Bought headlamp bulbs, installed them in the parking lot and one high beam bulb did not work. Took it right back into the store and they said no returns on electrical parts. Horrible customer service

First of all if they even answer your phone call. You are always put on hold. Then the drunk sounding guy just says no we don’t have that part even when they clearly do. Pure laziness. So I went right in and grabbed it myself.
I like part source normally but am finished with this location.

If I could give no star I would. I went to this location stood in line to ask the employee for help. I was sent to get break fluid and long life anti freeze, I'm not car smart so I needed to ask for help. When it was my turn the guy looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. So I called my Uncle (who's a mechanic) to make sure I was asking for the correct thi9ngs he confirmed it. I asked the guy again and his answer was "I don't know go look down there" pointing to wherever the anti freeze was. I looked at him and said " If I knew what I was looking for do you not think I would have gotten it? So your not going to help me? " He just stood there nd looked at me and shrugged. I said fine a new parts store Lordco opened down the street they will be more then happy to have my business. And sure enough the employees at Lordco where kind understanding and explained what I needed and gave me options. I will never go to any part source again if that is the type of customer service they offer.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They are happy to send you around the city to any other parts source telling you they have what your looking for there. To only be turned away as they do not have it either.

Absolutely WORST part source I've ever been to.
3 times now I ve come to this location they give me the wrong stuff and I have to drive all the way back to replace or exchange it. Brake pads.light bulbs.horn.even a mirror all wrong!
Do yourselves a favor and go to the Fort Road location!

Bought break pads few day to your store. Asked the guy to make sure they are the right once he confirmed yes 100%, went to mechanic to have them install and we found out they are not the same one. The time I spent to have it fix and ended up not being fixed. Need to come back to the store have it replace and rebook appointment again to install them yes like paid twice for the same service.

Thank you Assistant Manager Kristen for his exceptional customer service who allowed me to return the part which didnt fit in my car which I bought from other location where i wasnt able to drive back. I appreciate his understanding n helpfulness towards some stupid policy and his politeness. Hope some of the employee at this location learn that from him. Thank you.

Horrible service, went inside and walked back and fourth at the desks and no one would help me, I asked someone for help and he said yes go wait at the end and we will help, when I got to the till, the man moved and helped somebody else that was their after me. I needed a drive belt, oil change stuff, and a front caliper. Left with getting no help at all besides the man pointing me to the till. Horrible service.

Went in with a dead battery and the dude at the front counter lied right to my face saying the battery needed a charge. Went to another location and they immediately said it was dead and replaced it. Even went through the extra effort of giving us a fake Battery Diagnostic saying it needed a charge, instead of the real Diagnostic slip saying it was dead.

Web page is not good enough to locate for the specific parts for the car. So I had to call to get the prices for the needed items. Anyhow in this free market their prices are not worth for shopping, but certain engine oils.

This location was my go to back in the day but over the years the customer service has deteriorated. Closing a few minutes before they actually state that they're closed is petty

If you're reading the reviews, the 5 star reviews are people who don't know much about vehicles & would have been excited to have their minor issue that's a big deal to them fixed, anywhere they went.

I'm not saying these guys are a holes, but their customer service needs desperate training.

I've been there in person & on the phone. They always sound whiny that they have to put up with you, I've even been ushered out of the store like I wasn't planning on buying anything when I was asking questions so I was buying exactly what I wanted.

I spent a lot of money elsewhere that this specific location could have had.

I don't get that treatment at any other parts place in the city. Just this one.

Came here twice so far. First time the guy strongly recommended I go to the pick a part, because it was so easy and so much cheaper. Which I did - saved me a bunch.
Second time the guy came outside and pointed out what I needed to do on my car.

