shariff is gentle, patient and does an excellent job of any dental work we've ever needed.

I have used this Dental office for 26 years, that says it all. My present Dr is Dr Slywka. I would recommend this practice to anyone. All the staff I have dealt with make u feel welcome.

It had been a while since i had been back to see the dentist, but the staff was as great as the last time i was here. Dr. Slywka is always calm, reassuring, professional and personable. You can’t beat this guy’s demeanour. I always feel welcome and well taken care of. Think of it as a spa for your teeth!

Nice place didn’t make you feel uncomfortable for not going to the dentist regularly like other places in red deer.

I am in my 60’s and have been to various dentists who all seemed to want me to crown all of my teeth. Went to Dr Shariff. He spent an hour with me to go over various options that would fit my need and we came up with a plan that will enable me to retain my teeth for many years but which would fit my budget. He also planned it for me in stages so that it would be affordable. I am about half way through and have never had such a gentle and competent dentist. Never felt pressured to do anything. Icing on the cake? They direct bill to my insurance plan which really helps!

My first few experiences with this dental clinic was okay.
A lady in the front desk has a little bit of an attitude which to me is very un-inviting and unprofessional.
Way too expensive and not very upfront about their actual quotes. They'll tell you one thing another day then say a higher price the next.

Front end staff is very approachable and pleasant. They addressed any questions I had. Dr. Shariff is very knowledgeable, honest and helpful! I have been going to this dental center for over 30 years. All my 5 children went there as well. Highly recommended!

Need fillings redone that aren’t even a year old due to them cracking and falling out. It’s an okay clinic depending on the dentist you get.

Dr. Shariff is fantastic! I can't say enough good things about him and the hygienists that work with him. I was with my previous dentist since I was a child back in Ontario. When I moved to Red Deer in 2010, I was recommended by a co-worker to go to Dr. Shariff. Initially I thought I wouldn't find a dentist as good as the one I grew up with.but not the case. Dr. Shariff is soooooo good at what he does. No pain, thorough, caring, informative. Also, my husband has always been terrified of dentists because of a traumatic childhood experience with one. He was surprised with how awesome and gentle Dr. Shariff was. I bring my kids in too. My 8 year old loves him and I just brought my 6 year old in last week to have 3 fillings. This was my first time watching someone else get a filling. Usually I would be in the chair. But wow! It was amazing to watch Dr. Shariff and the hygienist work. Soooo smooth.like.they are so skilled at what they do. I just appreciate them a great deal. And my kiddo didn't need any laughing gas because Dr. Shariff is super chill and reassuring. Oh ya! My dad recently had a bunch of work done too, like a root canal and something else I think. He was very very impressed with Dr. Shariff.
Honestly.best guy.he's fire. Just get it over with and book an appointment!

I had an appointment for a cleaning, check up, and I also had an issue with one of my teeth. They were able to fit me in and take care of my issue immediately which was fantastic! The biggest and most amazing thing is how gentle Dr. Sliwka is! It was as painless as possible, almost completely painless. The hygienist and assistant were very professional and gave me great information.

I moved to this clinic after my former dentist retired. I had been with my former dentist for many years and as such, was nervous about this change. However, I didn't need to be. The staff were awesome from the start! They understood my apprehension and diligently answered all my questions. The clinic itself is clean and, with COVID, they were even more conscientious with their hygiene protocols. Dr. Shariff was kind, compassionate and patient. He understood my concerns and carefully explained the required treatment for my dental issues.

As an added bonus, this dental clinic follows the dental fee guidelines set out by the Albert Dental Association. Something my previous dentist didn't. If you want quality care and friendly staff at an acceptable cost, Parkland Mall Dental Clinic is the place to go!

I have had my wisdom teeth pulled, root canal done and cleanings to boot. These people are friendly, quick and efficient. I did not have a single problem with the procedures during or after. My checkups/cleanings are quick and painless. Total respect all around.

I have been going to Dr. Shariff at Red Deer Parkland Mall Dental for years. He was referred to me by a friend. I had told her how I hadn’t been to a dentist since I was a young child because I had a great fear of the dentist’s office. But she assured me he was gentle and kind. She was not wrong! I am very pleased with Dr. Shariff and his team’s professionalism, patience, kindness, and friendliness. They are very knowledgeable and do not pressure you to spend more money then you want or need too. Dr. Shariff always gives you options. I no longer have that major fear of the dentist’s anymore thanks to him and his team. They always make you feel comfortable and check in with you throughout the procedures to make sure you are doing ok. This place is very clean, efficient, and economical. Highly recommend! 10/10

I never write reviews.but this time I need to. I am so greatful to the team of Parkland Mall Dental for accomodating me even if last minute schedule. I really needed an extraction which was cancelled by 2 dental clinic the first need to close bec of a patient teste positive and 2nd they had a problen with their water sewage.so I called Parkland Mall Dental and they accomodated me the next day.so my extraction was done after a stressful week looking for a good dentist.and the receptionist referred to Dr. Jenny Doerksen.she was my angel sent by God. I am always scared to go to the dentist.but Dr. Jenny made me feel great and comfortable.she explains everything.no pain for 3 teeth extractions.thanks to Dr. Jen she was very professional.will bring my family next time.thanks a lot Dr. Jen and her assistant for staying over for me.and thank you to the whole team. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have very sensitive teeth and have come to dread my semi-annual cleanings. Over the years I've started to go much less regularly, just to save the pain. Today, I saw M. K, and today there was no pain.
I'm sure all the hygienists are wonderful but if you have sensitive teeth and avoid the dentist because of that, just ask for M. K. You'll be happy you did. (she's also very chipper and quite lovely)

Just recieved a cleaning by Mary-ann it was phenomenal! She was very nice and gentle on sensitive areas while still getting a good thorough clean! Very nice lady too, had a great experience! Definitely recommend

Kirk is a great dentist! We have been patients of his for many years. We moved to Calgary years ago, and still travel to Red Deer for his services.
Meagan is a great hygienist! Apparently she is not always there, so you may need to request her.
A dentist appointment is not always fun stuff, but we go here for the excellent care

Both the hygienist and dentist were both great - professional and thorough. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars - my appointment was set for 9am but I wasn't called from reception until ten after and their system was down so I couldn't book my next 6 month cleaning.

I would highly recommend Dr. Shariff and his staff. He is honest, thorough and does high quality dental work. I have a mouthful of work that needs to be done and he is always honest about the work we should do first and lays out all my options. His hygienists and the girls at the front desk are always friendly and accommodating. I am a very picky person when it comes to quality dental work and I highly recommend this office for all your dental concerns and needs.
