Patagonia Banff

We wanted to purchase a jacket the store did not have in stock. They ordered one from Calgary, called us immediately it arrived, as well as emailed us. The staff were great.

Felt un-welcomed, was not greeted and they were even looking at us. But when other people came was instantly greeted with a smile. Felt like a race thing but they could just be rude. In general, very uncomfortable. (I love the brand)

Disappointed, made the effort to come here specifically bc of location, but it's just a Patagonia store. Nothing particular to Banff.

Staff are happy to greet you but not willing to provide customer service. They present themselves as people who are more interested in doing the least amount of work by standing around talking to each other instead of helping the customers that were queuing up for help. They didn’t seem interested at all in hearing the concerns of customers to the defects of the products they were selling, but instead suggesting that a repair can be offered after 12 weeks of waiting.

Interesting that Patagonia is always marketing their iron clad guarantee on their goods but manufacturers everything in China where quality suffers from being the lowest cost producer. My clasp on my hat broke and the colour started bleeding on the garment dye after a couple of uses. Not worth the money.

The staff were amazing with my kids and even chased me down to give us something we had forgotten at the store. Thank you so much!

I bought some ski pants that was around 300 dollars, In the beginning of the ski season. The seam ripped after 1 use about 2 weeks after I purchased them. The only option I had was to send it in for repair, because they couldn’t give me new ski pants.the repair has taken +8 weeks. The repair is useless now, because I had to buy another pair of ski pants to go skiing. Staff is sweet, but they don’t know when my ski pants will come back or exactly where they are.

Well what can I say! The customer service from
Jack at Patagonia is excellent! He helped me (calling from England) arrange Christmas gifts for my son who is working in Banff! He wrapped and labelled them for me, I can’t thank him enough his kindness brought tears to my eyes! Also a mention for Kate who promptly got back to me with a reply to an email I sent, fantastic! Happiest of Christmas’ to all the team at Patagonia Banff x

I was looking for a base and mid layer hiking/snowboarding setup and Riley was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on what I would need to pick up. I recommend seeing him if you need help! Very friendly store and would def drop by again.

The store staff has a very good attitude, great knowledge of fabrics and their uses, a great experience when choosing a place to buy clothes, 100% recommended.

One of my favourite places to go shopping when in Banff. Great selection, and something for everyone.

Patagonia is one of my favourite brands but thats not why I'm giving this location 5 stars. Alexa helped to make my shopping experience here absolutely incredible and further deepen my love for this brand. If your in Banff, I highly recommend making this one of your stops. Even just to browse there well stocked store. Pants are awesome! Thanks!

This location has the most helpful and knowledgeable employees of any Patagonia store I've shopped in. Konnie explained so much technical stuff about certain apparel items that I didn't know before. She also let me know that my jacket could be fixed which is a policy no one in the states ever explained to me. The gentleman who was working with her that day was the epitome of customer service. After a customer left an item they purchased, he sprinted after them to ensure that didn't leave without their item. I wish all Patagonia staff were this informative, thoughtful and down to earth. 5 stars!

Patagonia is probably one of my favourite companies at the moment. Prices aside they have great products and business practices.

Good retail experience. All my family purchased styl'n and comfortable jackets/pull overs which last a lifetime. I have a pullover nearly 30 year's old and it still feels great.

Came into the store looking for a light jacket because I foolishly forgot to pack one. As I perused the racks, I eventually was stuck between two choices. Cue in Tyler, the most helpful person ever! She warmly greeted me and was able to quickly break down the techincal details of each jacket. Tyler was also able to help out my friends; she helped one select a jacket based on the application they were intended for and helped the other find a pair of climbing pants that fit perfectly. After we all made our selections, Tyler even shared some of her awesome travel stories. Long story short, Tyler's amazing personality and extensive knowledge of Patagonia products made the sale to three happy customers. Thanks Tyler!

Smaller selection of items but exactly what I needed. There was a small rack of spring items near the changing room which were 60% off. Managed to grab a few items for an absolutely bargain price. Good sized fitting rooms with a mirror inside! Friendly staff and overall an enjoyable experience. They also happily give out the local Patagonia sticker to add to your collection.

Always has a good selection. Staff are helpful. Makes it a hard place to visit with out spending a few hundred buck to get exactly what I need.

Who doesn't like the tried and true Patagonia brand. Though expensive, you get what you pay for and the company is committed to repairing broken equipment and making sure your gear lasts for as long as possible. This store has friendly staff and a good selection - won't disappoint.

Great selection and super friendly and accommodating staff! We brought our 4 month old puppy into there and the staff not only allowed him in the store but ran over to let him and gave him water from a doggy bowl they have set up. I would definitely go there again

Staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable about all of their products. The layout of the store is great, and with a brand like Patagonia, you just can't go wrong.

Very knowledgeable staff. Not a huge selection and prices are higher as we are in a touristy area.
