Party City

Since a favourite balloon was out of stock at this location, I purchased this from a store across the city, however this balloon had a hole in it and although they did replace the balloon with different one (the one I needed was out of stock) I was disappointed there was nothing more they could offer than a sorry there is nothing else we can do. I thought it would have been appropriate to offer something small such as a small extra balloon for the inconvenience even though I purchased other additional balloons from their store to round out a bouquet of balloons. Poor business practice in my opinion that nothing more was given for the inconvenience.

After speaking with Lori at customer service after the mention below to call, she offered a $20 gift certificate to make it right. Appreciate the acknowledgement for all the extra trouble I had gone through and better customer service.

Want to get balloons the day before the party? Don't go here. Want to speak to helpful staff? Don't go here. Want to talk to a store employee with the base knowledge of store products? Don't go here. Expect balloons to be inflated 12 hours after purchase? Don't go here. Party city, the bar set pretty low by dollar tree but you you have somehow managed to make buying party supplies more expensive and poorer quality.congratulations?
I hope this location is a Spirit Halloween by August.

Awesome place with lots of options to chose from and great staff that are quite supportive and professional.

This place is such a fun place to buy party supplies! Gave only a 4 star though because when I bought helium balloons online, I bought under the assumption that they were going to be filled when I got there (I bought the balloons that came with the fill package). However, I arrived, and they were not filled. When questioned, the girl said that we don't know if online orders want them filled or not. Which common sense would indicate to fill them. However, for online orders and clarity, there really should be a place to indicate to fill them and on what date and by what time. The girls were super quick to get it done for me though, which is always appreciated!

The customer service at my local party city is just amazing. A special thanks to Aya and Zahra for making our event extra special by their patience and help in getting a balloon bouquet inflated and arranged.
Party city is the best place to get what you need for your parties/special occasions.

The store was practically empty except for us. The staff was busy talking to each other behind the counter. We asked for help twice and instead of coming over to help us, they just gave out directions in the form of the aisle number.
We called in a day before coming and were told they had theme party invitations available. However, upon arrival we were informed they had only frozen and a princess birthday theme invitation available.
Annoyed with the attitude of the staff despite it not being even remotely busy in the store.

Gave a phone number for the points and the guy working said you realize you cannot use the points. I said I know. My husband is saving the. I just want to collect them. He was quite rude

I went in to buy two halloween costumes, and one was on a peg at $39.99. It rang up $10 higher and I was told it was on the wrong peg. When I asked why they were all on the wrong peg, I got “I’m just a cashier, our policy doesn’t account for human error. ” When I asked for clarification, the cashier rolled her eyes and said “that’s what my manager told me, and I’m just a cashier. ” I paid and left, but I’m not happy that I paid $10 more for an item than what the price tag says.

Edit: I just wanted to update this review, because Candice and manager Julia were very helpful when I had to exchange one of the costumes when they did not fit. They deserve credit for their assistance!