This location is garbage. Zac sold me the wrong gas cap. All the staff have a sour look on their face when customers walk in avoid this location. Wont be back

Never going to another partsource, will keep my business at NAPA. Went to return a wheel lug that i had purchased at a south side location, waited forever because the one guy at the counter did not want to help me with the return so I had to wait for the lady. When she was finally free she made a big fuss of checking the lug for damage, then would not return it because it was a different colour from the ones they had in stock at this location. I was very perturbed because the sign beside her read "hassle free returns, will return in stock merchandise from other locations as long as it is in original packaging (in my case a plastic baggie with numbers on it). When I purchased the lug I left it in the vehicle needing the repair never removing it from the baggie I got it in. I later determined it was not the right part so wanted to return it, bringing it in the original baggie.

The worst customer service I have recieved. We felt with a lady Patricia, went to return a part that they sold us was wrong and she was all mad about the box having a little rip. She had no interest in helping us return it. The one on Stoney plain Rd is much more helpful

Called ahead to make sure they had the ignition coil I needed they said they had one. When I arrived they had none. When I asked which one I may need she replied how should I know I dont drive your car. I've come here for 6 years. Disappointed will never come back.

Bad customer service. 3 employees tried to tell they did not carry any gaskets for my truck, however I still managed to find one by myself and it worked. Extremely unknowledgable staff.

I had to go and buy windshield wipers. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They even put my new wipers on for me. I also bought some a great glass cleaner that they sell, good for all windows. Of course they sell parts for vehicles and wax, engine oil just to name a few.

Wow. I sure do not reccomend this place. Wasted $50 on serpentine belts that were wrong, and broke. Assured they were the correct belts. That doesn't include what I paid to have them put on, and the tow home.
Now I'm standing at the counter waiting for them to find a rad cap that I called about. Said they had. Now no one can find it.

Canadian tire and part source will tell you same thing we do not cut customer keys because we want to sell our overpriced car keys instead.

Bought 2 chrysler grey head car keys on ebay for peanuts. Dealer and everyone else including part source charge 90$ for a $10 key. They want you to buy their overpriced keys and they wont cut your key.

If you drive any chrysler product with chip key1996 to 2009 you can program your own key as long as you have 2 original keys.
You can add up to 8 keys per vehicle
Step 1

Put 1st original key in ignition turn to on position but do not start the car. Security light will illuminate and go off Remove the key
Step 2 repeat step 1 with 2nd original key within 5 seconds
Remove the key
Step 3 place newly cut key turn it to on position and leave it in the on position until chime sounds.
Turn off the key
Your key is programmed

Start your car.

Newer cars will require an advanced scan tool to program the key.

Home depo has new hi tech key cutting machines that cut and program the key. However they only make a copy of the chip key code
So in the end you end up with 2 identical keys. Not very useful because you cant program additional key yourself if you got 2 copies of the same.code on both keys. So have the keys cut the old fashion way.

Go to lowes or rona they will cut your own key.

Great location. A staff member named Ray helped me with new windsheild wipers. He was able to find me a better blade on sale than the one I was going to get, which is awesome! He was able to install them right on the spot and even topped up my washer fluid. Highly recommended.

I tried to return an electronic item (battery jump starter), and was told to wait until the manager returned. I was told that he would be back on Wednesday. I returned on Wednesday, and he was not there. I then was told that he'd be back on Thursday. I returned on Thursday, again, the manager was not there. I returned today to see the manager, and this time, he was there, but told me that they do not return electronics or electrical components.

My time was wasted 3 times, as the staff could have told me this from the first time I went there.

The manager told me that ALL of the staff know this policy. If this is the case, then I should have been told the first time I tried to return the item, and should have NEVER had to go back to try to see a manager 3 times.

Good store if they are not busy. If they are busy o somewhere else. They will hurry and just tell you they dont have the item or cant find it.

BY FAR THE WORST!
I arrived at the store after calling before hand to see what time they closed at, to find the door locked before closing time. The tool bag that called himself the manager wouldnt even come to the door to explain why the door was locked before closing time. Horrible customer service. Very unprofessional. A suggestion to the owner of the store would be to re-evaluate who he has left in charge. I simply had a exchange because another location had given me the wrong part. No transaction required just the right part would have been appreciated.
To you sir who didn't have the time of day to assist a customer before you checked out early. Karma is a B#*ch.
